Prologe: The Gospel Truth

Tony Jay walked through an ancient gallery full of statues and vases. “Long ago, in the System Mainframe, there was a golden age of powerful gods and extraordinary heroes,” NL narrated. “And the greatest and strongest of all these heroes was the mighty AC.”

NL pointed to a vase with a Picture that familiar AC we Know and Love.

“But what is the measure of a true hero?” NL asked the readers. “Ah, that is what our story is Thought up by a lunch”

"AC, No Limit 5, Whoever Wrote the Story, All Sat down."

“Will you listen to him?” A voice asked irritably, cutting in.

“Hey, who cut in?!” Tony Jay asked, now annoyed. He looked on the top of the vase and saw the painting of 5 girls in purple robes moving. This wasn’t a surprise to him, since he was an all-powerful superhero.

The first girl was an Asian Waterbender girl with brown hair and brown eyes. Her name is Katara.

The second girl was Ranamon.

The third girl was a Tamaranean girl with orange hair and green eyes. Her name is Starfire.

The fourth girl was another Japanese rockstar girl that had blue, gothic hair and blue eyes. Her name was Yumi Yoshimura.

The fifth girl was also a Japanese girl with long pink hair and pink eyes. Her name was Ami Onuki.

“He’s makin’ the story sound like some Greek tragedy,” Ranamon continued, holding up a sad theatre mask.

“Lighten up, dude,” Yumi agreed.

“We’ll take it from here, TJ,” Starfire smiled.

“You go, girls,” Tony Jay said as he walked out of the gallery to get ready for his next scene.

“We are the Muses,” Katara said to the readers as she gestured to other four girls. “Goddesses of the arts and proclaimers of heroes.”

“Heroes like AC!” Ami added.

Ranamon slides down to the face of Danny’s painting. “You mean Hunk-C! Ooh, I’d love to make some sweet music with him…” Ranamon hummed.

“Our story actually begins long before Danny,” Katara said, after giving Kimi an angry look. “Two Weeks ago…”

Katara, Kimi, Starfire, Yumi and Ami: Back when Mainframe was new,

it's Twin City was down on its luck.

And everywhere gigantic brutes

called D-Mons ran amok!

They past a moving vase of a Plasmus, X-Tremebob Square Pants and Gigabyte destroying the world.

Ranamon: It was a nasty place, Shugah!

There was a mess wherever you stepped.

Starfire: Where chaos reigned and earthquakes

and volcanoes never slept!

Ami and Yumi: And then along Came Nux.

They Past a Blue Haired Boy in a White Tunic

Ranamon: He Added Robotboy to to the Script!

Robotboy is Seen Super-Activating!

All: He Zapped

The D-Mon are then locked into another dimension with gates made with lightning.

Katara: Locked those Doseblams in a vault!

All: They're trapped!

Ami And Yumi: And on his own stopped chaos in its tracks.

All: The guy was too type

Chapter 1: Mii Channel

Darkness in its fullest form, that’s what it was; darkness that longed to expand, to grow, to cover, to change, to control, and to destroy. It started on a happy little planet of people that spent all of their time having fun. Fun for them consisted of games of baseball, golf, bowling, tennis, and friendly boxing matches. They would play musical instruments and exercise for fun, loving the competition, but no one ever got too competitive.

Here the people called each other Miis. No matter what their first name was, they all shared the last name of Mii. The Miis were a happy and content people, living in a paradise. Until one Mii became bored with the day-to-day life he lived, he looked to the stars and wanted more. The other Miis would sometimes listen to him in fascination, but in the end they’d smile and leave him alone to his thoughts. This Mii began building and wasn’t seen for quite some time by the other Miis. Then one day, as the sun was rising and the Miis were awakening to go out and enjoy their games and their music, a loud and unfamiliar noise could be heard.

The usually bright sunny morning sun was hidden behind something. Looking up the Miis weren’t sure what it was. Then it came closer. It was a living thing, or at least it seemed alive, it moved and it definitely had senses as when someone spoke up it looked at them. “Welcome to Mii Channel!” said a Mii. The Miis looked at this visitor, it was cone shaped with a red and green coloring. The only facial features seen were too yellow eyes surrounded by an unnatural darkness.

The Miis only watched in amusement and amazement at this spectacle before them as the visitor said no words. Instead, a large orb dropped to the ground, this odd ‘thing’ had been carrying it up until then. The Miis attention turned there. Then two more strangers appeared, these were robots with similar ‘eyes’ to that of the first stranger. They moved to either side of the strange dropped orb and pulled on it. From within a clock was visible, the unsuspecting Miis gathered around, curious of this totally new thing in their world. The clock’s countdown began.

“I bid farewell to you” came a voice from the original stranger. The Miis looked back up again. “This world has made me quite bored, there must be better things out there to be discovered, and I shall find them all, and you shall help me” said the creature. The Miis weren’t sure what it was talking about, it spoke as if it knew them their whole lives. “Who are you?” asked one of the Miis. “You can call me the Ancient Minister, for I am answering the call from beyond the stars, and I shall bring you and all others who live in such a mundane existence out of it, by force if necessary” he said.

Just then the countdown finished its completion. Darkness spread from a tiny little orb, to one so large that it enveloped all of the Miis, and then their entire planet!

Starfire Appeared "If there's one Evil Subspace Villian you didn't wanna mess up with, it's The Ancient Minister!"

"'Cause he had an evil plan." adds Arial.

Cut to A.M. Floating far from the Mii Planet!

Ami and Yumi: He ran the Subspace Realm

But though Lost souls were dull and uncouth

A bunch of souls that belonged to Miis climbed onto the boat The Ancient Minister Added to the script for some Reason and grabbed him. Annoyed, he blasted them back.

Ami and Yumi: He was mean as he was ruthless

Pan to the Subspace Covered Mii Channel. The Miis vanished, and now in their place grayish green bodied forms stood, with darkness for arms and legs. The friendly faces of the Miis were gone; all that was left were eyes, red eyes with no emotion in them.

Ranamon: Some folks had Nasty Fates

Starfire: Turned into Primid if Not so Strong!

All: All that no ryming seems inposs'ble

But 'dat da Gospel Truth

They Pass X-Trembob Squarepants, the Ancient Minister tossed the Beast a Steak.

He had a plan to shake things up

“It has begun” the Ancient Minister said.

And thats the gospel truth

Chapter 2: Mario

The Italian plumber brothers, Mario and Luigi, were off on yet another adventure. Bowser had kidnapped Princess Peach again, and it was up to the heroes to reclaim her from his evil claws. They marched onward across the ash-covered Koopa Kingdom, ridding the world of Goombas, Koopas, Bullet Bills, and several other enemies from their path as they went. It was then their first real obstacle appeared in their path, right there; blocking the bridge to Bowser’s Castle was a chain chomp.

Mario had fought this enemy; he knew how to handle this foe. Pulling a green box from who knows where, Mario changed from his regular form into Metal Mario! “I will keep him busy, you open the door Luigi” Mario told his younger brother, who nodded in reply and made his way to the door. Pulling out a fire flower, he began burning the door down. Mario’s metal wore out and Luigi and him hurriedly rushed inside. Their second obstacle met them inside; it was none other than Kamek!

“You Mario brothers have caused me enough havoc over the years, this time you’re done for” he told them and waved his magic wand. Mario was swift and pulled out his yellow cape and quickly flung the magical attack back at his enemy. “Nooo!” Kamek cried as he was turned into a frog, quickly hopping away.

“Hurry Mario, Peach is still being held by Bowser!” Luigi warned, Mario nodded and the two continued on their way. Dodging thwomps along the way they realized they were nearing their target as the heat from the lava in Bowser’s throne room could be felt beneath their feet. That’s when another obstacle presented itself. “Not so fast Mario brothers!” came a sinister voice from in front of them. It was Waluigi, joined by his older brother Wario! Waluigi pulled out a bob-omb and tossed it straight for Luigi. The green plumber however was quick and caught it, much to Waluigi’s surprise, and threw it right back at the purple clad perpetrator. Blasting those two through the roof. Mario and Luigi continued onward into the next room.

“Why you lousy Princess! How dare you!” Bowser said as the brothers walked in to see the Princess tossing turnips at the large reptile captor. “Hand the Princess over Bowser!” Mario cried out upon entering. Bowser turned and his agitation turned to complete anger, but he managed to smile. “It’s time we end this you pathetic plumbers!” Bowser said, then leapt into the air, planning to fall right on top of them! “Luigi, let’s do this together!” Mario told his brother, who readily prepared himself. Just as Bowser came soaring down on top of them, the two plumbers leaped up to meet him, their hands stretched upward.

The impact was fantastic! Bowser was sent flying through the roof of his castle just as Wario and Waluigi had before him. The Mario brothers landed back on their feet. “Now to rescue the Princess” Luigi yet again reminded his brother. But when they turned to see Peach, she had already opened her cage, smiling at them. “That’s okay boys, you’ve done enough for today. Let’s go back to the castle for some cake” she said, to which they happily agreed.

Meanwhile, Bowser, Waluigi, and Wario stood on a lone piece of ground, surrounded by hot lava, they moved their feet continuously to keep them from burning too much. “Oh.. I lost to those losers!” Wario said as he angrily pouted to the others. “I’ll get that Luigi yet, just you wait” Waluigi added into the pity party. “Shut up you two, what’s that?” Bowser asked as a strange cone shaped dot approached them. The closer it got, the more they could make out.

This was none other than the Ancient Minister, he had traversed the skies and found himself on the nearest life-sustaining planet, which was the one, that Mario, Bowser, and the others lived. “What planet is this?” he asked of the defeated trio. “Who wants to know?” Wario asked. “Yeah?” Waluigi added. “I am the Ancient Minister, and I have traveled across the stars and came here. I long for knowledge, for change, and for power” he said. “Join the crowd” Bowser growled to him.

“It seems the three of you have found yourselves in a situation” the minister stated. “It was that no good Mario” Wario stated. “And Luigi” Waluigi piped in. “Mario and Luigi?” the minister continued, wanting knowledge, as he himself had stated. “They are a pair of plumbers that live with Princess Peach and the Toads in the Mushroom Kingdom. We’ve all tried to take them down before and we thought if we teamed up we’d succeed, but it didn’t work out” Bowser griped.

“Hmm.. it seems I could help you out, if you’re willing to help me” the minister suggested. The three of them looked intrigued, but suspicious as well. “And what do you want us to do?” Bowser asked. The Ancient Minister was pleased and began to explain his plans to them.

Meanwhile, Mario, Luigi, and Peach arrived back at the castle to an onslaught of applause and cheers from the toads. Toad, Peach’s top servant, and Toadette, Toad’s girlfriend, appeared alongside of Toadworth, the oldest and most respected of the Toads, in front of the throne room’s door inside Peach’s castle. “Welcome back!” Toadsworth said happily as they joined the group. “Thank you Toadsworth, Toad, could you have the other toads bring in some dessert for my heroes?” Peach asked. “Okay!” Toad said and ran off to do just that, with Toadette quick behind him.

From inside the throne room Daisy and Rosalina appeared. “Welcome back sister!” they told Peach. Daisy and Rosalina were princesses of other kingdoms and originally had shown up for their sister’s birthday party but discovered that Bowser had kidnapped her. “I hope you’re alright” Rosalina asked. “Of course, Mario, Luigi, and I can handle Bowser” she said, adding herself into the group on purpose. As they began celebrating though, Toad rushed in, followed swiftly by Toadette of course. “Princesses! We are under attack again!” Toad said with a terrified look on his face.

“Bowser wouldn’t dare risk fighting us again, right boys?” Peach asked them, Mario and Luigi half-heartedly smiled, but they wondered over their attacker. “It’s not Bowser! It’s some new enemy” Toad warned them. Without further discussion Peach got up from her chair and raced to the stairway to the tallest spire in the castle, followed soon by the rest of the group. There, Peach was in shock. An army of darkness covered beings with grayish green bodies and red eyes were swarming the outside of her castle! “Mario, who are they?” Peach asked. Mario looked and did not recognize them, however if they were attacking the castle they couldn’t be friendly. “Luigi, we must fight them off!” Mario stated. “Let’s go” Luigi told his brother in approval as they leaped down into the swarm.

The brothers spun around in tornado like fashion, flinging the enemies backward, but unlike the goombas or koopas, thee things got back up and came at them again! The brotherly duo weren’t sure how to handle this enemy; they were outside of their element here. “They need help!” Peach stated, and before Toad could stop her she had opened up her parasol and was floating down into the fray. Toad leapt down, “Princess!” he cried, wanting to help her. One of these creatures took a swing at Peach, only to hit Toad who jumped in the way. “No!” he cried, protecting her from harm. Peach smiled but wasted no time and pulled out some turnips and began throwing them.

Daisy, Rosalina, Toadette, Toadsworth, and the rest of the castle inhabitants watched from above in fear for their friends. “Hahaha, there’s no hope for you this time” the voice of Bowser said from behind them all. Sure enough it was Bowser and he held some odd contraption in his claws. An odd beam shot out and enveloped Rosalina. Where she had been standing, now stood a small statue like replica of her. Daisy, Toadette, and Toadsworth soon followed.

“Mario, look!” Peach cried and pointed up to the castle roof where Bowser now stood in plain sight. “This time you’re mine for sure Mario!” Bowser laughed and pointed the strange device at Mario. The plumber pulled a star out and when the beam hit him it bounced off and hit one of the enemies! Bowser growled in rage. Mario, Luigi, and Peach however looked to see what happened to the odd enemy, as it was now a statue of its former self.

“Luigi, Princess, follow me!” Mario told them, the plumber then turned around and made a path through the enemies. “Where are we going Mario? What about the others?” Peach asked. “We need help Princess, once we have help we will return to face Bowser!” Mario told her as they raced onward. Mario took out his cape, Luigi a leaf that granted him the flying raccoon tail, and Peach her parasol, and the three of them took to the skies heading for the ocean.

As a Shoe-Wearing figure passed by Rosalina, Now a cold, lifeless Trophy, he tapped the trophy base and a light engulfs Both the trophy and the figure

Chapter 3: Yoshi's Island

Paranoia was rampant as Mario, Luigi, Peach, as well as Toad who was holding tight to Peach’s dress, arrived upon the large island of the Yoshis. The yoshis were running around frantically when one stopped, noticing the bunch. “Mario! You’ve got to help! Wario has invaded the island and is turning us into statues!” one Yoshi cried and then went back to running.

