History
A lonely alien who at first belonged to the Repuren. Akihiko has quite the history:
Before
Akihiko, being an alien, arrived at Earth as a very lonely alien. He chose to disguise himself as a human to purposly fit in. Akihiko was originally all for the Repuren, but Tokyo changed his mind. To him, the Earth was already beautiful enough. He heard about the Mew Mews some time later, and decided to side with them. Akihiko became the Gold Knight, and has been helping the cause ever since.
Current
Akihiko has been stratigically placed in the school where some of the Mews attend. He usually keeps a close watch on the one he protects, but tends to watch the others too. Akihiko's first appearance was at the cafe. He aided Mew Creme in her battle by saving her from an attack. He's been seen in the events as well, like the Thankgiving Festival, and the Holiday Cruise.
Personality
Despite his whole "save-the-world" goal, he is a very rude and un-social person. Like Kyo from the anime Fruits Basket, he's rude to others when he doesn't mean to be. Being a lonely alien, Akihiko has never known what it's like to be loved, and has been bitter ever since.
Akihiko expresses him caring for others by getting mad at them, or yelling. He never could really understand his emotions. Most of this is caused by him beng a lonely orphan for most of his life.
Relationships
He has complicated relationships with the ones he cares for the most. Akihiko tries his hardest to change.

- Kurosaki Seiyounashi: Met and danced with at cruise. Seiyounashi is some what infatuated with Akihiko, but he is pretty much confused about it all.
- Akiyama Creme: Saved her as The Gold Knight in her first battle. He is her protector, but doen't get along with her that well. They are both pretty much enemies, and Creme has stated that she'd rather have nothing to do with Akihiko.
Love Interest
He doesn't have a stated love interest, but has intereacted with Seiyounashi the most.
