Ace Combat 4: comona is the fourth Ace Combat game. It was released in 2001 and is for PlayStation 2.
Plot
Ace Combat 4 takes place in 2004. It is told in a letter to Mobius 1 by a man who was a child during the Usea War. After the fall of the Ulysses 1994 XF-04 asteroids crash, Erusea has blitzed the continent of Usea. On the final day of Summer, the boy was walking to school when he saw several fighters dogfighting. Two of them got close, and one used his guns to shoot down the other. This aircraft crashed into the boy's house and killed his parents. As the winning fighter turned around to confirm his kill, the boy saw a large thirteen in yellow on the Su-37.
It is September of 2004, and Erusea has taken nearly all of the Usea continent in the Usea War. ISAF, an alliance of many nations, is waging a war against Erusea but has nearly been defeated. A fighter pilot with the callsign Mobius 1 (the player) gets into the war, and attempts to turn the tides of the battle.