“Oh no, Wario is with Bowser and is turning others into statues as well?” Mario asked, “We need to find Yoshi” Peach told him, trying to get his mind off the bad news at hand. The trio, with Toad, marched onward through the island. Just up ahead they heard movement, Luigi pulled a fireflower and prepared to fire, when out came none other than four very recognizable faces. “Yoshi!” Mario cried with happiness at the sight of his friend, his joy continued at two of the other faces. “Mallow! Geno!” Mario went on, having not seen those two even longer than not having seen Yoshi. The last face was that belonging to a rival of Yoshi’s named Boshi.

“What are you doing here?!” all eight of them asked each other, mainly directed at those that were not Yoshis. “Bowser invaded the Mushroom Kingdom and has taken my castle” Peach said, holding back the tears. “The same is happening in Mallow’s home among the clouds, as well as in my forest. But it was Waluigi that invaded my land” Geno stated. “I didn’t recognize the one that attacked, but when I find him.. oh.. mama.. papa..” Mallow said and began to cry, causing rain to fall. “Mallow, now is not the time for tears” Geno told the youngster, who calmed down quickly, also calming the rain.

“Where is Wario?” Mario asked Yoshi. “Are you planning on attacking him Mario?” Yoshi asked, Mario nodded. “We shall join you” Geno said, speaking for their group. “Me too Mario” Luigi added. “We will all fight” Peach piped in. “No Princess, you should not get involved” Geno spoke up. “I have just as much right and ability to fight as any of you and my sisters, my kingdom, and my friends are all involved, I am going to fight!” Peach insisted. No one decided to argue with her.

Yoshi and Boshi led the group back toward where they’d last seen Wario. Instead of seeing him continue his maddening pursuit of encasing everyone in stone, they saw Waluigi who was riding in Bowser’s clown car, joined by a stranger whom Mallow recognized, as well as Wario. “I couldn’t get Geno” Waluigi pouted. “This Mallow you told me of evaded my capture as well” the stranger, who was in fact the Ancient Minister, said. “I haven’t found Yoshi or Boshi here” Wario stated. “What about Mario, where is Bowser?” Waluigi asked.

“He is preparing this world for complete assimilation, so there’s no need to worry about Mario or any of those that troubled you from the Mushroom Kingdom, nor those that escaped us. However, if they are as powerful as you all suggest they are, they would make excellent trophies” the minister stated. Just then Mallow made a rash move and dashed from the hiding spot. “You there! What did you do to my parents?! Where are they?!” Mallow demanded to know. The villainous trio turned to face him, it was Wario however that targeted the puffball with the strange gun.

In a flash, Boshi leapt in and took the hit straight on, saving Mallow, and turning Boshi into a statue, or a trophy as the minister referred to them. It was then that the others made themselves known. Mario, Peach, Toad, Luigi, Geno, and Yoshi all stood up. “Aha!” Waluigi said in exclamation and pulled his gun to target Luigi. Wario claimed his trophy of Boshi though, happy with himself for the moment.

“Who are you?” Mario asked the Ancient Minister. “I am the Ancient Minister, and I have come to claim this, as well as all worlds” he stated calmly. “Even now as we speak your entire planet is falling to the darkness, look!” he told them. Sure enough, a huge wave of darkness was approaching from where Mario and the others had just came from across the ocean. It was then that the red and blue clad plumber did something unexpected; he leaped into the Clown car with Waluigi, and threw him right out of it. He then waved for the others to get in, which they did.

“You shall not escape!” the minister called to them as they began to lift into the air. The darkness closed in, engulfing Wario, Waluigi, and the minister, it didn’t effect any of them though as they were controllers of the darkness. “We must regroup with Bowser, then we shall head after them” the minister stated and they were all lifted into the air by the ancient minister’s strange power.

Katara: "By the Time Rosalina Got Captain N128(Sora), They were too late."

Yoshi’s island, the Mushroom Kingdom, and even Bowser’s realm, which were once filled with various life forms were now replaced by those odd bodied creatures with red eyes, they all melted away into darkness and swarmed into something on the minister’s back, this left the entire planet devoid of all life save for Bowser, Wario, Waluigi, and the minister himself.

Ami and Yumi: Shrooma was Lifeless Now...

But Sence the heroes Outran the Dark

They Chased the Ancient Minister

So thank your Lucky Star

All: The Light of Good then Shrank!

Innosent Sprites turned into Primid

Although it May Not Seem all Poss'ble

Chapter 4: Donkey Kong

The not so serene jungle, filled with squawks from birds, various noises from reptiles, amphibians, and mammals joining in with them, creating a noisy melody. All of this was silenced though with the sound of gun in the distance. “Get back here you darn dirty apes!” came a loud angry voice. It belonged to King and Captain K. Rool, leader of the Kremlin Krew. He was in hot pursuit of a large ape named Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong was the head of this island known only as Donkey Kong Country, and K. Rool wanted to take Donkey Kong’s prized possession, his stock of bananas. K. Rool had failed on numerous occasions to obtain the bananas, and then he tried trapping Donkey Kong and his family, but that failed as well thanks to Donkey Kong’s little brother Diddy Kong and his girlfriend Dixie Kong.

K. Rool was determined to finish it this time, he was going to kill Donkey Kong, with him completely out of the way he was certain the others would fall. What he didn’t expect was an ambush. As Donkey Kong ran forward away from the powerful gun, K. Rool followed behind right into a trap. “Now!” yelled an old monkey named Cranky Kong. Then a whole bunch of Kong’s appeared and began throwing coconuts at the large reptilian attacker. K. Rool was caught completely by surprise and was pummeled by the coconuts. In the end he was forced to retreat. “I’ll get you someday Donkey Kong, and all of you Kongs!” K. Rool yelled as he ran away. Donkey Kong climbed up into the treetops to meet his large family.

“Whew, I was beginning to think I was a goner” Donkey Kong told them as he rested at last. “We couldn’t let that happen DK” Diddy said as he swung over to meet him. “K. Rool will never learn” Wrinkly Kong, an old female ape stated as she strained her eyes to see K. Rool running into the distance. “Maybe, but we’ll be here to deal with him each time” Dixie piped up from beside of her, which got a pat on the head from Wrinkly. “Let’s all head to my place, bananas for everyone!” Donkey Kong stated with a large grin, which gained grins from everyone else as well.

As the Kongs made their way back to DK’s home, an odd shaped ‘thing’ came flying downward toward the jungle. It was the Clown car, Mario and company had managed to traverse space and arrive in Donkey Kong Country. Mario poorly landed the craft, but at least it was on solid ground once more. “What is this place?” Luigi asked. “It’s beautiful!” Peach said, as she was all starry-eyed looking around at the vibrant colors of the jungle. “Do you think we will be safe here Mario?” Mallow spoke up as he hobbled out of the car with the others, but ended up falling on his face.

“Can’t be sure, but it has to be better than getting turned into one of those weird creatures” Mario stated, still looking around for any signs of trouble, but found none. That’s when K. Rool came running by, Mario was shocked as the stranger had a similar appearance to Bowser, being a large bodied bipedal reptile and all. K. Rool stopped then and turned around, looking at the odd group. “I don’t believe I’ve ever seen any of you before” he stated, his mind already formulating a plan. “No, we are from the Mushroom Kingdom, far away across the stars” Peach spoke up.

“Hmm.. you don’t say” K. Rool stated as he rubbed his chin, an idea clicked then. “Well, welcome to K. Rool Kountry” he said, “I am K. Rool, rightful ruler of this land. But I sadly have been dethroned by a tyrant and his ruthless family” K. Rool said, showing the most pathetic pitiful face he could manage. “I too have recently been dethroned, I am Princess Peach” Peach announced to him and lent him her hanky, to which he blew his nose all over it, she decided not to take it back.

“If only I could get my kingdom back from those cruel Kongs” K. Rool said, playing the part up real good. “Mario, perhaps we should help him?” Yoshi suggested, his heart going out to his fellow reptile. “I’m not sure Yoshi, we have some problems of our own” Mario stated. “If I was restored to my throne, I might be able to help you with your problem” K. Rool said. “Mario, perhaps these Kongs work with that stranger that took over my kingdom as well?” Peach suggested. That was enough for Mario. “Alright then, we’ll investigate and see what we can do” Mario told them all, which cheered the supposedly sorrowful K. Rool smile instantly. “Oh thank you! You have no idea what you’re doing for me!” he said, happy that his plan was working. “This way” he said , heading back the way he had just run from.

“So what of these people that attacked your land?” K. Rool asked, curious if someone might try and attack his kingdom once he obtained it from the Kongs. Peach then told him the whole story of Bowser, Wario, and Waluigi, and then of the Ancient Minister and his strange helpers and what he had said and what he had done. This intrigued K. Rool, but he acted sad, playing the part of good-natured former ruler well.

Meanwhile, more floating objects descended from the sky, it was the Ancient Minister, flanked by Bowser, Wario, and Waluigi. They landed on the top of Kong Mountain. From there the minister looked down and could feel the jungle that thrived with life. “We shall spread out and search for any possible people of great skill” he told the other three.

“This would go a lot faster with my lackeys” Bowser griped. From the back of the Ancient minister a cloud of darkness appeared, several forms came from it. “If you want some of your traditional help, you shall have it, if you think you’ll be able to accomplish more with them” he addressed Bowser. From the darkness appeared some faces that would have been all too familiar to Mario. Kamek in his wizard form once more appeared, alongside of Birdo, Wart, King Boo, Petey Piranha, Bowser Jr. and the other seven Koopalings. “There, they should be more than enough to help you” the minister told them all. With that the group split up and began searching the island for anyone they thought might be important. The minister meanwhile prepared another circle to explode this world as well.

“K. Rool! You dare come to my home?!” Donkey Kong asked as he saw the reptile approaching with an unfamiliar group behind him. “You mean MY home Donkey Kong! Your reign of tyranny ends now!” K. Rool said, remembering to play the part in front of the others. The Kongs weren’t sure what he was talking about. “If you want a fight K. Rool we’ll give you one!” Diddy chime din, looking down at the group below. “Are these monkeys the one giving you so much trouble?” Mallow asked. “Yes, these are the villains!” K. Rool told them. Mario studied them, they didn’t seem anything like the ones who had attacked them, he didn’t see any of those odd guns either, and he was beginning to have his doubts.

A coconut that Dixie had grabbed up slipped out of her grasp just then and fell down, hitting Mario on the head. “See! They attack us!” K. Rool said. “You shall not win tyrants!” Geno said and with that he jumped in the air, stretched out his arm, and fired off his finger shot. Pellets flung out, pelting the Kongs. Diddy leapt down, not about to take that. He leapt on top of Mallow, squishing the puffball down quite a bit. Peach, shocked at first, frowned and pulled out her handy tennis racket and swatted the monkey off of Mallow. Dixie took to the sky and smacked Geno down to the others. Yoshi pulled out an egg and tossed it up, scaring Wrinkly Kong away.

By now Mario got back up from the initial ‘attack’, only to see Donkey Kong now standing in front of him. Mario pulled out a fire flower and fired away. Donkey Kong dodged though, grabbing hold of a vine, he then dropped down to land on Mario. The plumber was prepared this time and dodged the attack from above, causing DK to land on the ground, and then get his backside burnt by Mario’s flower, causing the large ape to holler out.

“Hold on DK, help is on the way!” Funky Kong called out, preparing to send some weapons his way, but he never got the chance. Instead, Funky Kong vanished and was replaced by statue of himself, he had been turned into a trophy. “Funky!” Candy Kong yelled as she headed over to find him in his new form. She found a dark Cannon in her Face, "DK, Catch!" She soon followed, along with the other Kongs, save for DK, Diddy, and Dixie. “Looked like they were beating you up Mario” Bowser said as he made himself visible from within the bushes.

Mario and DK, along with the others turned to Bowser, all still in fighting stance. “Had to chase you across the stars, but you’re outnumbered and outdone this time Mario” Bowser said, pointing the device directly at the plumber. The beam shot out, and Mario used his trusty cape to thwart the attack, sending it straight into a nearby Rhino who had arrived due to the commotion. “Rambi!” Diddy exclaimed. Donkey hollered in anger as he saw his family and now his trusty friend Rambi were all turned into these statues. He leapt up and attacked Bowser. The two began to fight it out. A punch to Bowser’s face, some flames to Donkey Kong’s body, it seemed as though Donkey Kong would lose too, that was until Bowser found himself getting burned, Mario was using his fireflower to help the ape.

The eight koopalings that had come with him were out collecting the trophies of the Kongs and Rambi. The figure then shoved Iggy, Who was holding Tiny Kong's Trophy. The Trophy Base Landed on his face, Resulting In the same flash of Light that Can Blind A Koopa for An hour. In all of this madness, the Ancient minister flanked by his lackeys from the Mushroom Kingdom arrived on the scene. “Enough of this pathetic resistance, you will all be assimilated, just as the other worlds” the minister told them all. “Assimilated?” K. Rool asked, this was all very interesting for him and he was looking for a way to swing things in his favor.

The ancient minister could sense K. Rool’s heart was filled with bad intentions, this pleased him, “You, if you wish to join me crocodile along with the dragon and the Wario brothers, you may” the minister offered. This caused DK, Bowser, and Mario to stop in their fight. K. Rool wasn’t stupid, he knew there was no way he could team up with the Kongs, and his new acquaintances would certainly figure out his evil intentions sooner or later. But this stranger seemed to know exactly what he was doing and where he was going, and more importantly, had the ability to get there. “Very well, I shall join in your numbers, on one condition” K. Rool insisted, and then went on, “That I shall get the privilege of destroying Donkey Kong”

The minister nodded and things were now set in motion, K. Rool teamed up with the enemy of Mario’s party, and Donkey Kong was helping to fight Bowser who was a long time enemy of Mario. Just then an explosion could be heard from the top of DK Mountain, calling everyone’s attention upward. From there, emitted that same darkness that had just stolen away the Mushroom Kingdom’s inhabitants, and now it was sweeping across Donkey Kong Country.

“Quick, back to the clown car!” Luigi insisted. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Geno, and Mallow all went to leave, but Mario paused. “Come with us!” Mario told DK and the other two. The minister and all of his cohorts began to focus their beams on those retreating. Mario tossed a star to Donkey Kong which made him invincible, he realized this when the beam hit him and it didn’t hurt him at all, however it did bounce off and hit Expresso, an ostrich friend of DK’s. Sad over another friend lost, DK managed to hold it together though and grabbed Diddy and Dixie in his paws and went running after the others.

The whole lot of them climbed into the clown car and Luigi started the odd contraption up as they flew off to the atmosphere. This time however the Ancient minister was much quicker, he collected the darkness, leaving this planet barren as well, and followed after them with his cohorts, with the addition of K. Rool now.

