South-east of Church Stretton, tucked away behind the sharp heights of Ragleth Hill and Hazler Hill, less than 1kn SW of Hope Bowdler Chelmick sits over and in a narrow valley containing a stream taking water off Ragleth hill.
History
Recorded as one of Hugh de Montgommeri's (sic) holdings in Domesday. Hugh de Montgommery, was second son of Earl Roger de Montgomery
