The [[Osea]]n Army is staging an operation with the intention of pushing towards the [[Yuktobania]]n capitol. The ''[[Hrimfaxi]]'', a ''[[Scinfaxi]]'' class [[submarine]], is laucnhing ballistic missiles at the Oseans from the [[Razgriz Straits]]. Another submarine, a transport, is heading towards the ''Hrimfaxi'' to re-supply it. [[Wardog squadron]]'s mission is to destroy the ''Hrimfaxi'' while it is surfaced and re-supplying. The squadron cannot go above 1,000 feet, or the will be detected.

Even if the player does not exceed 1,000 feet, Wardog is detected anyway. [[Blaze]] (the player) must attack the ''Hrimfaxi'' and the [[UAV]]s launched from it. During the mission, ''Hrimfaxi'' repeatedly surfaces and resurfaces in different locations. If the player completed the mission, Wardog squadron earns the nickname, "the Demons of Razgriz."