The group huddled inside of the clown car was quite cramped as they made their way to the nearest habitable planet, none of them were sure what to expect.

Chapter 5: Star Fox/Metroid

“Fox! We’ve received unusual readings” Peppy said over the intercom, waking the sleeping leader of the Star Fox team from a somewhat peaceful slumber. “Peppy.. how many times have I told you not to wake me up?” he grumbled in reply. “Sorry Fox, but this is important. If these readings are correct, then a domino effect could be happening” Peppy said. Fox poked an ear and the tip of his muzzle out from under a pillow. “What are you talking about?” Fox asked with a somewhat pouting voice. “Come to the deck Fox, I’ll explain everything” Peppy stated.

Fox grumbled to himself as he scrambled to stand up and began pulling on his uniform. As he walked out of his quarters he pushed his fur down as it was messed up from the brief amount of sleep he had gotten. “Alright Peppy, what’s the big emergency?” Fox asked as he entered the deck. “Fox, glad you’re up. Look at these readings” Peppy said, drawing Fox over to look at a computer screen module. “If these are correct, two planets in Sector N have very recently just lost all signs of life from them” Peppy explained. “How many lived on them?” Fox asked, reviewing the numbers again. “We’re not sure on specific numbers, but we do know that they were both heavily abundant, and then suddenly all life vanished” Slippy said from nearby who was doing something with the electronics, stuff that Fox would never bother with himself.

“Morning sleepy head” Krystal said as she walked in from behind him. Fox smiled at her when she stood beside of him, but he said nothing in reply. “Calm down love birds” Falco stated as he stepped in between them. “What’s up Peppy?” he added. “He can explain it to you on our way there, right now set a course for Sector N Slippy, we might get a chance to see some action” Fox said. With those words team Star Fox was off through outer space to find out what the disturbance was.

Elsewhere, another space voyager was picking up the readings as well. “This is Samus Aran to base, come in base” a young woman said over her intercom machine. “This is base here, go ahead Samus” they replied. “I’m picking up some very strange readings coming from a neighboring system” she explained. “Yes, there are some odd readings emitting from Sector N, system 64. You are picking them up as well?” the base asked. “Yes, I was hoping the readings were a mistake form my ship’s computer, but if you have received them as well. “Would you be willing to check on this?” asked the base. “I’m supposed to be transporting the space pirate Ridley to a maximum security prison on the home planet of the Galactic federation” Samus stated and paused. “I’m not too far away, I’ll check up on it” she added finally. “Alright, be careful Samus, base out”

It was then that the intergalactic space ship belonging to the bounty hunter Samus Aran changed course for Sector N, system 64. She knew that something serious most go on to make these planets instantly lose their large populations, and she was going to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Chapter 6: Kirby

In sleepy little Dreamland, a pink puffball named Kirby was enjoying a peaceful day of swimming, enjoying a relaxing day for once. As he finished playing around he rested by floating on the water and gazing up to the sky. That’s when the sun became eclipsed, shadow fell upon Kirby and Dreamland itself. Opening his eyes Kirby recognized what had caused this phenomenon. Meta-Knight’s ship, and it was crashing in the forest of Whispy Woods!

Hopping up from the water and into the air, Kirby puffed himself up and flew to where the ship was sure to crash. He was going to find out what could bring the ship of his rival down. Upon arriving he would discover Meta-Knight standing outside his ship cursing to himself. “Kirby? Quick, Dreamland, no.. all of Popstar is under attack!” Meta-Knight warned. “I was on my way to warn the King when even my mighty ship fell under attack, as you can see” he added, looking back at his smoking ship.

Kirby nodded and the two of them were off, running through the forest toward the castle of King Dedede. Along the way they were met with two problems. The first was Whispy Woods himself, the tree that had so often used its apples to harm others, especially Kirby. The second was a stranger that Kirby had never seen before, but Meta-Knight recognized him all too well. “You! I challenge you to a duel over the loss of my ship!” Meta-Knight insisted. Kirby looked at the stranger quizzically.

“Huh?” K. Rool said, turning around to face the two newcomers. “I’ll deal with you two soon enough, right now I’m busy” K. Rool said, shrugging them off. Kirby puffed up in anger from the insult, and Meta-Knight had steam coming from the top of his head. Before any action from the angered duo could take place though, Whispy would find himself being zapped by the odd machine that K. Rool now held. A moment later, the mighty apple tree was cut down to nothing more than a trophy. Both Kirby and Meta-Knight’s eyes widened as they had seen what could happen form an attack from that gun.

“Now then, you’re next” K. Rool stated turning the gun toward them. Another beam shot out at Meta-Knight. The dark soldier was much too fast though and he dashed with lightning reflexes away from it. Kirby puffed up and changed his form to that of a brick and fell from the sky on top of K. Rool. This knocked the crafty crocodile out for the moment, but he was already stirring. Kirby motioned to Meta-Knight that they needed to leave. “Yes, it is best that we get to the King” Meta-Knight agreed and they were off again, taking to the sky.

Meanwhile, at King Dedede’s castle, he was entertaining a visitor with Escargon and the Nightmare Enterprises Salesman. “So where did you say you were from again?” King Dedede asked. “I did not” the figure responded. “Well you’ve got to be from somewhere don’t you? Folks don’t just appear out of nothing you know” Dedede told him. “It is not important, what is important is where I’m going, and you seem like the type I’m looking for to help me get there”

“Oh yeah? Well I am quite handy with a mallet, but why should the King of the planet Popstar help you?” Dedede asked. “Because I can grant you complete and absolute control over all of your subjects, including this Kirby you’ve spoken of” the figure stated; this peaked Dedede’s interest. “You’ve got yourself a deal uh...” "The Ancient Minister, Our Then-Best Customer." The Salesguy said, butting in. "Yeah!" Then Escargon said, "Congrats on Joining a Guy Willing to Take out those Brats through assimilation!"

“Sire,” Meta-Knight said as he and Kirby ran into the castle belonging to the top penguin of the land. “a great threat has presented itself” he went on. “Meta-Knight, and Kirby too. I’m glad you both came here today” Dedede said, seeing the two of them running into his throne room and not hearing anything they said as his own plans clouded all of his senses. they recognized this look in the King’s eyes; he had some crazy scheme again, which meant trouble for all of Popstar as usual. "Uh, Oh." Said Tuff, "I Know that Look..."

“I was visited today by some hot head from space named the ancient something or other. And I he has given me, your King, the ability to solve all of Popstar’s problems” the King went on and then pulled out the odd gun. Tiff, Tuff, Kirby and Meta-Knight all became wide eyed at this action. “Sire, you have one of those as well?” Meta-Knight asked. “Of course I have one, I am the only one truly worthy of such a weapon after all. Now bow before your King” he stated, pointing the gun at Kirby. "I Knew it!" said Tiff

Meta-Knight however wrapped his cape around Kirby and himself and the two of them were soon away from the destruction the beam promised and were outside of the castle altogether. “We can’t depend on the King for any help, we must save Dreamland and all of Popstar by ourselves it would seem” he explained. Kirby however pointed frantically out to the west. From that direction a huge cloud of darkness was closing in on them "Oh, No! Kirby, it's catching up!" Said Tiff. Meta-Knight focused his vision on the area that the darkness touched and what became of things. He saw all life vanish and turn to darkness, leaving a barren wasteland of darkness in its wake.

Kirby then tugged on his cape and pointed to the east, the darkness was approaching from that direction as well! The same from the north and the south too! “We must flee now, but I do not have my ship” he told Kirby. Kirby was prepared though and pulled out a warp star, grabbing Meta-Knight, Tiff and Tuff. the two of them were soon headed to outer space, leaving behind Dedede’s castle, as it was envelope din darkness.

Elsewhere..

“Fox! A neighboring planet just experienced the same thing! All of it’s life forms are gone as far as the radar can tell” Slippy stated. “Do we have a visual?” Fox asked. “Visual coming online, now” Peppy stated. From the visual they could see the planet Popstar being enveloped in darkness. “Are there any signs of survivors at all?” Fox asked. “Scanning again Fox” Peppy said. “According to the reading there are three life forms still on the planet, two other forms are leaving it”. “Take us in Falco, I’ve got some questions for those two” Fox stated.

Not so far away..

“Hmm.. two creatures managed to get off of this planet” Samus said as she punched a few buttons. “Better go in-..” she stopped mid sentence as she spotted one of the oddest things she’d seen. Two overall wearing men, a small dinosaur type creature, a life size moving doll, a white puffball, a princess, and three apes, flying around in a strange craft with a clown face painted on it. Deciding this was too strange and the fact that this group was coming from the direction of the previously obliterated planet. Pressing a button a tractor beam shot out and pulled them group into the ship’s hold, where the ferocious Ridley also stood contained in a strong cell.

“I have some questions for you” Samus said, wearing all of her chozo suit save for the helmet as she approached the bunch of oddballs.

Chapter 7

Being forcibly pulled into the ship hold, Mario, DK, and the others weren’t sure what to expect from this place. “Who are you? Are you working for that Ancient Minister fellow as well?” Mario asked. Samus wasn’t sure what to think of that question. “I’ve never heard of an Ancient Minister before, so no. My ship detected a disturbance in this region of space and I’ve been given instructions to investigate” Samus explained.

A calming pause commenced. “So who are you and where are you from?” Samus questioned. “I am Princess Peach, this is my servant Toad. This is Mario and Luigi. Along with us is Yoshi, Geno, and Mallow” Peach explained. “And these three?” Samus continued, motioning to DK and the other two. “I’m Donkey Kong, and this is Diddy my brother and Dixie, his girlfriend” DK spoke up.

“And what about you, who are you?” Geno questioned. “I am Samus Aran, bounty hunter to the Galactic Federation. Usually I am going around stopping space pirates like him” she said, pointing to Ridley who growled at her from his cage. “Now, who is this Ancient Minister you speak of?” she asked. They then went ahead with the explanation of the whole ordeal, of how the ancient minister had teamed up with Bowser, Wario, Waluigi, and K. Rool. And then how his powers of darkness worked, specifically the darkness bombs that enveloped their worlds, and then how he could call dark copies of citizens from those worlds.

“Looks like you’re going to have to wait a while longer before you go on trial Ridley. I’m going to help you defeat this minister” Samus told them. This was good news for them all, but they were still not sure what they could do. At least they weren’t having to ride in the clown car though.

Meanwhile..

A similar explanation of things was occurring between Fox and the rest of his team as they rescued Kirby and Meta-Knight who had been flying through space. Meta-Knight told of King Dedede’s fall to darkness, he told about the darkness surrounding everything and obliterating all life, and then of the strange trophy gun. “Alright team, we need to investigate and isolate” Fox explained.

“Fox, you need to see this” Krystal stated as the screen revealed a large ship rising from the remnants of Popstar. “That’s MY ship!” Meta-Knight roared with outrage at what he was seeing. “It’s leaving the planet now” Falco said. “Let’s follow it, perhaps we can stop it’s next attack” Fox suggested, as Meta-Knight fumed in the background over someone else using his ship.

Chapter 8: Legend of Zelda

When one goes to sleep, they can forget that the world doesn’t stop just because they do, and when one is prone to sleeping for long periods of time, a lot can happen. Such was the case with a young man named Link. He was prone to falling asleep for very long periods of time, and each time he woke up, the world had changed drastically and he usually found himself in the middle of a global conflict. As he opened his eyes this time after sleeping, he would find out it would be no different this time.

Getting out of bed, Link walked outside to where he was quickly greeted by his fairy friend, “Hey!” she shouted to him, which immediately called his attention. “Something large has come down from the sky over Hyrule Castle!” Navi stated. Link strained his eyes in that direction but didn’t see anything peculiar, still if Navi said it, it had to be true, and so he set off to investigate. Climbing on his horse and with Navi at his side, Link headed for Hyrule.

Princess Zelda, ruler of Hyrule, paced around her throne room, she sensed some great danger was nearing, one that she had never faced before. And then the doors of her throne room were exploded open! As they fell down on either side, a tall, dark, and sinister man entered the room. “Princess Zelda, you’re looking radiant as usual” the man stated. As he neared, Zelda’s eyes widened, it was Ganondorf, the lord of darkness. “Din’s Fire” she cast and focused a ball of fire and flung it toward Ganondorf, he dodged, and grinned all the more as he approached her.

“You know you can not defeat me, especially now. I have come up with a plan that even you will not be able to overcome” he told her as he came right up to her and grabbed her wrist forcefully. “Hyrule, and everything in it, including you princess, are mine” he told her, holding her close to his body and staring into her eyes. “You will never win, L-” Zelda stopped as another shadow graced the door. “Huh!” came a familiar sound as a boomerang flew through the air and hit the hand that held Zelda.

Ganondorf turned around to see the all too familiar form of Link standing there as the boomerang returned. “Perfect, I shall finish both of you off right now” Ganondorf stated happily, with that he threw Zelda down in front of her throne, he then pulled a strange looking item from behind his back. He quickly pointed it at Zelda and it charged up. “Watch Out!” came the voice of Navi as she flew to Zelda’s aid, but in turn found herself frozen in place. Navi had vanished, and in her place now lay a statue.

“Accursed fairy!” Ganondorf said, angry that he had missed his intended target. “It matters little Ganondorf, remember the plan” came the voice of the Ancient Minister. “Huh?” Link said, as he had never seen this creature before, but if he sided with Ganondorf he must be an enemy. Zelda meanwhile stood up grabbing Navi’s statue, and went running toward Link. “We must leave, hurry” Zelda said, grabbing Link’s hand in hers as they ran from the castle.

Ganondorf chased after them, and the minister did not stop him, after all, if Ganondorf was successful then Link and Zelda would make excellent trophies. “If he fails, they’ll still be Primids, what power can stand against the likes of me? I have the populations of four worlds, and this and the others shall soon join it. I shall unite all under my rule” he said with a sinister glare. Seeing no reason to waste any more time in this place, the minister dropped the orb, to which the familiar robots pulled it apart, setting the countdown.

Elsewhere..

“Fox, we have problems, we’re under attack!” Peppy shouted. “Falco, Krystal, Slippy, let’s head out!” Fox stated, with that the four of them went running for the hanger bay. Kirby looked quizzically as to who it was that was attacking them. Appearing on the viewing screen was K. Rool, the one Meta-Knight and himself had seen in the forest. Along with him was a tougher looking reptilian, along with two human beings. “Come Kirby, we’re going to help them” Meta-Knight said as the ships of Fox and the others appeared on the screen as well as they fired at Fox and the others.

