Meilin's Final Fantasy XI Wings of the Goddess Map Replacement Pack.

AS OF JUNE 18TH, 2008 - Yes, I have the verison maps updated! Download the new maps below! I ALSO HAVE A NEW WEBPAGE! PLEASE UPDATE YOUR FAVORITES FOR http://akaitenshils.11.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?p=915#915 ! ^^ Thats where I'll be doing all of my updating!

These maps replace the (insanely) inaccurate maps in the WotG Expansion pack. They include important graphical barriers and quest spots. I'm still working on making them perfect, only time and suggestions can help!

To Install: You need a unraring program, I reccomend Winrar. --- How To Install ---

AS A PRECAUTION, Log out of FFXI -before- installing these maps! It may cause your game to crash!

• Make sure you have an unraring program. Winrar, 7zip, ect.
• Download the file, open it, and hit "Extract to.."
• Locate your FFXI folder on your hard drive. My is in C/Program Files/Play Online/Final Fantasy IX
• Hit Extract, and Yes, you'd like to replace the files
• If the maps do not work, make sure they were properly extracted into ROM5/5 and there is no folder in ROM5/5 or ROM5/7

To anyone wary of downloading my maps - I ran my map pack through http://www.virustotal.com. Here are the results. Clean! Each time I update my maps, I'll run them though Virus Total. I'm not here to scam anyone out of an account, I hope this soothes anyones fears!

Backup Files: If for any reason, my maps cause your game to crash, or you are just unhappy with my map pack, I have backed up the entire ROM5/5 Folder, and uploaded it for you to download. Click here to download the backups.

Update Information: 6/18/08 - v1.4 Added all the C.A.'s during Beastmen campaign and redid the town maps. Found and added Davoi map. Also, website my maps are hosted at has changed! www.akai-tenshi.com is the mainpage (Not in my control) and http://akaitenshils.11.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=193 is the offical, will always be updated forum link!

3/23/08 - 1.3! Yay! Added the three new zones with what little I could find. Also added the new crystal spots. Very hard to explore as one, attack limited WHM! Hehehe.

2/14/08 - 1.2 is out! Yay! Updated all maps with campaign outpost locations, and many ???'s, quest markers, ect. Full sweep of zones is comming next. Updated images page with new images, and uploaded the backup folder.

2/8-10/08 - Launched the map pack, includes all zones before the March 08 update. All files have been tested and do not have any ill effects to the FFXI game when installed properly. Sweet! I made something that works!

• ???'s for the Sliced Pole key item. I CAN'T FIND ANY.
• Any random ???'s that are involved with a quest, campaign op, or otherwise.
• Headhunting NPC locations!
