Glen Nuggur is a town in Tyler County, W. Walnut Cove, United States. The population was 153 at the 2000 census. It is a small mining town in the W. Walnut Cove hillsides, and has continued to lose population both because of little economic opportunity and from underground MAWP niggers.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 7.0 km² (2.7 mi²), all land.

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 2,818 people, 959 households, and 641 families residing in the town. The population density was 400.0/km² (1,034.2/mi²). There were 1,026 housing units at an average density of 145.6/km² (376.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.85% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.05% from other races, and 0.10% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.03% of the population.
There were 959 households out of which 30.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.8% were married couples living together, 11.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.1% were non-families. 30.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 3.10.
In the town the population was spread out with 23.0% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 20.4% from 45 to 64, and 21.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 20 years. For every 100 females there were 91.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 85.6 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $15,111, and the median income for a family was $45,000. Males had a median income of $25,172 versus $25,273 for females. The per capita income for the town was $8,006 (the poorest in the state). About 31.0% of families and 35.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 41.5% of those under age 18 and 23.0% of those age 65 or over.