“No, you two wait here, they want you to go out there. I’ll go. ROB, take the controls will ya?” Peppy told the robot that did just that. Meta-Knight wasn’t satisfied, but Kirby and him remained inside, for now. “Hey Fox, let’s see if I still have the hang of this” Peppy said as he maneuvered his old arwing around. “Nice to see you joining us in battle again old timer” Falco remarked. Just then Bowser, the other reptile, targeted Falco’s ship. “Falco, do a barrel roll!” Peppy said. Falco turned to see the beam coming at him, usually not one to take advice, Falco let it go this time and barrel rolled to the side.

“This old timer can still be of use” Peppy said over the intercom. “Knock it off you two, we’ve got a job to do” Fox interrupted. Bowser, Wario, Waluigi, and K. Rool continued going around firing those strange beams at the ships. “I got one!” Slippy shouted as he successfully blasted Bowser, sending the dragon flying through space backward, but not destroyed. So excited over his success, Slippy didn’t notice that he had been targeted by Waluigi and Wario. Wario fired his first, Waluigi a moment later. “Slippy, do a barrel roll!” Peppy called out.

The toad caught sight of the beam from Wario and barrel rolled as told, which flung the beam straight at Peppy’s ship, turning the old hare and his arwing into a trophy. A second later, Slippy who thought he had only been targeted by one beam joined Peppy as a trophy. “Peppy! Slippy!” Fox cried out, horrified by what had just happened. “They won’t get away with this!” Falco warned and began chasing Waluigi down. Fox took Wario, and Krystal busied herself with K. Rool.

“Time to end this!” Fox stated, with that a bomb flung from his ship, right into the middle of the battle and blasted Fox, Wario, Falco, Waluigi, Krystal, and K. Rool away form each other. For the three not in ships they went flying away. K. Rool landed on the planet below that the minister himself had just went to. Wario and Waluigi went on either side, soaring off somewhere through outer space, just like Bowser before them.

Fox meanwhile listened to his alarm in his ship going off, however he managed to pull things together and stabilized. “Fox, readings are coming in that show the planet below us is experiencing the same phenomenon as the others before it, life forms are vanishing at an alarming rate” ROB the robot stated over the intercom. “Alright. ROB, I need you to tractor beam Peppy and Slippy back inside the ship..” Fox said, his speech was slowed for a bit as he thought of what had happened to his friends.

“Fox, you going to be alright?” Falco asked. “Don’t worry about it. The three of us have to get down to the planet, try to save who we can. ROB, I need you to find out where those four got blasted to” Fox said. “Confirmed, I will work on that right away” ROB said. “Alright team, we’re going in!” Fox stated as the three arwings headed down to the planet below. “We are going as well, come on Kirby” Meta-Knight said. ROB did not notice they were leaving until they were outside of the ship riding a warp star down to the planet.

Arriving, Kirby and Meta-Knight looked around, the place they’d landed was filled with shadows and darkness, and there didn’t seem to be any signs of intelligent life. Then they heard the sounds of a struggle nearby. Meta-Knight held a hand to his face as a sign to Kirby to keep quiet. Moving around some strange looking trees and looking through the dense fog they could see two figures, that of a beautiful female, and the other of a grotesque faced man, the man had apparently just hit the woman.

“I have returned Midna! And this time I shall make certain to destroy you and claim the Twilight realm for my own, forever!” the man warned and looked as though he were to attack her. Meta-Knight and Kirby intervened then. “Why do you harm this woman?” Meta-Knight asked, Kirby consoled the woman by holding her hand in his, she didn’t seem to know what to think of these odd creatures, but she seemed grateful for their arrival.

“It is no business of yours, but if you must know, she had taken over MY land and I am giving her the just punishment, the punishment that my kingdom requires for such acts of treason!” he said. “Lies!” the woman began, “This land belongs to me Zant!” Enraged, Zant went for an attack.. only to find himself attacked by the mighty sword of Meta-Knight several times. “ARGH!” Zant yelled, “HOW DARE YOU ATTACK ME!” From behind him a huge wave of darkness came flooding toward them, one that the two puffballs recognized from their own world. “Hold on!” Meta-Knight told her, pointing to hold Kirby, she did so. Zant chased after them but in the end the wave of darkness caught up with him and swallowed him in it, turning him to darkness along with everything else. Kirby, Meta-Knight, and the mystery woman headed up to the stars to dock in the Great Fox.

Fox meanwhile landed on the sands near a large bay area. As he prepared to exit the craft, a small green suited man with red shorts fell on top of his arwing. “What the?” Fox asked himself, opening the hatch and flinging the small man from his ship. “I don’t care what General Pepper might say, I’m using my blaster on this planet” Fox insisted pulling it out and preparing for anything.

“Who are you?” Fox asked. “Me? My name is Tingle! Tingle-Tingle, Kooloo-LIMPAH! I’m making and selling maps, would you be interested in one?” he asked. Fox rolled his eyes at the being, “No, I came here to save you from the darkness” Fox said. “Darkness? Don’t need saved from any darkness. But I wouldn’t mind being saved from that thing” Tingle said, pointing to the left of Fox where stood an odd creature. “Who are you?” Fox asked, but no answer was given. “He’s the Skull Kid, and he popped my traveling balloon” Tingle whined. Fox growled a bit in annoyance. “Enough already, I came here because darkness is approaching. When it gets here you will all be turned to nothing but darkness” Fox said.

“You there! Stop that skull kid! He stole my mask!” came the voice of a salesman who was apparently talking to Fox. The Skull Kid was wearing a very odd looking mask and didn’t seem as though he was about to rid himself of it as he hobbled away. “I don’t have time for this” Fox said grumpily, refusing to track down Skull Kid, or listen to the strange Tingle any longer. “I demand a rematch!” came a voice from behind Fox this time, it belonged to K. Rool who had been blasted to the planet only a moment ago. As K. Rool pulled the odd machine out again, Fox pulled his blaster out preparing to fight off the villain, but instead Skull Kid appeared from nowhere and jumped on Fox. The beam sent out by K. Rool hit Skull Kid, solidifying the odd creature and the mask along with him.

“I’ll get you yet mammal!” K. Rool roared, already resetting the gun. Grabbing the trophy of Skull Kid, and throwing Tingle into the hold, Fox decided to head out as the darkness cloud was now nearing their current position. He wondered if he should have left the annoying Tingle behind, but his conscience overcame him and he knew he’d done the right thing, he just wished he could have saved more. Down below he watched as the darkness covered the salesman and K. Rool, whom it didn’t affect, and then the whole bay area. A huge turtle caught Fox’s eye before it too was swallowed in the darkness.

Elsewhere, Falco and Krystal had land fairly close to each other in an open field. “I don’t see anyone” Falco said, “I can’t feel any presence either, perhaps this is.. wait.. I’m picking up on someone..” Krystal said, her telepathic abilities were not of one of the higher telepathic beings in the universe, but she was able to detect others. Just then a horse carrying two people, a man and woman, came running. Directly behind them was another man, one with a gun like the others who seemed sinister, and behind him rose the cloud of darkness! “Quick, come with us, we can help you!” Krystal told them. Zelda, who possesses telepathic ability as well could sense the goodness in Krystal and Falco. “Link, let’s go with them, Ganondorf will eventually overcome us if we don’t” she told him, he nodded, still holding the trophy of Navi in his free hand.

“Quick, we gotta get out of here or we’re toast!” Falco said noticing the darkness and the man approaching quickly. Zelda vanished from the horse and reappeared inside Krystal’s ship. The female fox leapt in behind her and the engines were started. Falco climbed in his own waiting for Link. This was hard for Link, he was going to have to leave Epona behind, that would be two friends in one day. He petted its mane, then led her beside Falco’s ship where he leapt in. The hatches closed on both ships, Link looking out to see Epona run off across the field and Ganondorf looking up at the ships, firing the gun but luckily Falco and Krystal dodged. A moment later Ganondorf and then Epona were swept over by the darkness, Ganondorf was fine, but the same couldn’t be said for Link’s faithful friend.

Upon getting back to the Great Fox, Fox found Falco and Krystal had saved two, and that Kirby and Meta-Knight had saved one as well. “So, what just happened down there anyway?” Midna asked. “It was Ganondorf and another I’ve never seen before, they caused the darkness to invade our entire world” Zelda stated. “Was that the guy chasing us? That guy looked like he needed some serious psychological therapy, and he had one of those guns too” Falco said. “Hmm.. looks like my maps are useless now” Tingle said as he had looked out one of the viewing sections of the Great Fox to the planet down below being swallowed up by the darkness. Link also looked down below as well at the planet he had known and all of his various friends, knowing they were gone.

“What now Fox?” Krystal asked. “ROB, have you tracked those other signatures?” Fox asked. “Yes Fox, they’ve went to three separate worlds, a map will be available for you once you arrive on the bridge” ROB said. “Alright, Krystal, Falco, get ready. We’re going to have to split up and do what we can to make sure those bombs don’t spread to those worlds as well” Fox stated. “Fox, three signatures are leaving the planet now, one is the crocodile seen earlier that the team battled, the other two I do not recognize” ROB said. “Are they headed to attack us?” Fox asked. “No. Wait.. getting a reading.. Fox, there is another ship nearby, perhaps it is connected?” ROB said. “We need to split up in four.. If Peppy and Slippy were here that would be no problem” Fox said, closing his eyes to hold back the emotion building inside of him.

“We’ll investigate the ship” Meta-Knight spoke up, causing Fox to look to him as well as Kirby who puffed up and nodded in agreement. “Hmm.. alright. ROB, you’ll take them that way after we’ve departed. Get that map ready for us ROB” Fox said.

Chapter 9

While the events that led to the destruction of Link and Zelda’s home world unfolded, Samus and the others had stopped to investigate a signature floating through space. Activating the tractor beam, Samus pulled the life form inside. “It’s still alive, whatever it is. I believe it came from that planet next to yours” Samus told DK and the other two as she opened the gates for it to enter. When the air lock chamber was locked and sealed it opened up, and out stepped King Dedede!

“Whew, am I tired” said Dedede as he held his hammer over his shoulder. He then saw he had an audience. “Oh, I am King Dedede of the planet Popstar!” he announced. Samus decided to not even introduce herself, instead she decided to head back to the main deck of her ship. “Uh, so who are all of you?” he asked them. “I’m Mario” “Luigi” “I’m Princess Peach, and this is Toad” “Hey!” “I am Geno and this fellow beside of me is Mallow” “The name’s Donkey Kong, that’s Diddy and Dixie”

“What about that one?” he asked, pointing to the cage holding the dragon. “Samus said that is Ridley” Geno stated. “Why’s he all caged up like that?” Dedede asked. “He’s a space pirate, Samus is transporting him to her home to go on trial I believe” Peach explained. “Oh, okay” Dedede said with a big goofy grin on his face. Then without warning he pulled back his mallet and flung it with the greatest amount of force he could muster, it soared through the air and smacked into the cage, smashing a part of it open. That was all Ridley needed!

The moment he was out he went to attack the others. “I’m taking over this ship, there’s no way I’m flying around the universe helping that guy destroy stuff” Dedede stated. It was now evident they had picked up an enemy, someone that worked for the minister. “Not so long as I’m here” Samus said, now wearing her helmet as well and charging her cannon at the penguin.

Ridley attacked though and she now targeted the flying monster, but it was too late, she was knocked down and her chozo suit was already getting scratched by Ridley as he longed to break through and end Samus’s life. “Hey! What gives! Is that anyway to treat your new captain!” Dedede screamed as Mario began chasing the penguin with a fire flower. “Hold villain, you shall not prevail here!” Geno said, firing his finger shot at Ridley, one hit the beast in the eye, which caused him to refocus his attention on the others.

He roared in anger and leapt at Geno, but Mallow stepped in and zapped the area directly in front of Ridley with a bolt of lightning. This caused Ridley to halt for the moment, but he was soon back to full force attack as he went for Geno again. That’s when a huge ball of light blasted the dragon into the side of the wall. It just so happened that that specific piece of wall was the doors to the outside. Samus, who had fired the shot from her arm cannon, activated the doors and they opened up and swiftly swallowed Ridley outside. The others began flying away too though. “Grab onto something!” Samus yelled as she held onto a doorway and activated the doors to shut.

The doors finally locked and the others fell back to the ground of which they held onto for dear life moments before. Then all eyes turned to Dedede. “Now that that is over, I demand this one be imprisoned” he said, pointing to Mario, “I’ll be going to pilot this ship now” Dedede stated matter of fact like.

“Hey, what’s the deal?! I’m your leader!” Dedede yelled as they threw him into another cage. Donkey Kong had made certain the gun was taken away from him. “Thanks to you I have to track that dragon down again” Samus complained. Dedede just began grumbling, groaning, and complaining about everything.

“Ship approaching..” said the auto pilot of the ship. “Now what?” Samus asked herself as she headed for the deck of the ship. “What’s the info on this one?” Samus asked as she pushed some buttons. “Great Fox starship; registered to Star Fox team, specifically one Fox McCloud of the neighboring Lylat system” the computer stated. “Attention Great Fox,” Samus said over the ship’s communication system, “I am Samus Aran, bounty hunter of the galactic federation. Are you friend or foe?” she asked.

“This is ROB, the onboard robot pilot of the Great Fox, our team has recently come to this system after detecting multiple disturbances” ROB stated. “I am registering life forms, six of them, on your ship” Samus replied. “They are guests from the planets that have recently been overcome with the darkness” ROB replied. “I am picking up on twelve life forms on your ship” ROB then said as a question. “They’re in the same situation as your guests, there is one dangerous enemy being detained” Samus answered. “If you wish, you have permission to dock your ship with ours” ROB said. “I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to share what information we have in person” Samus agreed and began programming the ship to do so.

A few minutes later the doors open and the whole group, save for Dedede, made their way inside the Great Fox. “Welcome, I am ROB” said the robot as he approached them. “I’m Samus Aran” she said, still wearing her helmet. “You are a robot as well then?” ROB asked. “Huh? Oh, no. Just a second” she said and removed her helmet. ROB’s hopes seem deflated. “Welcome aboard the Great Fox” ROB then said and walked back toward the bridge. The groups began to mingle then and the various stories were exchanged, when Dedede was brought up though Meta-Knight and Kirby both showed faces of anger. “Let me deal with that traitor properly!” Meta-Knight stated. “He will be dealt with, by the galactic federation” Samus said, refusing them permission to enact any revenge upon the foolish penguin King.

