A bit vast in the suburbs, Buffalo offers inexpensive property set alongside the rest of Niagara Falls. Lake Erie to the west of Buffalo makes an excellent setting for summer fun.

Rochester

A sprawling city, Rochester is dominated by some of the best-known models on the planet. House to such businesses as Xerox, Kodak and Bausch & Lomb, the city offers plenty of jobs and a definite well-healed environment. That is particularly true in the downtown area, which shows the economic power of these companies.
