Justin Cygnus Maverick is the strongest known Black Maji in the Centrian Empire (World-wide) and the Captain of the Pirate Ship Righteous Jones. Justin escaped from the Centrian Royal Majik Academy to become a pirate, and has since been traveling the seas looking for booty. Lately he returned to Centria to save some pirates and ended up in league with Aroshi Yamabiko in an effort to destroy the tyrannical Dragon White.
Justin is a little scatterbrained, but is also hugely intelligent. He is the world's leading Majik Circle technician and had the highest grades ever recorded at the Academy. Justin is interested in getting laid and eating and having fun (he's recently taken up golf). He is death-til-us-part loyal, a fantastic (if eccentric) leader, and most importantly, fearless in doing what he has to do to help people.

Wand: A bar. He can change the length of it. Usually keeps it as a baton, but it can go from pencil to bowstaff size. Inscripted with an incantation.
Secrets
Justin doesn't keep many secrets, though he usually won't go around flaunting his power and know-how of Majik. Justin's wand is also inscripted with a special spell that can summon a gigantic power-up circle anytime and anywhere. This majik circle amplifies his majik a hundredfold. It's the Maverick Special, and not many people know about it.
Powers
Justin is considered a firemaster; he generally chooses to manifest his Black Majik as fireballs and other fiery things. However, he's also adept at using other elements. Justin can easily summon a fireball the size of an elephant without any spells or his wand; with his wand his fireballs can be the sizes of houses.
Connections
Justin is very notorious, with one of the highest bounties ever offered by the Centrian Empire. A lot of people know him, and he's gotten pretty good at knowing other people.