“What do we do now?” Mario asked. “We take the battle to them, stand up for your worlds, and for all of the others” Samus stated. “How can we defeat those guns and the bombs of darkness though?” Mallow asked. “Not quite sure, but if we stand around in outer space waiting for an answer, you’re never going to get one. We’ve got to take the battle to them” Samus said. “Alright robot, find out wherever that leader of there’s was headed and get us there” Samus stated. ROB went ahead and input the coordinates. “Huh?! That can’t be right” Samus said. “Why? What’s wrong?” Peach asked. “Those coordinates, that’s the home planet of the galactic federation!” Samus stated.

Chapter 10: Pokemon

Walking through the fields south of Viridian City, heading back to his home of Pallet Town, Red needed to talk to Professor Oak. With him on this voyage were his trusty pokemon; Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, Jigglypuff, and Pikachu. Going back home he saw a strange thing falling from the sky. This uncommon, but not unheard of, rumor had it that a pokemon had fallen from the sky in the distant region of Hoenn. Having never been to Hoenn himself, Red seeing this falling object from space hoped it may be a rare pokemon. “Come out Charizard!” he said as he threw a pokeball to the ground, summoning the large red dragon.

“I think there’s a rare pokemon landing somewhere near town, we’re gonna catch it!” Red told Charizard, the dragon roared in approval and flew besides Red before scooping him up and carrying him the rest of the way. Upon arriving though, they saw whatever it was had crashed right into Professor Oak’s laboratory! Charizard and Red went flying right through the hole made and discovered Professor Oak and his assistants moving around astonished. “Sir, is this a pokemon?” asked one. “I can’t be sure, it certainly isn’t human” Oak said, walking to the form of the large reptile.

“Get away from me!” Bowser growled at the professor. “It has the ability of speech!” he stated, a moment later he found himself engulfed in some flames. “Ah! And can breathe fire too! Ahhh!” he cried as he ran around and performed the stop, drop, and roll maneuver. “Stand aside, I plan to catch that pokemon!” Red said, which caused the aides to move away. “Charizard, use rock smash!” Red said, which caused the large red dragon to pull out a large rock and then throw it at Bowser. “What the.. ah!” Bowser cried before the rock hit him in the head. His vision was dizzy for a moment or two before he snapped to. “Listen here, no one attacks the King of the Koopas and lives!” Bowser growled and used his fire against Charizard. “Ha! It’s not very effective!” Red said with a smile.

“What?! Not effective?!” Bowser growled. “Charizard, return! Go Squirtle!” Red said, pulling another pokeball out. A small blue bipedal turtle appeared, “Squirtle!” it stated upon arriving. “Squirtle, use waterfall!” Red shouted his command, which caused Squirtle to summon a wave of water that smacked into Bowser and lifted him off the ground and smashed him back down. “Pokeball.. go!” Red yelled throwing an empty pokeball, it hit Bowser directly on the nose. “Ow! Why you little brat!” Bowser growled and the pokeball did nothing. “Well, I guess he’s not a pokemon then after all” Oak said, having recovered from his injuries.

Bowser was now injured, dripping wet, and more than a little angry. Pulling forth the gun and pointing it at Oak, Bowser smiled as he started it up. A moment later, the world-renowned pokemon Professor was gone, and all that was left was a trophy. “Professor?” Red asked in shock at what he had just seen. The aides meanwhile screamed and ran around in a panicked confusion. Bowser then turned the gun on Red, “Time to get rid of you kid!” Bowser growled. Red didn’t waste any time though, grabbing Professor Oak’s statue, Red went running from the lab, carrying the solidified professor in his backpack, with the aides running out behind him screaming bloody murder. “That no good space pilot.. I might as well get to work here” Bowser told himself and headed outside with the gun. “Now where’d that kid go to?” Bowser said with a grin and went in search of Red.

“Blue! It’s horrible, Professor Oak, your grandfather. He’s been turned into a statue!” Red said over the phone from his mother’s house nearby. “What? What are you talking about Red? I’m here in Viridian and I just saw him a half an hour ago” Blue stated, “finally got my earth badge too, unlike someone I know” Blue stated. “There’s no time for your stupid bragging Blue, why did I even call you anyway?” Red asked and hung the phone up. On the other end Blue looked quizzically at the phone, wondering if Red had been telling the truth.

“Stay inside mom, don’t let anyone in, okay?” Red told his mom as he headed out, “Be careful Red!” his mom said as she watched him run out, she then locked the door behind him and looked worriedly out the window. Red wasn’t really sure what to do, he decided he’d go tell the nearest gym leader of what was going on, perhaps they’d be able to properly challenge this newcomer. “Let’s see, Sabrina is in Saffron, too far away, Misty’s in Cerulean, no good. There’s the gym in Viridian, but I haven’t been there yet. It’ll have to work!” Red told himself as he went running ahead off to Viridian City.

“Bowser” came a voice from the gun he held. “Huh? What’s going on?” Bowser asked. “It is I, the Ancient Minister. You’ve landed on a world rich in power, do not activate a bomb there yet” he said. “Alright, what do you want me to do then?” Bowser asked. “Use the shadows to your will, I am picking up at least fifty signatures of high energy, get as many of them as you can as trophies, all if possible” the ancient minister instructed. “You want me to go over the whole planet in search of these fifty different things? No way!” Bowser replied. “Use the shadows, enlist some help if you need to” the minister said.

“Hmm.. gotta find someone to help” Bowser said, then summoned the primids out, those strange bodied forms. “Alright, each of you are getting a gun” Bowser said as the darkness formed those odd guns for each and everyone of them. One of the primids fired at a spearow as it flew by. The spearow fell to the ground as a statue.. and then it turned back on its own! “What the?!” Bowser said in shock. “Hey minister, these things changed back automatically!” Bowser said. “Hmm.. it seems there’s only one way to capture those creatures. I’m searching some of the great minds of the planet. There’s a thing called poke balls, you have to capture those creatures with those, it’s similar to turning them into trophies” the minister said.

“Is that what that kid used?” Bowser asked. “Yes, there are pokeballs, great balls, and ultra balls, and one master ball that will catch any of these pokemon creatures automatically no matter what. Here,” the minister said, and with that the guns vanished from the primids hands and in place of them was now master balls! Lots of them! “That should be enough, also there’s a man in the next town, leader of a gym. I believe he might join my cause and contribute more information, I’m getting some interference from someone or something else” the minister said before he was cut off.

“Infinite master balls, and Giovanni is involved as well. I must stop this” came the voice of the mighty psychic pokemon Mewtwo as he rose from Cerulean city’s infamous cave and headed for Viridian City.

“Hey! Red! Where you going?” asked Blue as he came out of the pokemon center. “I came here to get help from the gym leader since you refuse to listen to anything I say” Red answered. “Listen Red, there ain’t no way my Gramps got changed to a statue” Blue said. “Oh yeah, well have a look for yourself!” Red said pulling the statue of Oak from his backpack. Blue looked at it, “Just a replica, that proves nothing” Blue stated. “Fine, believe what you want!” Red said and headed for the gym.

Meanwhile the Primids were spreading out across the regions of Kanto and Johto. Turning into darkness and traveling around allowed them to cross barriers. They could fly, go under water, and even underground, focusing on the nearest and greatest source of power. Within a half hours time Kanto had been robbed of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Johto lost its impressive Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Ho-oH, and Lugia. Even the mysterious Mew and Celebi were captured. At least one of all of the other pokemon were captured too, as instructed by the ancient minister. Most primids fled Kanto and Johto though after the birds, dogs, Mew, and Celebi were taken.

Half went to Hoenn where Regirock, Regice, and Registeel were taken from their various hidden caves. Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza despite their remote hard to get to locations, all fell to the primids. The hidden Latias and Latios were found out by the Primids ability to seek energies and were taken, the same fate awaited Deoxys and Jirachi. The other half made there way to Sinnoh. Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf like the Regis before them all fell, and the great Regigigas fell with them. Dialgia, Palkia, Heatran, Giratina, and Darkrai all came under their control. The prince of the sea, Manaphy, and the young Phione were soon captured. The last taken was Shaymin, and even the great and mighty Arceus.

“You? You’re the leader of Viridian gym?!” Red asked, surprised to see Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket, in the gym leader’s arena. “That’s right, I see you’ve come a long way. Do you wish to challenge me yet again?” he asked with a smirk. “No, I came to ask for your help actually” Red said. “You are wasting your time with him” Mewtwo stated as he broke in through the roof. “Mewtwo!” Giovanni said with desire in his eyes. “Yes Giovanni it is I, and you shall not capture me today, or any other day” Mewtwo stated. “That’s what you think” Giovanni said as he threw all of his pokeballs at Mewtwo.

“Nidoking!” “Gengar!” “Persian!” “Machamp!” “Aerodactyl!” “Snorlax!” they all said one by one as they appeared from their pokeballs. “You should know by now that these attacks are useless” Mewtwo said as his pokemon were flung backwards through one of the walls. “What’s going on over there?” Blue asked and decided to check it out. Upon entering he saw Giovanni, Red, and a strange pokemon he’d never seen before.

“Red, what’s going on?” he asked. “That’s Giovanni, he’s the leader of Team Rocket” Red stated. There was another guest arrival though, the primids, having captured all the other pokemon in the area were moving upon Mewtwo now. As masterballs were thrown, Mewtwo used his psychic abilities to knock them back. “I will NOT be caught!” Mewtwo said. However he had to focus on keeping the pokeballs away and couldn’t fight Giovanni’s pokemon, who were getting up.

“Uh!” Red said in shock, he then tossed out five pokeballs. “Charizard!” “Squirtle!” “Ivysaur!” “Jigglypuff!” “Pikachu!” they said as they appeared. All of them save for Charizard though were dwarfed by the much larger and stronger pokemon of Giovanni. “Move aside Red, I can take him” Blue said and threw six pokeballs out. “Gyarados!” “Pidgeot!” “Alakazam!” “Arcanine!” “Rhydon!” “Exeggutor!” Blue’s pokemon announced themselves.

In the region of Sinnoh, Fox landed down and instantly saw he was too late, he saw primids everywhere, capturing things. Pulling out his blaster he shot as many as he could, but they continued to regenerate. Fox caught sight of one of the things the primids was after who was visibly getting tired. “Hold on!” Fox said and decided this battle was better fought from the sky. He got back to his ship and zoomed over to the fleeing pokemon. “Jump up here!” Fox shouted. The tired pokemon did so, grabbing onto the ship, Fox opened the hold and the pokemon climbed in. “You okay?” Fox asked. “I am fine” said the voice of the pokemon known as Lucario.

“I need to find that overgrown lizard, hopefully this computer can pinpoint him soon. If I can find him, I might be able to stop all of this” Fox told his guest as they flew over the land. The primids meanwhile were following behind Fox’s ship, after Lucario still. “Don’t worry about them, I can lose them things easy” Fox said as he boosted them forward which did leave the primids in the dust, for the moment. “Wait, I sense another signature down there, running for now” said Lucario. “Huh?” Fox said, looking down and catching sight of a lone Blaziken as it raced onward. “Uh, you’re telepathic?” Fox asked, Lucario nodded. “Tell that one to jump on then” Fox said, Lucario agreed and within a moment the Blaziken leapt up to them. “I can’t carry anymore” Fox said, knowing he shouldn’t have picked up Blaziken really, especially after using the boost. “Enemy detected” the onboard computer stated. “Take me there” Fox said as a map appeared on screen.

“This looks like a great place to get some trophies” Bowser said seeing Red, Blue, Mewtwo, and Giovanni, as well as the other pokemon. Bowser threw a master ball at Red’s Charizard, but it failed. “You can’t catch other trainer’s pokemon!” Red shouted. Bowser growled but then grinned, “Maybe not, but I can catch the trainer!” he said and pulled out his gun and pointed it to Red. “Don’t waste time with him, get Giovanni on your side” the minister said through telepathy. Bowser growled, wishing the minister would mind his own business, but Bowser walked over to Giovanni.

Blue’s pokemon were fighting off Giovanni’s, Red’s were trying to help Mewtwo who was becoming tired, and Bowser meanwhile was talking things over with Giovanni, who seemed very intrigued by it all as he witnessed the power that Bowser possessed to control the army of Primids. “Hold it right there!” said Fox as his ship landed. “You again? Good, I’ll get rid of you right now” Bowser said as he focused his gun at the Star Fox pilot. As it fired, Fox used his trusty reflector and it bounced off of him and smacked right into Bowser.

The King of the Koopas was defeated, he had been turned into a statue! The primids however continued attacking Mewtwo. “It’s time I ended this” the minister said and then instructed Giovanni through telepathy how to activate a dark bomb, which the leader of Team Rocket went right ahead and did, as the robots appeared and pulled it apart, activating it. “We have failed, call your pokemon back, quickly” Mewtwo said. Red and Blue did as they were told. Mewtwo then wrapped them and himself in psychic energy and lifted them upward. Fox grabbed up the trophy of Bowser and got back in his ship with Lucario and Blaziken as they too lifted into the air.

The bomb went off behind them, and as it spread the Primids vanished to blend in with the darkness and all other life on this bountiful planet faded away to darkness except for the evil Giovanni, who now held the power of darkness within him, ideas flooded to him of what he could do as he took to the skies.

“ROB, come in ROB, this is Fox” he said over the intercom. “Fox, this is Samus Aran. I’ve commandeered your craft” she answered. “WHAT?!” Fox replied. “The dark forces that we are both after are on a direct path toward my home planet. Myself and those on board my craft and yours are heading to defeat them” Samus stated. “Get ROB on the communicator” Fox said, more than a little upset.

For a good five minutes Fox barked at ROB for allowing someone to take over the Great Fox. After calming down a bit though, “Have you heard any word from the others yet?” Fox asked. “No Fox, I can confirm they have arrived at their destinations though, and so far no signs of the darkness bombs has occurred” ROB said. “That’s good I suppose. Alright, send me your new coordinates, I’m coming to dock with a few survivors” Fox stated, still upset he had failed in his mission to save that planet.

Chapter 11: F-Zero

Entering the planet’s atmosphere, Falco wasn’t really sure what to expect here. “Alright, where’d he go” Falco said as his craft came down past the clouds. He saw lots of roads everywhere. Some roads didn’t make any sense though at first until Falco realized where he was. “The F-Zero races! Sweet, Falco buddy you couldn’t have picked a better planet!” Falco told himself as he continued lowering his plane. The lower he got the easier it was to make out the images of moving vehicles down below.

“Perfect, a race is going on” Falco said, deciding to watch a bit before he got to work. “Maybe I can hear the announcer if I-” he suggested as he opened the hatch to his arwing. “And Black Shadow moves around for the last lap of the race with Captain Falcon right behind him, and him being followed closely by the dangerous Samurai Goroh” the announcer said, which came in loud and clear for Falco.

