A helicopter is a type of aircraft. It uses its rotor to hover. Although they are not designed for air-to-air combat, they can be used as gunships to attack ground targets. Unlike fixed-wing aircraft, it only takes one AIM-9 Sidewinder to shoot down a helicopter.
