Kingsguard

The Kingsguard protects and serves the King of the Seven Kingdoms. The Kingsguard is led by the Lord Commander, currently Ser Barristan Selmy.

Ser Jaime Lannister slew King Aerys II Targaryen during the Sack of King's Landing.
