Currently David manages the list of members who's email addresses bounce. It requires only occasional attention. Normally other organisers do not need to worry about it.

Official A-Club organisers can see the list of members with bouncing addresses by going to the main yahoogroups A-Club page and clicking "Members" then the "Bouncing" tab. (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Aclubbrussels/members?group=bounce)

The list isn't entirely reliable; while it reports recent bounces OK, sometimes people can drop off it and some weeks later reappear on it, even though their address has been out of action the whole time.

Additionally sometimes the reports suggest that an email address has been bouncing for a long time, when in actual fact it only bounced on a few distributed occasions, and is otherwise active.

Consequently David maintains a list of members off-line, and only removes addresses when it's clear they've been bouncing for some months.

At any time, you can, however, safely send a reactivation request or reactivate an address. Just click on the "View History" link for a specific address in the bouncing list, and you'll get a page with a button to "Send Reactivation Request" or "Reactivate Now".
