The Second British Empire is a re-invigorated Britain. It was formed by King George the VIIth in 2133 on a tide of renewed nationalism.

History
George VIIth and the New Dawn
- George VII ascended to the throne in 2129 at the age of 40.
- In 2125 he agitated to change the succession law to allow his daughter Victoria, born in 2121, to ascend the throne after him. THis law was passed in 2129, when he became King.
- He formed the SBE in 2133
- He commenced building two Ark Ships in 2132
- They were launched, one to Hydra and one to Griffin in 2134.
- He died in 2142 at the age of 53, and was succeeded by his daughter, Victoria II.
The Second Victorian Era
- Victoria II ascended to the throne in 2142 at the age of 21.
- She fast-tracked the construction of her father's FTL ship, and in 2143 sent it to colonuise the Hydra system.
- She died in 2227 at the age af 106.
