Appearance/Clothing

Suzuki has long, bluish-purple hair that she typically keeps up in a pony tail so it doesn't get in her way. Her eyes are blue and match her hair perfectly. She has a nice slim figure and some well developed arm muscles with leg muscles that defiantly exist, though they aren’t as developed as her arm ones are. Being into sports and archery, it makes sense that her figure is well formed. Her breasts are a C-cup though she has a medium-small waist. She likes wearing short skirts or shorts. Typically Suzuki wears shorts instead of skirts though because she's very physically active.

It’s almost impossible to spot Suzuki without her bow and quiver. When not using her bow, it’s located in the quiver so that she doesn’t have to have it in hand all the time. Of course when doing sports or the like she puts her bow and quiver down so they don’t interfere but she does keep a close eye on them. Her quiver has a little hood on it to keep the arrows dry if it were to rain or something, but she almost never keeps the hood on the quiver because then Zuki can’t have quick access to her arrows.

Personality

Suzuki is a very spunky girl. She's outgoing and can have a temper if pushed. Typically, though, Suzuki is likeable. She keeps a good attitude about things and strives for what she wants. Her mind is very down-to-earth and factual rather than up in the skies. She does most of her homework and is typically a B-average student. School isn't Suzuki's big concern; in fact she's likely to do it after all her fun is over with. Taking sports though requires good grades, so she does well party for that, and partly for her father since she knows he worries about her. Though she excels in gym and enjoys extracurricular activities whether they be sports or clubs. Her favorite sport would of course be archery. Things such as art club or textile club, however, would dull this girl unless she were in it with a group of friends of hers. Debate teams can be fun for Suzuki and being part of the school counsel would also interest her.

Her schedule is usually full because of school, her extracurricular activates, dates, and hanging out with friends. Typically this doesn't bother her, but once in a while everyone wants some time to be alone and relax. Suzuki, most of the time, doesn't like relaxing though and would rather be out having fun, whether that fun be by herself or with people she knew. Dates and friends are almost required for her. Suzuki hates being alone and she tends to get along better with males than females. Sadly Suzuki has fear of commitment, but because she always has dates lined up, she doesn't have to worry all that much about a guy trying to stay with her permanently. Suzuki is always swelling with self confidence and hardly gets embarrassed, as well. This helps her be as outgoing as she is. Rejection embarrasses her though, but it's hard to see because she also gets angry. Once Suzuki is angry, she holds a grudge that is hard for her to let go of. She can also get physical of angered enough. If Suzuki is angry at you, she won't care about you at all, no matter what misfortune you run into.

If Suzuki gets mad at someone and eventually they settle it, she'll feel closer to that person than anyone else, she'll feel very secure with that person and that person will become very dear to her. At that point, almost nothing could get Suzuki to hate that person. She hates people who are fake, people who pick on others, people who act as if they're much stronger than anyone else, and people who are more kind than they should be. Of course she hates other kinds of people, but many things are on a person-by-person basis. Suzuki likes animals, honest people (especially those who are honest about things that might not be nice), archery of course, good sportsmanship, men who'll help her out but not treat her like she's "only a girl," and the kindness of strangers.

Zuki is her happiest when she's doing archery. Doing it relaxes her more than anything and just the thought sends chills down her spine. It's an activity that she'd never wish to give up. Typically she's very aware of her surroundings; usually she can tell when a person is near by. When her bow is out of reach, she tends to feel out of place or slightly insecure. She hates being parted from her most precious possession. Suzuki has trouble isolating herself from her surroundings, making meditation a very hard thing for her to accomplish. She flourishes with self confidence, having the ability, if in the situation, to walk around naked without worrying (though she doesn't like to do it because things get awkward). When it comes to her body, she knows she's pretty and is able to take a compliment if it's given to her. Also, she doesn't believe in "purity" so such things as being tainted and sex aren’t a big deal to her at all.

