Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies is the fourth Ace Combat game. It details the country of Erusea invading its neighboring countries, and a pilot named Mobius 1 fighting the Erusians. It also tells the story of a boy at the time during the war. The story is told through his letter to Mobius 1. How he knew one of the best pilots, Yellow 13, the leader of Yellow squadron.
