===Hunter Guild Report: 6283287014===

The subject to be discussed in this report is highly classified, albeit some leaking due to political and governmental pressure. But regardless the communication held with those powers, the media hasn't disclosed the details of this expedition to the Impact Site. While many expeditions leave everyday with the purpose of reducing the always increasing numbers of beasts located both at the exterior and the interior, this one had the particularity of having, be it for sheer foolishness or incomparable courage, reached the bottom-most area of it.

The results of the hunting were none considerable to the evidence obtained by the hunters regarding the true nature of the mentioned Meteor. Yet they're quite vague, the subjects holding just very little memories. Thankfully, the whole description was maintained and logged by radio and local communication, as well as occasional video feed sent to our HQ. Therefore, the list of related documents to this one are as follow: the radio log, a few minutes of video feedback, the synchronization cache from 3 of the mags, and the interviews with the very hunters and those in care of them while in the medical bay.

Its is noteworthy that the hunters, previously wounded to the brink of death, have now resumed their activities, a few even taking part in the exploration of the Crater once again.

However, one of the most unexpected occurrences during the debriefing was the confiscation of the damaged cache of one of the mags. The only one that, somehow, did manage to record the events inside the core of the Crater: the Meteor itself. As the rest of them go blank at this point-- sign of an overwhelming stress source and the shock of a high amount of damage-- this one hadn't done so. And the data was still legible. The engineer in charge of decoding and analyzing the tape was apparently able to take a minute's gaze at it. The resulting interview is also attached. The results being just as interesting as the data itself. All the efforts possible are being made at the moment to recover the mentioned information and analysis for the sake of the safety of the rest of our hunters.

Added as well is the report of the rescue team sent to recover the exploration team. Though this lacks much relevance, as nothing was found in the Meteor's resting place, other than a high amount of radiation reasonably explained by the stone itself resting there.

===Video Fragment 1===

The scenario this time is nothing as green as the areas surrounding the Central Dome... this is, grosso modo, a desert. These surroundings welcome the team of Kaze, Isoleth and Auphamim as they descend through the teleporter towards Ragol. The minor facilities established to allow easier exploration are deteriorated due to many attacks. These cameras had the fortune to capture the first attack to the team.

Just as the last one of them appeared in the portal, a caricature of a boar, a Boota, charged against them. Soon enough received by a photon bullet from Isoleth, just to be finished off by a pair of slashes from Auphamim. However, this was just the advanced cavalry. Just a pair of seconds later, the whole horde charged towards them, crushing Auphamim and pushing him back, while Kaze and Isoleth retaliated. The firepower was barely enough to halt them enough for the fallen one to stand up, and attempt to push them back.

The melee lasted just around 30 seconds of charges, falling forces from the assailants, and casting Resta by the ones defending. In this period, both the HUmars had a harsh time holding the first line. Just as the bodies were pushed aside by a trio of wounded hunters, a soft, almost unheard tremor took over the floor before a bird-like creature pushed it's beak outside of the burning sands. A Sand Rappy, just another variety of those almost infesting Ragol. Though, to some, they seemed adorable and even human-like in a few situations. But this variety had that vicious nature that made it feared by any conscious hunter. And just as a flock appeared, the melee broke out again...

This video brought us over the notice that those beaks are capable of boring through solid stone to make their way out. And gave us new insight in their movement data. Yet it took a harsh toll on the explorers, that soon enough were exhausted, and almost overpowered. It was indeed a hard time they had in those two assaults, and took a minute's breath to rest...

===Background Report 1: Auphamim's mentor, Tear Realis===

"Regarding Tear, I'll be honest... she was an asset to my raising as a Hunter. Regarding her training, she was strict since the first moment we met over the hunters' guild. I'll admit she even bossed me around the first times we went over the RES. Even when she lent me her MAG unit, same I believe she uses even now, it was hard on me. (Cough) Though the first training took little more than a few weeks before I could actually set a foot over the actual surface of Ragol. It was rather pleasant to smell fresh air after... well, after a life-time of stagnant, constantly recycled air. As Coral wasn't the most beautiful planet. At least regarding nature, it was pretty much a doomed place. All the contrary, Ragol was so green and alive.

Yet I digress, I should talk about Tear. Well, contrary to popular belief, she's not exactly glad to have taken the Hunter career. Even when she's good at it, by regular standards. Not many reach such a position as hers, in the Guild's hierarchy. Yet, I believe I do understand and participate in her loathing of her job. It all starts to the day I was assigned to be held under her wing. (Coughs) Well, I arrived with a few minutes' worth of anticipation to our meeting place, the Guild's lobby. And I believe I saw her at the distance. She was talking to another Hunter, a male one. In an unexpected twist of the events, that only after retrospective thought I understand, she was blatantly abused by the mentioned Ranger. Yet, the pleasure should have lasted long. And a few months later I wonder if he can still feel anything at all. She showed incredible speed while placing a kick between the man's legs. And that, I'll be honest, scared me if not gave me a sense of security. She'd be a double-edged weapon. An ally as powerful as it can be, yet, dangerous if I ever dared do something like that.

