The McDonnell Douglass F-4E Phantom II is a large, sometimes carrier based fighter aircraft. It has a unique delta design, much different from other delta wing aircraft, like the Rafale M. The United States is well accustomed to the high speed bomber interceptor, it can only, in the original design, carry short range Sidewinders and medium range Sparrow missiles. The F-4E, fortunately put a standard 20mm cannon on it. In Ace Combat 04, this is the first aircraft assigned.