Suzuki believes strongly that she can protect herself from any situation she's thrown in. She doesn't believe that she can always win a battle, but she trusts that she can survive and escape if she wanted. She's a woman with a backbone, and no one can tell her or force her to do something that she doesn't want to do. She'd rather be killed then give in to other people's desires. Suzuki comes from a family that's into edict so bowing and such comes only natural to her. The joy of others comforts Suzuki (usually). Also, many things still surprise and impress her. She has no problem poking fun at herself. She's a girl of action that likes to avoid words of dedication. She didn't like to use words to reject someone either, though if she had to she would. She'd also rather show her feelings than say them, and she'd rather see someone else's feelings than hear them. Especially sweet talk; Suzuki hates sweet talk extremely and would rather just get a guy in bed than waste the time of hearing those words that'd be false in a couple days.

Suzuki isn't arrogant but she does know she looks good and that she’s great with the bow. She believes that everything has its own spiritual energy though she treats it to be more of an uninteresting lecture than supporting the idea. Honestly, the idea of water or fire having its own spiritual energy bored her; so what if it has its own energy? Suzuki also isn't that good of a cook. Not that she’s horrible at it; she’s only okay at it. Most people can cook better than she can. Zuki also has excellent eye contact skills. No matter who she's talking to, looking them in the eye doesn't bother her and she prefers doing it. The only time she doesn't keep eye contact is when there's silence between her and the person she was talking to; she doesn't like to give the impression that she's staring. Also, she cannot keep eye contact to someone who she feels has the upper hand to her. She has to be on equal or upper ground before she's able to keep eye contact with that person and usually she feels that way unless she's loosing a battle.

She likes to give people the benefit of the doubt which could either make her foolish or kind--perhaps both. In battle she's quick and quiet, just as an archer should be. She isn't very powerful compared to others, but she does have a brain that can be a deadly weapon depending on how she uses it in battle. This is partly what gives her the confidence that she can escape danger. Another thing Suzuki hates is being pitied in any way, and because of that she never pities others. Her hearing is excellent, considering she strongly needs it for battle. Suzuki also doesn't learn lessons unless she experiences it herself. She may heed warnings, but a lesson never is truly learned for her until it becomes a personal experience.

She relies on her instinct even though she's aware that it sometimes lies to her. It's foolish to rely on instinct, but Suzuki has trust in herself. She's also pretty acrobatic. It's not her best skill and she doesn't rely on it, but she's better than she thinks. When she nails a landing, it often takes her aback and surprises her, and even scares her (depending on how dangerous a move it was). She gets bored of relaxing and only enjoys it when she's drained of energy.

Frankly Suzuki is a player. As said she fears commitment and it holds true. If her father knew what kind of girl Suzuki was, he'd never want to let her out of eyesight and defiantly wouldn't have allowed her to come to AHS. Her father's opinion of men never mattered to Suzuki though. Marriage is something that's not in her mind and so why would her father have to meet the men she dates? For her to be in a serious relationship with someone would be amazing. She hates the idea of someone taking care of her and would rather take care of herself, nor would she ever want to rely on someone else for happiness. She feels comfortable just about anywhere, from crowded bars to privet locations. The only place she wouldn't find comfortable is hanging out in a dangerous location like above a volcano.

Special Powers/Weapons

Longbow

Suzuki's weapon of choice. Her longbow holds no special powers and thus, if broken, can be replaced. However, her bow is custom made, considering in this day and age the common bow used is the compound. (Compound bows are hardly affected by changes of temperature and humidity and gives superior accuracy, velocity, and distance in comparison to the traditional longbow. Unlike traditional bows that are usually made of wood or wood laminated with other materials, compound bows are usually made of aluminum and composite materials.) The traditional Japanese longbow is the same height, or even taller, than its wielder. In Suzuki's case though, her bow is only half her height. It was her preference to have it this way. The bow is made of bamboo and the arrows she uses are made of wood (as apposed to the modern day arrows that are made of aluminum or carbon fiber). Suzuki's power would be upgraded if she decided to move from the longbow to the compound bow and to change from wood arrows to aluminum. She's still considering upgrading, but for now she's happy with her longbow and wooden arrows.

Arrow

Suzuki is definatly not modern aged. Along with an old fasion bow, she has old fasion arrows that are--instead of being made of alunimum--made of wood. There's really nothing speical to be said about her arrows other than they're the weakest form an arrow could be.

