Newport International Airport

The Newport International Airport (IATA: NPT, ICAO: NRCL) is the international aiport that serves the city of Newport, in the Republic of Newport, and its surrounding metropolitan area. In 2007, it replaced Jungdo International Airport as the main international gateway to the National Capital Region.
Newport International Airport is located in the Eastern District, or Airport Way District. It is less than 7 kilometers east of the capital city's central business district, and 17 kilometers northeast of the city of Chatanou.
The airport is managed by the Newport Aviation Authority, a branch of the Department of Transportation and Communications.
