Neon Genesis Evangelion is this show where we learn that you can be a total pansy for an entire series yet be applauded at the end for simply discovering that life doesn't totally suck. This is very inspirational to the hordes of dysfunctional adolescent loners who grew up thinking that Neon Genesis Evangelion was the best show ever.
