Mnemosyne Marcus 1
From Ars Magica
From Mnemosyne ex Guernicus to Marcus Severus ex Jerbiton
Greetings Sodale,
- Your information was indeed correct. It is my intention to form a new Covenant in the Stonehenge Tribunal. The location has not been set, as further investigations must first take place as the suitablity of a number of locations. Recently I have received news that supports the possibility of a covenant on the borders of England and Wales - Shropshire and Powys being likely candidates.
- I have been in communication with a number of other magi on this very subject, with encouraging results. Please do not be insulted that this is the first that you have heard from me directly. I am afraid that my knowledge of events outside of my own Stonehenge Tribunal is limited and I was deprived the glad tidings of your ascent to the ranks of a full member of the Order. However, I am overjoyed to have heard from you spontaniously and take this as an excellent sign for the future.
- I suggest that if at all possible you meet with myself, and those other interested parties who can be contacted in time, in person and close to the prospective local of our future home. While preparations are indeed essential in terms of securing resources, there is nothing like examining the lay of the land itself. With good fortune we shall be able to find a favourable site for our covenant and commence the neccessary steps immediately.
- I and a number of other magi, will be meeting in the village of Little Stretton in the west of Shropshire on the 18th day of April, four weeks past the vernal equinox in the Year of Our Lord, 1220. I pray that you will be able to attend and have a safe and speedy journey.
Mnemosyne ex Guernicus.
