Rendezvous is the fifth mission in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War.
Mission description
After the Yuktobanian attack on the 3rd Osean Naval Fleet at St. Hewlett, three Osean aircraft carriers, the Kestrel, Buzzard, and Vulture are meeting in the Eaglin Straits to form a counterattack base against Yuktobania. Wardog squadron is tasked with defending the carriers with other Osean aircraft.
First mission objective
The first mission objective is for Wardog to protect the three aircraft carriers with other Allied aircraft. However, they must leave. Helping wardog is Osean F-14 Tomcat pilot Marcus Snow. Later, several Yuktobanian naval aircraft attack the carriers. Blaze (the player) and Wardog squadron must protect them.
Second mission objective
After the enemy fighters have been dealt with, Yuktobanian submarine Scinfaxi attacks with burst missiles. In order to avoid damage from this missiles, the player must fly above 5,000 feet. The attack destroys the Buzzard and Vulture along with several other ships and aircraft.