“Come on Falcon! You’ve got this one!” Falco said as he watched the cars move around. Falco knew this racecourse; it was Big Blue “Alright Captain, you’ve got this” Falco said. “Whoa folks, some foolish oaf has managed to find himself on the racetrack!” the announcer stated. The cars neared, Falco gazed in and saw it was Wario! “Ah great job bird brain, now you could cost the race because you weren’t doing your job!” Falco told himself as he closed the hatch and zoomed on down. It was going to be close, but Falco was going to see if he could get Wario out of there. That’s when he noticed what Wario was doing; he was pointing that strange gun directly at the oncoming racers. Falco wouldn’t get there in time. The blast went off, it missed Black Shadow, and Captain Falcon swerved out of the way. Samurai Goroh was not as fortunate as his car and he changed to a trophy.

“Whoa! Did you folks at home just see that?! That odd little man just turned the fierce racer Samurai Goroh into.. well, we’re not really sure yet” the announcer said. Wario meanwhile went to dodge the other cars only to get run right into by Black Shadow. “Get off my car you fool!” Black Shadow yelled through his window as Wario’s flab blocked his view. Captain Falcon quickly took the lead, and the race was won! “Captain Falcon folks, Captain Falcon holds onto his title of F-Zero champion!” the announcer said. The other racers made their way across the finish line. Falco landed his ship on the track, having noticed what happened to Samurai Goroh he scooped up the trophy. “Now to get that guy” Falco said and hopped back in his arwing and turned it around to find Wario.

“Waah” Wario said as he finally rolled off the front of Black Shadow’s car. “Are you alright?” asked Dr. Stewart, one of the F-Zero racers, as he ran over from his own vehicle. Dr. Stewart received his answer when he too was turned to a trophy. Black Shadow noticed this time, his eyes opening at the potential of such a weapon. Wario turned the weapon to Black Shadow’s car then. “Wait, wait my friend. I think we might be able to help each other out” Black Shadow stated, getting out of his car. “Alright, now just calm down” he said and signaled for Blood Falcon to come his way, which he did.

“Black Shadow!” came the familiar voice of Captain Falcon. “You ran over a man back there! Don’t think you’re going to get away with that” the good captain said. “If you will notice you pathetic excuse for a driver, the man is perfectly fine. In fact we’re good friends. He was just showing me how he uses this odd device of his” Black Shadow said then directed the next message to Wario, “Now, how did you say this little gun of yours works again?” Black Shadow asked. Wario smiled and pointed the gun at Captain Falcon. “Later loser!” Wario told him as he fired the gun. Something flashed in the way though.

It took a second or two for everyone to realize what had happened. Up ahead was an empty arwing, standing in front of Captain Falcon and between him and the others was Falco, activating the reflector that Fox had given him. “No one else is getting changed here” Falco told Wario, as well as the other two. “FALCON.. PUNCH!” Again, the events that took place took a second to register for everyone. Blood Falcon had just sent Falco flying backward with a flaming punch to the beak. “Haha! I win!” Wario chanted after realizing the one stopping him had just been beat down.

“Falcon kick!” said the real Captain Falcon as the odd gun was kicked out of Wario’s hands and went soaring into the air. Falcon then leapt into the air and grabbed it. “I’ll be taking that” he said, now in control of the strange gun. Falco meanwhile was trying to refocus his vision. “Fox?” he asked, as a figure that looked much like Fox stood above him wearing a pair of sunglasses. Then he ran off.

Falco shook his head and sat up, “Weird..” he told himself before looking to see that Captain Falcon now had control of the gun and was pointing it at the other three. Falco jumped back up with a big grin as he stood beside the captain. “Thanks cap” Falco began, but then found himself tripped and tossed over to the other three. “Now, you’re going to give me some answers little man” Captain said to Wario. “What did you do to Goroh and Stewart?”

“He turned them into trophies, he’s working for this guy named the-” Falco tried to say only to get a foot on his throat by the captain. “I believe I was asking him” Captain Falcon stated. But when Falcon refocused his attention, Wario had his backside pointed at him. “Here I go!” Wario stated, and with that a huge fart was let out that exploded and blew all but Wario backwards. For Falco and Captain Falcon this was bad news as it caused them to fall over the edge of the Big Blue course. They landed in the water far below. “Great job there Cap” Falco griped once they both came back to the surface.

Wario meanwhile picked his gun back up and went to setting up the bomb and getting in good acquaintance with Black Shadow and Blood Falcon. Falco pushed a button on his wrist; luckily Slippy had made his equipment entirely waterproof. Falco smiled as he remembered how he once told Slippy he’d never have to use any of his stuff underwater. The arwing came down and opened up its hatch, Falco climbed in and reached out a hand to Captain Falcon. “Look, do you really want to stay down here in the water?” Falco asked. Captain reached out and grabbed on and climbed in as well.

“Alright, now if I can risk the threat of getting best up again. That guy works for another guy called the Ancient Minister,” Falco began. “and his plan is to go around and take over the planets. He does this by turning them to trophies, that’s what happened to Goroh and Stewart. I know cause the same thing happened to two of my good friends” Falco explained. “And who are you?” the cap asked. “I’m Falco, ace pilot of the star fox team” he answered. “Star Fox, yeah, I’ve heard of you guys. I’m a bounty hunter myself, work for the galactic federation” he explained. “Yeah, I know, sort of a fan of yours, or was” Falco stated.

“Sorry about that, you just can’t be sure with anyone here. One minute they are your friends, the next they’re shooting you in the back” Cap explained. Falco nodded, sort of understanding, he’d after all seen several of the races. “So, how do we stop him?” Cap asked. “Haven’t figured that out yet, ‘course there’s one approach that would probably work” Falco answered, suggesting drastic action. “Hmm, if what you say is true, we may have to revert to that.” “Whoa, what’s up with this ‘we’ talk?” Falco asked. “This is my home, I’m not about to let it go up in smoke without a fight” Cap answered, Falco rubbed his throat, knowing that was the truth, and he had no problem fighting alongside one of the famous F-Zero racers. “Alright” Falco said as they reached the road level. Once there they arrived just in time to see Wario, Black Shadow, and Blood Falcon activating the darkness bomb.

Falco swore under his breath. “What’s that?” Cap asked. “That’s the other problem, once they are done with trophies, they use that thing to wipe out the whole planet, all life is gone. I’ve already seen its effects on a few other worlds” Falco explained. “We need to destroy it!” Cap yelled as he pushed the bomb button. “Waa!” Wario said with wide eyes as a bomb came flying at them. Exploding, it caused the track to fall out from under Wario, Black Shadow, Blood Falcon, and the darkness bomb! When it hit the water, the bomb activated. It passed over the three villains, but it spread quickly and erased all signs of life as it did. “Great job again Cap. You’re rashness just destroyed this planet!” Falco yelled as he spun the jet around to leave. “Wait! Some of the racers are still down there” Cap said, and then watched as they were erased from existence by the darkness that approached.

“Folks, we’re not really sure what’s going on but a part of our famous Big Blue track has been destroyed by a space craft and a strange darkness is spreading over the area, it’s the strangest thing this reporter has ever seen. It’s getting close now…”

Chapter 12: Earthbound

“Entering planet’s atmosphere. It hasn’t been harmed by the darkness yet. And if I have anything to say about it, it won’t be” Krystal said. As visual became apparent, Krystal smiled as the sight of a quaint little town appeared. Seeing a mountain in the distance, she decided it would be best to land somewhere over in that region. A few houses dotted it; she made sure to steer clear of them. “Alright Krystal, time to find that odd looking man” she said as she hopped out of the arwing.

Nearby she spots a child approaching. He wears a red baseball cap and carries a fancy looking baseball bat with a yoyo at his side. “It’s a bit late for you to be out isn’t it little one?” Krystal asks. The boy just smiles, he seems to be waiting for something. Krystal isn’t really sure what to think of the kid. “Alright, well. I have to find a bad guy, so I’ll see you later then I suppose” she tells him. With that she leaves him behind and heads for signs of a nearby town. The kid appeared beside her then, walking in the same direction. He was creeping her out a bit. “Have you seen any bad guys?” Krystal asked. The boy still said nothing though and headed onward, with Krystal moving on eventually too. “I guess you don’t talk much” she said, mostly to herself.

Entering town Krystal noticed a quaint little sign that read ‘Welcome to Onett’. “Hmm, Onett is it? Alright. Maybe he came here” she said. The streets of town were empty; a light flickered above the drug store, Krystal decided to see if she could find any hint of him there, the creepy boy still beside her. Then inside of the drug store she saw movement! Inside was none other than Waluigi! And of all the things he was stuffing his face with candy bars! “Well, at least he’s not turning anyone to trophies” she told herself; still she needed to apprehend him. But she was late to the battle as the young boy made his way inside. “PK Fire!” the boy yelled, which set fire to the gluttonous Waluigi. “Waaaaa!” Waluigi screamed as he ran around when he discovered he’d been set on fire.

Waluigi then pulled the gun on the boy. “PK Rockin!” the boy said, a wave of psychokinetic energy came from him and smashed into Waluigi. The force was so strong that it blasted him straight through the back of the drug store’s wall! “The kid’s pretty tough” Krystal noted, and then she noticed the gun had went off and the beaten Waluigi was now turned to a trophy. “Not what I intended, but it works I suppose” she stated as she picked the statue up as well. “I guess this is where we part ways then” Krystal told the boy. “Can I take you back home?” she asked him. He shook his head no and then pointed at her. “You want to come with me?” Krystal asked.

The boy nodded, “You know, this would be a lot easier if you’d talk” she told him, but he just stared at her. “I don’t think I should take you with me, you’d be a great help, but your parents would really miss you I’m sure” she said. He shook his head no again and pointed once more. Krystal raised an eyebrow. “Well, you did help me out a lot, I guess I could take you for a brief ride” Krystal said, realizing she did owe him for doing her job for her. “Alright, you can go with me, but just for a little while. I’m going to take this guy back to my friends and then I’m bringing you right back” she told him. He nodded in approval of that choice.

With that the two of them were soon taking off into the atmosphere, this was the first planet to escape the destruction of the ancient minister’s darkness.. or was it?

Chapter 13: Attack on the G-Fed

“Where are the other three?” the minister asked all of his lackeys as they arrived inside of the ship’s hold. Wario, K. Rool, Ganondorf, Giovanni, Blood Falcon, and Black Shadow were all gathered together. “No matter, we have the weapons now to destroy the galactic federation” the minister said. “Are you certain of this plan? The galactic federation is the authority, not just in this one system or sector, but in this entire galaxy. They have Captain Falcon and Samus Aran to name a few that back them up” Black Shadow stated, showing obvious doubt.

“With our intellect, our might, and our abilities we shall cause the fall of the galactic federation. Once this is accomplished, our complete and total victory is promised!” the minister explained. Black Shadow had to agree that if they were out of the picture there’d be nothing to stop them. “Now, we go to war” the minister stated and activated the weapons of the Halberd to begin operation.

“Sir, there’s a mysterious craft hovering above the planet” said one of the troops checking the monitors. “What? What’s the data on that ship?” the general asked. “According to our information banks it’s the Halberd and comes from the Planet Popstar, driven by one Meta-Knight” the soldier stated. “Popstar, isn’t that one of them planets that recently went dark?” asked the general. “Yes sir” he replied. “Perhaps they’re remnants of the population, allow them entry” said the general. “Allow entry!” yelled the troop. The defense systems went down. “Attention Halberd, you are clear for entry” said one of the troops over the intercom. “Thank you for allowing us entry” the minister responded as the Halberd docked.

From various exits of the Halberd, the villainous group spread outward, they weren’t taking prisoners this time, none of them held onto their guns, they were on this planet for one purpose and one purpose only, to destroy it. The Halberd fired a laser blast into several buildings causing them to crumble. “We’re under attack!” yelled the general. “Everyone fire on that ship!”

It was too late though. Ganondorf was blasting several troops down at a time with his mastery of the darkness. Blood Falcon, under orders from Black Shadow, was sent out and was killing troops with lightning quick efficiency. Giovanni summoned forth his pokemon, which had also been endowed with the power of the darkness, and used them to attack as well. “That’s correct, have fun with them!” the minister said with a grin as he activated the darkness bomb inside the ship.

“Hold it right there minister, the galactic federation isn’t going down today, not while we’re here!” came the voice of Fox McCloud as the Great Fox arrived. Arwings came flying out. The first was Fox and Red and the second contained Falco and Captain Falcon. Captain Falcon leapt from the arwing and confronted Blood Falcon. “Come on guys, time to brawl!” Red said as he tossed his five pokeballs, which backed up Captain Falcon. Landing the craft, Fox and Red both hopped out. “Give me some backup Falco” Fox said. “Hear you loud and clear Fox” Falco said and began blasting at the Halberd as Fox made his way inside of the ship.

After them, Kirby and Meta Knight came floating and gliding down, ready for battle. Dixie came swooping down with Diddy holding onto her feet. They appeared on either side of K. Rool. Appearing near Ganondorf, Link and Zelda showed up with a helpful teleport and locked eyes with the evil one. As Wario prepared to use his powerful gas he’d find himself facing a clown car full of trouble as Mario, Peach, Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, and Donkey Kong had come down in it as Donkey Kong cracked his knuckles. Mewtwo came floating down with ease, flanked by Blaziken, Lucario, and Blue as they blocked Giovanni’s path, Blue also released his own pokemon to block Giovanni’s.

“Let’s not get cocky people” Samus said as she leapt down from the Great Fox, doing a midair twist and then coming to a landing and holding her arm cannon to Black Shadow’s head. “Fools! Your ragtag team will not prevail against us!” the minister said, “You forgot that my army consists of billions!” he said over the intercom. Dark orbs spread out, as primids appeared, literally billions of them. The heroes looked around and were definitely nervous. “We’ve got a few weapons of our own minister” Fox said as he appeared in the room with the minister and fired his blaster at him.

The battle had begun! The minister blocked it with a shield and then raised the bottom part of his body over the top half and brought it down to smack Fox. The captain was too swift though and illusion-ed himself out of harm’s way and then continued firing his blaster as the minister kept shielding from it.

“Falcon..” “Punch!” it was Blood Falcon that managed to get the move out first by a mere second, it sent Captain Falcon flying backward. Red’s pokemon were being distracted by having to battle the primids. “Charizard, use fire blast! Squirtle, use hydro pump, Ivysaur, use Solarbeam!” Red ordered. Jigglypuff meanwhile sang any of the primids that came close enough to sleep with her sing technique. Pikachu looked around quizzically, wondering what he should do.

