Rue

Rue Covington is the newest addition to the crew of Wolfpack Pirates. So far, all he seems to be good for is menial labor and being the object of slapstick jokes.
Rue is, for the most part, a quietly unhappy, awkward kind of guy. He has three standard expressions: grumpy, panicky, and uncomfortable. Lately he's tended towards uncomfortable instead of grumpy as his default mood, probably because he's had to be around people he doesn't dislike, but still doesn't really know how to talk to. Despite his usual antisocial attitude, he is very polite. If he addresses people at all, he'll either give them their official title or add a Miss, Mrs., or Mr. to their name (i.e. he calls Justin Captain Maverick, and he calls Noctorious Mr. Drake). This is, of course, void when someone (such as Aroshi) asks him not to do that.
He's slowly learning how to interact normally with people. It's a process.

Secrets
Rue's big secret is that he's a runaway White Maji (in training, I guess). Awkwardly enough for him, this doesn't seem to be a secret anymore--pretty much everyone he knows knows he has white majik. He left the White Fleet before finishing his training about three years before the current storyline, and is now trying to leave Centria so he can live out the rest of his days in peace as some kind of hermit someplace where nobody will be able to find him.
Powers
He's sort of a middlish-strong White Maji. There's something odd with his majik, though, where--most notably when he does a really serious healing--he'll take on certain personality traits of the person he's healed (example: Rue thinks Meia is cute after he heals Noct [1]). He remains unaware of this.
Random
- Rue hates messes. He will go out of his way to keep things clean. He is also a compulsive fixer, in that if something is broken, he'll try to fix it. Unless it's clearly unfixable, in which case it qualifies as a mess, which he will then clean.
- He usually smells mostly like soap and a little like mint.
- He's pretty good at math. He taught himself calculus for fun.
