Origin

After the events of Secrets of the Omnitrix, Vilgax found a way to duplicate the Omnitrix. But instead of merely duplicating it, he improved upon it. Adding several new functions and capabilities. However, when he was preparing to put it on Tetrax obtained it and launched it in a pod to Earth, what became of Tetrax is unknown.

Design

Almost identical to the original Omnitrix in every way except, when it is not active it separates into molecules and merges within the body of the host rendering it incapable of being seen. And then once the host needs to use it again it reemerges from within their body. The Omnitrix V2 also works on a thought process, meaning that whichever alien the host thinks of they transform into, this is somewhat like the original Omnitrix, except it is active from the beginning. The Omnitrix V2 also is capable of containing well over a million different alien genetics samples. A host is capable of transforming from one alien form directly into another without reverting to their original form, and they can maintain an alien form for an indefinite amount of time. This version of the Omnitrix also contains all of the alien DNA of the original Omnitrix seeing as it is just a duplicate of it, however improved upon. And it can contain more than just alien DNA. It absorbs samples of DNA from any species it has not come into contact with thus far. It also has an active Alien Merger Function, that can merge two alien genetics samples to transform the host into a hybrid of both aliens.
