Before
When the original events of Tokyo Mew Mew were taking place Bara was Kisshu's loyal fangirl, waiting patiently for him to return from Earth. When she learned of Mew Ichigo and realized her (non-existent) relationship with him was at risk, Bara began trying to be like Ichigo. Her motives for coming to Earth was to get revenge on Mew Ichigo but she now just works to try and impress her beloved. Sirvat and her do not have parents anymore; their parents died when the siblings were young, at which time Sirvat had to take on the role of father and mother to Bara.
