Shattered Skies is the eighth mission of Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies. ISAF is going to launch a satellite into orbit to spy on Erusea. To stop this, Erusian forces attack. ISAF pilots and the player must stop them. Some of these enemies are Yellows.
The battle
Early in the battle, the player must down a certain amount of enemy fighters, which are spread out over a wide area. After that is done, the player must intercept several B-2 Spirit bombers. Because they are stealth, they are difficult to detect on radar. After they are show down, the player may shoot down more enemy fighters. The launch can also be witnessed.
Notes
- At 40,000 feet, an SR-71 Blackbird patrols the battlefield. It is visible briefly in the start of the mission.
- If a Yellow gets hit, all the other Yellows will retreat.
- In the area, there is an E-767 and KC-10 Stratotanker in the area.