Dagger

A dagger is one of the two things (other than arrows) that Suzuki has always in her quiver. You never know when a blade would become in handy. Being a long range attacker, she did need something to defend herself from close range attacks. A dagger could come in handy in several different ways, and it doesn't take up much room.

Rope

The second thing Suzuki always carries with her in her quiver. Because there have been many situations where it's had to have been cut or left behind, there's no set length for it. Rope is an easy and cheap thing to find, so it couldn't hurt for her to keep it on herself, right?

Wind Arrows

Being a skilled archer since she was young, her powers are used to give her skill an extra boost. When firing an arrow, the wind captures the arrows, giving them a great boost in speed and silence. Wind Arrows cannot make arrows turn, only make them go faster, quieter, and straighter. The arrow can reach up to the speed and power to go through a tree and half way into another. With this power, the arrows can slice through an inch and a quarter of an inch of iron, making thick shields necessary for protection from her. The power of the wind fades dramatically after 130 yards, so anything past that would only feel the power of a typical arrow. The speed of the arrows triple from that of what it would typically go (the bow that Suzuki uses allows her arrows to go 300 feet per second, so with her Wind Arrows they are able to go 900 feet per second).

Holy Arrows

She also has the ability to create Holy Arrows so that she doesn't need real ones. To create these, meditating is a needed skill to obtain the Holy energy. Once enough is gathered, the arrow will form on the bow. If the environment is loud, or the situation is dangerous, this is very hard for her to do since meditating forces you to ignore everything that's going on around you. The strength of the arrows depends on how successfully she meditated and how long she meditated. Though her ability to create Holy Arrows is still underdeveloped and she cannot control them with the Wind element yet, Suzuki hopes that with more practice at this her holy arrows will become stronger than regular arrows and she hopes to some day be able to also manipulate them with her Wind Arrows. When she gets more skilled with Holy Arrows, she won’t need a bow in hand either (though she’s very new to this power, so it’d take a long while for her to get that good at it). Her Holy Arrows are currently as powerful and harmful as normal arrows, though they are very strong against dark forces.

Relationships

History Before AHS/ASA

Suzuki lived happily with her family for most of her life. She moved around a lot when she was little because her father's occupation (he was a mechanical engineer who mastered the art of metal bending). Because of all the schools she had to go to, it were either she is shy and keep to herself or be loud and people loving so to gather friends. She chose the path of charisma.

At a young age she begged her parents to let her take up archery. Always willing to spoil their daughter, they bought her a bow and lessons. She had been taking these lessons since the age of seven. Going to new schools always gave her the opportunity to show off her bow skill, which always got her a couple friends. Her attachment to her bow grew stronger and she had fallen in love with her skill.

Suzuki loved her father greatly, and always looked up to him. His skill in metal bending made her want to do the same. Suzuki watched her father careful and through that and her teachers, figured out her first skill: Wind Arrows. She had learned this when she was ten years old and for three years she had a very hard time learning it. Though her fourth year with the skill, Suzuki showed great improvement and her percentages of failures dropped dramatically.

Her fifth year with the skill, which was a year ago, her mother fell ill and died from an unknown disease. A little before this time though, Suzuki was learning her new skill: Holy Arrows. With the death of her mother though and all the extra chores she was given around the house, Suzuki had little time to perfect it and so she’s still pretty bad at it.

Because her father and mother had an awkward relationship and never seemed to be that close, he got over the death of his wife rather easily. Suzuki had always been a daddy's girl so she got over it as easily as he did. However, she had to pick up where her mother left off though. That meant she had to help out around the house a lot more often and her father was almost always at work so she ended up being very independent.

In the 9th grade she went to yet another new school, and she ended up getting into a fight with a group of boys. They poked fun at her for not having a mother and having to take care of herself. Her temper got the best of her and she attacked them, though she was found rather quickly by a group of adults. Ashamed of her actions, her father decided that his daughter needed to get away and go to a school far away where she wouldn't have to worry about having only one father. A place where everyone would be in the same boat as her. So after some research, her father decided to send her off to Anime High School. Being an engineer, affording the tuition was a piece of cake for him.
