The large, bulky, and slow A-10 Thunderbolt II is a large low level ground attack fighter. Back when it was developed, it was to destroy Soviet tanks coming out of the Fulda gap in Germany, luckily, the Soviets broke up. The design is much different considering other attackers. The engines are placed behind the fuselage, above and in front of the stabilizers. It boasts a 30mm Gating Cannon to penetrate tank armor.