As Samus prepared to fire, ending the life of Black Shadow, she glanced up to see a surprise, Ridley! She once more was slow to fire and found herself tackled right off the side of the platform they were on. The two of them fell downward and struggled as they did so. “Looks like you got here one way or another Ridley” she told him as she punched the side of his head.

Black Shadow and Blood Falcon believed they were free now to attack the good guys, only to be met up with Lucario and Blaziken. “Blaziken!” Blaziken said as he gave a mighty Blaze kick to Blood Falcon. Lucario meanwhile, holding onto an odd glowing ball released it, this being his Aura Sphere attack which blasted the evil Shadow down.

“Give up Mewtwo, you’re not going to win this time” Giovanni said. “You wrote my DNA Giovanni, you know I will” he told him as Mewtwo kept the primids at bay away from the battle between Giovanni and Blue’s pokemon battle. “Gyarados use surf!” Blue said. “That’s it?” Giovanni asked. But when water rose up and splashed his Nidoking, the Primids, and Giovanni himself he rethought his criticism of the attack as he was pushed against the deck of the Halberd.

“What? They sent you small fries to fight me?” K. Rool scoffed at the group of four surrounding him. Diddy pulled out his popguns, MetaKnight his sword, Kirby took out a trusty mallet, and Dixie then wrapped her hair around the wicked reptile and spun him around, the other three began pelting him then.

“Huh!” Link said as he clanged blades with Ganondorf. Zelda sent out Din’s fire to help, but Ganondorf stopped this as he raised a hand and absorbed the attack. “Your mine!” he told them both as Link and him continued to fight.

“Eh? Eh?” Wario said, looking to see he was greatly outnumbered, and then he smiled wickedly. “Here I go, again!” he said and let out a huge fart, blasting the whole group nearly off the platform! As Peach fell, Toad screamed but then relaxed a bit as he saw Peach had opened her parasol.

“Give it up pilot, you can’t match my strength” the minister said. “That’s funny, you remind me of a guy I knew once, Andross. Except he’s dead now, guess who kicked his butt” Fox said, flipping over and kicking the minister in the side. “Ha! You and your friends will not save the federation, it will fall as will you, and all worlds” the minister said as he charged at Fox.

“Those guys look like they could use some help” Falco said, stopping with his attack on the Halberd as he prepared to jump down into the fray. “Calm down bird boy, I’ve got this one” Krystal said over the intercom. “Krystal, good to see you again” Falco said. “Careful Falco, Fox might get jealous if you keep sweet talking me” she joked, but managed to shut Falco up as he returned to blasting the Halberd.

Opening the hatch and preparing to jump, the young Ness pointed to Samus and Ridley who were still falling. She nodded in understanding and headed there, but not before Ness leapt out and onto the platform. “PK Fire!” he yelled as Wario’s butt caught fire. “PK Thunder!” he said, directing a strange blue energy ball around to attack Ganondorf, which allowed Din’s fire to hit as well, as Ganondorf was momentarily stunned, this in turn allowed Link to twist Ganondorf’s sword from his grasp.

“Time for me to do my stuff!” Mallow said as he looked out from the Great Fox. Raising his hands above his head he called upon the elements. A moment later multiple lightning bolts began striking the stage. “Pikachu! Help it with thunder!” Red called. “Pika-CHU!” the rodent said as he and Mallow’s attacks doubled in strength and began frying the Primids to bits. “Charizard, Squirtle, Ivysaur, perform the same attacks again, blast them into those lightning attacks!” Red directed. “PK Flash!” Ness said as he released a blast of energy out that finished K. Rool as he was sent falling downward off the platform.

Krystal zoomed down and caught Samus and Ridley on the hood of her arwing. She could sense which was the good one, opened her hatch and shot Ridley in the back with a blast of fire. “Not bad” Samus said as Ridley fell off the ship. “Thanks, you’re not bad yourself” she replied. Then Ridley rose back, grabbing Samus once more and carrying her high up into the air with him now. “My turn” Samus said and curled into a ball, dropping a bomb as well as releasing herself from Ridley’s claws, the bomb went off and blew Ridley unconscious as he landed on the Halberd.

“Falcon punch!” came the original Falcon as he recovered and now slammed a fist in the back of Blood Falcon who was just about to recover from Blaziken’s attack. “Whoa, hello there” Krystal said, spotting Peach and Toad falling downward, performing the same favor for them as she had for Samus just a moment before. “Gyarados use hyper beam! Rhydon use earthquake!” Blue commanded. The result of which caused Giovanni and his pokemon to faint, as well as several platforms, including the ones they all were on, to fall.

“ROB, you know what to do!” Fox said as he continued battling the minister. “Got it Fox” ROB responded and sent bombs blasting down upon the Halberd. The whole ship shook. Meanwhile outside the others began to flee back to the Great Fox with their captives. Ness grabbed Samus’s hand, which made her think the kid was scared, until he began running across the falling platform, and then they vanished, and reappeared on the Great Fox.

The upset caused Link to fall backwards, which allowed Ganondorf to back flip onto the Halberd and away from him. Zelda appeared beside Link, grabbed a hold of him, and then they vanished back to the Great Fox as well. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Geno, and Donkey Kong rose back up in the clown car. Krystal and Peach meanwhile went to dock with the Great Fox. Falco swooped down so Captain Falcon could jump on as they headed to dock.

Dixie and Diddy found themselves being lifted up by Kirby and MetaKnight back to the ship. Red and Blue called their pokemon back to them as Mewtwo lifted them as well as Lucario and Blaziken from the falling platforms. “You’re not getting away either Giovanni” Mewtwo said as he lifted him as well as Blood Falcon, Black Shadow, Ridley, Wario, and K. Rool into the air. He was unable to get Ganondorf as he went back to the Great Fox.

“Your friends are leaving you” the minister said. “Don’t you worry about my friends” Fox said as he blasted the minister with his laser. “Who are you anyway? What are you?” Fox asked. “I am the ancient minister, the bringer of change” the evil thing said. “Ah, change begins” he said then as the darkness was released! “NO!” Fox growled. The minister laughed. Fox leapt out of a large viewing window on the Halberd. He began pushing buttons on his wrist; his ship was headed his way. Those on the Great Fox watched and waited for any sign of Fox.

“Ha!” he yelled as he stopped midair and flames formed around him, he’d learnt this specific technique from his father as a youngster, called the fire fox. Blasting himself upward he bought himself some more time as his ship made its way below him. He dropped into the cockpit and wasted no time flying away from the darkness, using his boost completely up to do so he then headed for the Great Fox. “Let’s go, go, go, go!” he shouted over the intercom as his arwing became visible.

The Galactic Federation had fallen, the darkness spread fast and fully over the planet, converting the entire police force of the galaxy under the control of the ancient minister. “Now what do we do?” Krystal asked once they were far enough away. “We keep trying” Fox said. Despite capturing most of the minister’s forces, everyone was quite solemn.

Chapter 14

“Fox, we’ve got bogeys coming in fast” Falco said as he monitored the screens in Slippy and Peppy’s place. “What? More than one?” Fox responded as he made his way to the screens as well. “Attention Star Fox Team, this is Star Wolf, your better, speaking” a voice came over the intercom. “Star Wolf…” Fox said, this wasn’t someone he wanted to see right now. “Prepare to be boarded” Wolf, the leader of the Star Wolf team, stated. “In your dreams Wolf” Fox replied. Things went quiet then, that’s when the entire ship shook!

“We’ve been hit” ROB stated. “That didn’t come from Star Wolf, who fired at us?” Fox demanded to know. “The Halberd, it’s leaving the planet’s surface” Falco said. “Alright everyone, it seems our friend the minister has decided to call in some help. That’s okay though, we’re able to handle them. Falco, you can take Leon right?” Fox asked. “No problem Fox” Falco stated. “I’ve got Panther, Fox” Krystal spoke up. “And I can take care of Wolf. That still leaves the problem of the Halberd” Fox said. “I’m going to fly over there and destroy the monster myself” Samus stated. “Not if my blade finds him first” MetaKnight said.

“Ganondorf is still at the minister’s right hand” Zelda added, making sure everyone realized that the minister wasn’t alone. “He still has all of those primids as well” Mario spoke up. Fox nodded. “Samus, could you use your ship to help attack the Halberd?” Fox asked, Samus nodded. “Good. Metaknight, I’ll need you to attack that ship, show ROB its weaknesses” Fox told the dark knight. “The mighty Halberd has no weakness!” MetaKnight insisted. Kirby however seemed to disagree as he shook his head no and then yes. He then puffed himself up and floated over to the controls and began pointing some weaknesses out that MetaKnight apparently didn’t want to admit to. “Alright, the rest of you guard the prisoners” Fox said. With that Fox and the others headed out, running for their arwings as Samus ran for her own ship.

“You are no match for Star Wolf, Fox” Wolf stated. “Don’t you ever shut up?” Fox asked. All of the arwings and wolfens began moving about firing at each other. Samus meanwhile sent her ship out and began firing what she could at the Halberd. ROB meanwhile was activating the main laser on the Great Fox to blow the rival ship across the stars.

From the Halberd appeared a thick black mass, a shadow in the middle of space. Ness pointed out the window. “They are coming” Mewtwo added to his gesture. Indeed the primids were on their way. Within minutes they fell upon Samus’s ship, causing the ship to take on auto-pilot mode as Samus warded the creatures off of her. The Great Fox was preparing for a similar encounter. “Hyah!” Zelda said as she released a burst of fire at the first intruder. The primids flooded then, they came in from all directions. Mario and Luigi fired off some fireballs as the Kongs began wrestling and tossing them around.

“Fiends!” MetaKnight said as he slashed them with his sword strokes. Mewtwo used his psychic abilities to keep them away from the cages holding the recent prisoners. Blaziken and Lucario did what they could to keep them away as well. “Aura Sphere!” Lucario said as he blasted four or five of them down. “Blaze Kick!” Blaziken added as he plowed down three others. Link was slashing at them when suddenly he found his sword and shield gone, and he was much closer to the floor as well. “If I’m going to be a part of this, I might as well help out” Midna said as she took her impish form and sat atop Link’s body. He growled, not personally caring for the return to this form, but he decided now was not the time to argue, he had to protect Zelda and the others. Midna and Link barreled into them, getting the monsters away from Zelda. “Oh no, this can’t be good” ROB said as they came through the computers. Kirby opened his mouth and began to inhale the primids in and away from the computers.

“Falcon Kick!” Captain Falcon said as he drove a group of them toward Ness, who hit them directly with his trusty bat. “Jiggly… puff. Jigglypuff…” came the familiar song. Soon all of the current primids in the Great Fox were fast asleep, but so was everyone else but Jigglypuff. “Jiggly!” the puffball frowned and began writing on everyone angrily. Upon awakening they’d find the primids gone, the prisoners gone as well. The Great Fox was destroyed, blasted completely in two. The only thing keeping them from floating into outer space was Mewtwo, who Jigglypuff had the sense to wake up when the disaster struck.

“What happened?” Peach asked, looking around at the destruction and the missing prisoners. “We fell asleep, and according to Jigglypuff, the ship was blasted by the Halberd” Mewtwo stated. “What about Fox, and Samus, and the others?” Mario asked. “I haven’t been able to locate them. They either were captured, destroyed, strewn across the galaxy, or possibly still fighting the minister” Mewtwo said. “Why didn’t the minister take us then, turn us into those statues. I mean, if he succeeded, why not destroy us too?” Red asked. Mewtwo didn’t reply, it didn’t quite add up to him either.

Fox, Falco, Krystal, and Samus had vanished even from the reach of Mewtwo’s mind. The prisoners, as well as any sign of the minister, were all gone now. Floating through space now were lost nomads, they had no place to call home, their worlds had been obliterated, save for Ness’s that is. “Where do we go?” Mallow asked. “We must track them down. With the galactic federation, Samus, and the Star Fox team gone, it is up to us” she said. “But how are we going to do anything? Our ship is in ruins” Yoshi said. “Not for long” Mewtwo said as he began repairing the parts of the ship. “Then we’re off” Mario said.

Chapter 15: Pikmin

“Uh… where am I?” Fox said as he woke up, looking around he noticed he was still in his arwing. It came flooding back to. The Halberd had blasted the Great Fox in two. That’s when Wolf and his team found their chance and blasted Fox and his friends from the skies. Apparently Wolf had given up the chase or something as Fox was still alive, but he had no idea where he was. He quickly began flicking switches and pushing buttons, but the arwing wasn’t responding. “Great” Fox said, then looked around the place where he’d landed. He saw plants, and a few small creatures running about here and there, but no signs of intelligent life.

Opening the hatch, Fox stepped out onto the ground and looked around. “Fox, you might have done it this time, you just might be stuck here” he told himself. He tried his communicator on his wrist, but it failed as well, just static. At least it was sort of working. Just then something crawled across his boot. Looking down he saw a bunch of different colored flowers moving about, but then in the middle of the flowers was… Fox bent down and scooped whatever it was up to get a better look at it. Right there in his hand was a tiny little man, not even as big as his pinkie finger!

“Whoa!” Fox said, nearly dropping him. “I’ve seen flying giant heads, dangerous dinosaurs, and a lot of other things. And now you” Fox said. “I am Captain Olimar, I’m from the planet Hocotate” he told Fox. With his large ears, Fox had no trouble hearing him. “So this is Hocotate?” Fox asked. Olimar shook his head. “No, I’m not really sure of the name of this planet, I refer to it as the planet of the Pikmin” he explained. “Pikmin?” Fox asked. “Yes, those flower type creatures around your feet” Olimar explained. “Oh. Wait, you’re not form this world? So you have a space ship then?” Fox asked. Olimar nodded a simple yes. “I’m not from here either, my ship crash-landed” Fox explained.

“Perhaps I could help, I have experience with repairing ships” Olimar said. Fox nearly burst out laughing at that. “Thanks, but my ship is a little large for someone of your size” Fox said. “Just set me down, let me see what I can do” Olimar said, now determined to prove him wrong. Fox complied and set him back down among the strange moving flower creatures. The tiny spaceman made his way to and then inside Fox’ ship, he moved cautiously around the engine and investigated the situation. A few minutes later he called the flower creatures in as well. Fox wasn’t sure what they were doing but he could hear stuff going on inside.

A few minutes later Olimar came out with the flower creatures. “Alright, it should be fixed, some things broke apart and needed remolded when you crashed. Fox had to test this, so he pushed a few buttons on his wrist, and sure enough the arwing started up! “Whoa! That’s great!” Fox said. “Can I repay you in anyway?” Fox asked. “Well, I’ve been waiting on my friend Louie to come back with the ship from our home planet, but if you could take me there it would make things much simpler for me” Olimar said. “Sure, I can do that” Fox agreed, and scooped Olimar back up. He decided to just go ahead and place him in his pocket for now. “Alright, ready?” Fox asked, Olimar nodded and the Arwing was off! What neither of them knew was that those mischievous Pikmin had hitchhiked along for the ride in hiding.

