Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War is the sixth Ace Combat game. It was released in 2006, and takes place in 1995. It details the story of a great war, the Belkan war, that took place in all of the eastern countries.
Story
The story begins as a documentary and how in 1995, Belka had economic problems and let their eastern territory become independent, called Ustio. But when Ustio discovered natural resources, Belka attacked their neighbors.
A man being interviewed, Larry "Solo Wing Pixy" Foulke spoke about a legendar fighter pilot named Cipher, whom Pixy flew with in Galm team. He described their first mission, intercepting B-52 Bombers headed for their base. He also described the first time they encountered an elite Belkan squadron, over Area B7R, also called "The Round Table."
Later in the story, Cipher and Pixy meet a new pilot, Patrick James who flew an F-16 Fighting Falcon.
On a mission, they are attacked by Excalibur, a Belkan laser that shoots down several aircraft. Although they are able to escape, they later destroy the laser.
Later over B7R, a large furball was create in which Pixy, Cipher, and James all survived and managed to take out a Belkan squadron.
