Etrahn Timeline

The following is a timeline for the world of Etrah:

Year 0: Etrah is formed.

Year 204: Etrah is now inhabited, thanks to divine works. The planet's foremost population consists of humans. The wildlife consists of many various insects, a few varieties of quadrupeds, and a few birds. Technology is nil, and humanity lives in the wild, among the animals.

Year 500: Angels visit Etrah, giving the blueprints for some basic technology, such as windmills, and boats. This sparks a technological revolution among the Etrahn people, and the world is suddenly filled with "inventors".

Year 614 (1 AV): The Warrior Angels do battle with the Sons of Plunder in the ancient city of Ferdas, with the Warrior Angels victorious. Human history is first recorded from this time forward, with monks recording time in AV years, for Angelic Victory.

17 AV: The city of Ferdas is reduced to rubble by Visignis. Much Etrahn technological progress is slowed by the annihilation of this major city in ancient times.

Circa 2000 AV: Etrahn technology now rivals that of present day Earth, and is still rapidly climbing.

3019 AV: The Machine Army, an enormous force of sentient robots, is destroyed by Visignis, preventing what would have been an inevitable human holocaust.

8008 AV: Present day.
