Ford Hundred (Medieval))

A Hundred formed at the start of the 13th Century by renaming Rhiwset Hundred

The meeting place was probably the ford Ford from which the parish was named. SSeveral manors were lost to Shrewsbury Liberty. Bausley was drawn into Wales and for a while Trewern Manor became the Welshery of Nether Gorddwr.
