Situation
Saxton Map: Shipt (Shipton)
Shipton lies about 2km north-east of Broadstone in Corve Dale. It sits with high ground to the northewest, looking south-east over the River Corve.

St Janes. 12th century nave, plain Norman chancel arch. 13th century tower, with a weatherboarded upper stage, and a pyramidal roof. The rest, although it appears early 14th century, is Elizabethan, or later.