I'll elaborate about our first run at the RES. As painful as it was. The area simulated to appear to be the surroundings of the Central Dome was relatively easy with her help and a lent weapon. The foes fell easily enough as we moved on. Yet it had that false sense of safety as she kept an eye on me. Until the dragon.

The next part should be taken with the whole seriousness as a official document requires.

''As we approached the inside of the Central Dome, the heat became overwhelming. And I knew that it was no good signal. Tear had also had the precaution to not to warn me of what'd happen once I was inside. "You should've been prepared." Her usual chime-in, as I'd know later. And I had forgotten any kind of barrier. As I told her so, she only answered with a sigh and "If things get too hot in there, pull out, ok?"..." I was then forced to purge my mind of the resulting dirty mental images. That, in all pardon to both of us, weren't my fault at all. Regardless, well, the fight carried on as soon as were both in the heated engagement. Be it her overconfidence with a weaker foe, Tear was then pushed over and almost falls onto the floor. If it wasn't because she fell on me. This event would lack relevance if not by a single, almost irrelevant detail. As she fell into my arms, I realize that it wasn't really unpleasant, she's of a slim, athletic build and yet, small in an almost fragile way (Edit: I was lying to myself, in my complete delusion. She's anything but fragile). Newman as she was, she had those familiar long ears. And as she turned her head towards me, I have yet to know her intentions, she brushed her long ears against my face. Even today, I could swear I heard a soft moan escape her lips.''

That'd derive into a beautiful and comfortable relationship of Hunting companions. But I digress.

The Dragon fell soon enough to Tear's Daylight Scar. Good enough for a first hunt, and I had pretty much enjoyed it. And, like I said, even today Tear is a trustful companion.

Even when we still hold a small, how to address it, feud. Yet in all, it has reaped benefits in more than one shape.

Her overall color scheme was white, with purple accents touching up a few key points around her torso and arms. Despite being an android, she still wore a white lab coat and a trimmed black skirt, perhaps as a way to establish some familiarity with human doctors.

to the recording. Though, in all the full sense, it'd be a 'I'm recording now, anything you say will be used against you'.

Break Miyama (9:36:49 PM):	"Well, if you want to put it that way, I suppose." Silvie responded. "I'd prefer to start with 
the very beginning, of course. How and why did you become a Hunter?"

Auphamim (9:39:45 PM):	"I became a hunter as soon as we reached Ragol a few months ago. Like anyone else, I was worried about 
the activies at the surface theater, and neither the Military nor the Government would give any decent or noteworthy 
information. And, the only opening left would be the Guild. Tear Realis was my mentor as soon as I joined, and she guided and 
aided me through the many simulations I had to undertake before I could set a foot on Ragol", he said, taking unnaturally long 
pauses in a few places of the speech.

Break Miyama (9:40:21 PM):	The android began to hastily scribble notes on the datapad.

Auphamim (9:41:47 PM):	"Other than a few particular idiosyncracies from Tear, so far we've held a fine hunting relationship so 
far. Probably sprouting from the tight bond we developed during the first training sessions"

Break Miyama (9:42:06 PM):	"What happened then?"

Auphamim (9:43:43 PM):	"Ah, well... like the regular procedures after the first scouts were deployed to Ragol, there were 
simulations set up for newer Hunters. As I joined, we were barely starting the exploring of the Ruins. So we were simulating 
the zone called now 'Forest' by most..."

Break Miyama (9:44:14 PM):	"....mmhmm."

Auphamim (9:45:48 PM):	"The usual, now know by me through RES and actual field experience. Rappies, Boomas, etcetera. Nothing 
out of common. I saw Tear's true experience in the battlefield then. At times, I do admit I felt worthless compared to her"

Break Miyama (9:47:21 PM):	"How so?"

Auphamim (9:51:03 PM):	"She is powerful, even more than me today. And by then, she was pretty much destroying anything that 
stood in her path. I could barely put up with her rhythm of hunting. But it was pretty much a regular experience until we 
reached what would be the 'Central Dome' wreckage. The Dragon's Nest. We found the main gate, and walked inside just to be 
welcome to the small home of the big, red lizard".

weapon and her MAG. And that was pretty much what I had needed so far... and, by then, Tear hadn't alerted me about what I'd 
find inside. You should have prepared, she said. And before I went inside, she continued: If things get too hot in there, pull 
out, ok?..."

Break Miyama (10:02:53 PM):	"...."

Break Miyama (10:03:07 PM):	Even the android seemed to recognize the innuendo in the statement.

Break Miyama (10:03:49 PM):	Indeed, she even wondered whether or not it was intentional, and seemed to note this on the 
datapad.

Auphamim (10:04:20 PM):	"...soon enough, we were inside. As she had said before, it was hot inside..."

taking quick gazes at her because of that. And, regardless, I had to observe her fighting style. She was teaching me, after all"

smile.
