In short, Eugenics advocates the improvement of human hereditary traits through various forms of intervention. Earlier proposed means of achieving these goals focused on selective breeding while modern ones focus on prenatal testing and screening, genetic counseling, birth control, in vitro fertilization, and Genetic Engineering.
Genetic Engineering was largely banned under the Treaty of New Iowa, although persistent rumours claim the super powers continue to dabble in the field. Eugenics today is largely unpracticed due to inconclusive results except by the SS of the GDL.