The trip was a short one for Fox’s ship, and as he prepared to land, he stopped. Noticing a familiar darkness surrounding it. “What happened? What’s wrong with my planet?” Olimar asked, noticing it too. “The minister, he’s been here, or one of his lackeys” Fox said. Fox decided it was best to explain the situation to Olimar.

“So this minister, he longs to destroy everyone and everything?” Olimar asked, Fox nodded. “Then I too shall fight against him” he insisted. Fox once more wasn’t sure what the small man could do against the minister, but he liked his spirit. “Alright, then we need to find the rest of my friends. Together we can defeat the minister” Fox explained and headed off to locate where the Great Fox and the others all were.

Chapter 16: Kid Icurus

This world, whatever it was, was beautiful. Falco gazed around in wonder after stepping out of his downed arwing. “Halt!” came a young voice. Floating down from above came what looked like an angel! Falco began to worry then. “Am I dead or something?” he asked. He was after all standing on clouds, there were beautiful buildings, and beautiful scenery all around. To top it all off now was an angel standing right in front of him!

“No, this is Sky World” the youthful angel stated. “I am Pit, leader of the guardians of Palutena and all that you see” Pit explained. “Alright. I’m Falco, ace pilot of the Star Fox team. I crash landed back there and…” Falco began, but was interrupted. “You’re the ace pilot, and you crash landed?” Pit asked. Falco gave the angel a look of death, Pit noticed and decided to keep his mouth shut over the matter. “…and, I need to get back up there to battle the minister” Falco explained. “So why aren’t you back up there?” Pit asked. “I’m out of fuel” Falco stated.

“Oh, well. Perhaps Palutena can help you” Pit suggested. “Don’t really know what some chick can do that I can’t, especially when it comes to my arwing” Falco said, folding his arms. “Just come with me, you’ll see” Pit said, knowing that Falco was in for a surprise when he met Palutena. Pit then flew ahead, leading the way across the clouds toward Palutena’s temple. It was a short trip and soon they walked into and past the doors and columns that made the temple. As they walked forward, Falco noticed an odd glow coming from up ahead.

“Pit, is that you?” came a beautiful voice. “Yes my goddess! It is I, Pit. Guardian over Sky World and Commander of the guard!” Pit announced himself. “To what do I owe your visit?” Palutena asked. “This is Falco, he comes from the stars and needs to get back there to defeat some great evil. His transport however is unable to move” Pit explained. “Welcome to Sky World Falco, I sense a good soul in you” Palutena said as she made her appearance at last before them. Falco’s eyes went wide at the beautiful woman before them, he snapped to though. “Thank you uh, your majesty?” he said, wondering if those were the right words to use.

“I shall grant your transport the ability to fly once more, on a condition” Palutena explained. Falco’s eyes opened more still. “I request that Pit here accompany you” she explained. “What?” both Falco and Pit asked. “Goddess, if I leave, who will guard your kingdom?” Pit asked. “I sense a great foe,” Palutena said to them, “the enemy is strong and his power grows more and more. He is a destroyer of whole worlds. With your departure Pit, you will be protecting this world. So I bid you to leave with this pilot” Palutena said. “If it pleases you Goddess” Pit answered and bowed. Palutena then opened her hand and a strange glowing golden light appeared and encircled Pit. A bow and a strange armament appeared in his hand and on his wrist.

“Do you accept the help I offer you Falco?” Palutena asked. “We could use all the help we could get up there right now” Falco said, not about to turn the angel away. “Very well, your ship is waiting for both of you, I bid you good fortune” Palutena told them. Pit nodded again and then led Falco back to his ship. “So tell me, who is this enemy?” Pit asked as they climbed in and Falco started it up.

Chapter 17: Fire Emblem

“That way, something fell from the sky!” said a man. Many men and a woman riding together on horses, they had apparently been following a dirt trail somewhere. And that’s when one of them noticed a strange object falling from the sky behind them. The strange thing happened to be the arwing that contained Krystal. She woke up coming into the atmosphere, but her landing was still fairly rough. As soon as she was sure she had landed on solid ground she began flicking switches, about to start it back up and leave, when someone leapt onto her ship.

“There’s a living creature inside! But none the likes of which I have seen before” said the man who had leapt onboard with his sword drawn. “Come out strange creature” said the man, directing his words back to Krystal. Krystal wasn’t sure about this, she checked to make sure her staff was still at her side, it was. Opening the hatch and standing up, the people were astonished. “What is she?” asked another man. “She has the color of the blue jay, the appearance of a fox, but the stature of a man.. ere, a woman” said another.

“I am Krystal” she said; this shocked them all the more, it could speak! “I’m the telepath of the Star Fox team, we’re a group of pilots…” Krystal said, trailing off a bit as she noticed the glazed look on everyone’s faces. She realized they had apparently never come in contact with any of her kind, or probably never heard of piloting. “Um… I don’t you any harm, I’m peaceful” Krystal told them. “I am Marth, prince of Altea, son of the great Anri” a young man announced. Krystal smiled, glad that she hadn’t completely scared them to death. “A pleasure to meet you” Krystal said with a smile. “What are you?” asked the man that had jumped onto her arwing. Marth held a hand up, “Hector, please” Marth said, suggesting the man refrain from questions like that.

“Never mind that question, Krystal was it?” Marth asked. “Yes” Krystal said, looking at Hector for a moment and the others, she felt much like a circus attraction here. “This is Hector, Roy, Ike, and Micaiah. What business brings you to Altea?” Marth asked. “None actually, I was engaged in a battle and was shot down” Krystal explained. The crowd looked into the sky, what she said made them wonder what was up there. “We too will be in the midst of battle soon, we ride to fight the…” Marth began but stopped, his eyes focused on something headed their way swiftly through the sky. “Dragons!” Roy yelled out as one then two, and then three dragons appeared.

Krystal was only slightly surprised at the sight of the dragons, after all she had fought against dinosaurs before, dragons weren’t all that different. “We attack!” Marth commanded. The group of them headed in then, weapons drawn and ready to destroy the beasts. Krystal watched for a moment, Marth fell off his horse as he fought valiantly. One of the dragons prepared to crush the life from Marth, however Krystal took action and fired a blast of fire at the dragon, which halted its attack as it turned its attention to Krystal now.

This gave Hector a chance as he jumped onto the beast, hoisting his axe high, and plunging it into the ferocious creature. It reared back, throwing Hector to the ground. Marth too his own opportunity then and stabbed the dragon in the heart! There were still two more though. The woman known, as Micaiah seemed to know magical abilities as she attacked the beasts with no weapon but making energy blasts and such attack them. The other two men, Roy and Ike, were battling against the third dragon and seemed to be making some progress against it. Krystal saw it prepared to breathe fire on them, her staff came out once more as she ran up and blasted the fire with an ice attack.

Ike and Roy, no longer having to worry about the fire, soon took the dragon down. They turned to help Micaiah only to see that Marth and Hector had already joined her to defeat it. “You were quite helpful in that battle” Marth said. Krystal smiled a bit then. “Thank you, I get a lot of practice with the rest of my team” she said. “What enemy do you face that offers you trouble?” Micaiah asked. “His name is the ancient minister, or that is what he calls himself anyway. He plans to destroy, well, everything” Krystal said and continued explaining things to them. They were all fascinated at the descriptions of what this minister could do, but when she spoke of the odd trophy gun, Hector stopped her.

“You say he turns them into small statues?” he asked, causing Krystal to nod. “He is here then!” Hector said, this caused Krystal some alarm. Hector then pulled out a statue of a woman. “This is Lyn, a good warrior. She was changed by this dragon looking monster” Hector explained. Krystal thought of Ridley, Bowser, and K. Rool. But she knew that Bowser was a trophy himself, and the other two were prisoners, weren’t they? “Your world is in worse trouble than you think. He has come to turn this world and all life in it to darkness” Krystal told them. “We must fight him!” Ike said. “It may be too late for that” Krystal said, in the distance arose a large black cloud approaching them fast.

Krystal hopped in her arwing and turned to them. “I’m sorry, I can only take one, maybe two with me in here” Krystal explained. “Take Prince Marth with you then” Roy said. “Yes, it’s important that the Prince be taken” Micaiah added. Marth tried resisting, but the others were set, and there was no time to argue, as the cloud would soon bear down on them. “Take Ike with you, Ike, you will guard the Prince and the Fire Emblem” Hector told them. If not charged for protecting Marth, Ike would have refused. “Go! Go now!” Roy said, the cloud was mere feet away. Krystal fired the engines and closed the hatch as they took off from the ground up to the sky. A few seconds later, the fleeing remaining three were evaporated into the cloud of darkness.

“I’m sorry” Krystal said, as another planet had fallen to the darkness of the ancient minister. “I shall fight for my world, this minister will not go unpunished” Marth said. “I shall fight alongside of you your majesty, to the death” Ike spoke up, hurt by the loss of all of which they had fought for. Krystal decided to remain quiet as they soared across the stars away from the planet.

Chapter 18: Golden Sun

“Life support systems activated” said the voice of the ship. “Uh…” Samus said as she rose from where she had fallen down after being hit. Her ship had spun out of control as the Halberd had blasted her and she had been knocked out. Now awake she looked to see where in space she had found herself. “Unknown” is all the computer kept spitting back at her. “A lot of help you are” Samus spoke to herself about the computer. Turning on the viewing screen she knew her ship had indeed completely crash landed on a planet, but it seemed to still be operative, so there was hope she wouldn’t be stranded here.

An electronic ticking noise could be heard then. Samus recognized it well, she was out of fuel. “Not what I need to happen right now” she told her ship as she headed on out in her power suit. The door opening revealed a beautiful land, full of bright and glorious colors. “Well, looks like a peaceful place at least” Samus told herself and headed out to find a source of fuel. Up ahead she spotted a lighthouse flashing brightly.

“Halt!” yelled a young man and raced towards Samus. Behind him were three others. The first had his hand resting on a sword hilt, preparing for battle it would seem. Samus smiled from behind her power suit’s mask. Lifting her cannon arm she charged herself in case of an attack. “Who are you stranger?” asked a young woman beside the young man in the lead. “A stranger, how about we leave it at that?” Samus replied. “Are you one of the ones attempting to twist the power of alchemy?” asked a second young man. “Sorry, you’ve got the wrong girl” Samus answered. “You’re a girl?” the second young man asked. “Garet” Isaac, the first young man, said to the second young man.

“She’s from above as well” said a third young man, who filled out the group. “From above? Also?” Samus asked. She figured from above simply meant outer space, but they didn’t seem to understand space travel, so she mentally concluded that there was another space traveler there. “Who else is from above?” asked Samus. “The other could be a djinn, he looks like a wolf but he walks like a man” said Ivan, the third young man. “Sounds like Wolf O’Donnell is up to no good” Samus stated, figuring that out right away, she guessed he had followed her and was probably going to attempt to get rid of her, she smirked to herself about that.

“Well, thanks for the information” Samus said and turned back to her ship, she’d be a sitting duck if she didn’t get some fuel quick enough. “So you are not working with him?” Isaac asked. Samus continued and simply replied with a “No” and opened up her fuel tank. “You will be returning up above then?” Isaac continued. “Hopefully, got to find some energy though to get this thing moving” she answered, mostly speaking to herself though rather than to Isaac and the others. “How’s that thing move? It’s not alive is it?” Garet asked then.

“It’s a machine, something your culture hasn’t discovered yet apparently. It runs on energy, think of lightning” Samus said. “Lightning? Ivan might be able to help” Garet said. Ivan was about to suggest the same thing. “If it is lightning you need, and you don’t mind, I can help” Ivan said. Samus turned back around. “Hmm, alright how can you help?” Samus asked. Ivan then closed his eyes and moved his hands about. From the clouds and huge figure descended and stood tall amongst them all. “Thor, I request your aid, help this traveler, fuel her ship with your power” Ivan said. The huge man pointed a gigantic hammer at Samus’s ship and a blast of lightning shot out and enveloped her starship. Buttons flashed and things clicked. The ship was energized!

“I have to say, I’m impressed” she said after Thor had vanished away. “But now that my ship is fixed, it’s time I head out. I need to track down Wolf and the others, stop them from causing any more harm” Samus stated. “The other one that you speak of, this Wolf; If he is indeed the one terrorizing our lands, I would like to help you” Isaac said. “You don’t think you’ll be going alone either” Garet added in. “It’s not allowed, galactic regulations clearly state that a planetary body that has no access or knowledge of interplanetary travel should be allowed on a starship” Samus said. The other four however all seemed pretty set on going.

Samus could tell this, “Look, I know you want to help fight the guy, and that’s fine. But you’re not getting on my ship unless your world is falling apart” Samus said. Right on cue, a large dark familiar cloud began to form on the horizon, and it began to grow outward quickly. Samus noticed it too, “I had to say it didn’t I?” she asked herself. “Well, depending on how you look at this situation,” she said pointing off into the distance, “Your luck just changed”. With that she opened up the doors to her ship and motioned for them all to follow, which they did. “What is happening to our planet?” Mia asked. “It’s a long story” Samus began, heading for the cockpit she began to explain things, and the ship took off from the planet and into the stars.

Chapter 19: End of Onett

“We have arrived at the home planet of Ness” ROB stated as the repaired Great Fox moved along. Mewtwo was the only thing holding it all together though, without him it would probably fall to pieces right then and there, so his concentration was fairly focused.

“Your world seems to not be affected by the darkness Ness” Peach said, seeing from an observation window that the planet looked to be alright. Ness’s face however became slightly stern in appearance and he pointed down to his planet. “He wants to go down there” Mewtwo stated, picking up on the unstated thoughts. “I can’t blame him, I wouldn’t be here if our planet was still around” Donkey Kong stated.

“I believe we should allow ness the chance to return home. He is just a child, and his home is still intact, he belongs here” Geno said. No one seemed to argue with that. “I shall join him to make sure he is safe” Zelda said. “Are you a pilot lady? How do you expect to get down there?” Captain Falcon asked her. “I don’t require a ship. Come Ness, I’m going to take us down there” Zelda stated, prepared to show the good Captain just what she was capable of!

The two of them vanished off of the legendary Great Fox and reappeared in the midst of a great city! “Is this where you live Ness?” Zelda asked him. Ness shook his head no but ran on ahead anyway. Something he saw made him frown as he ran. Zelda looked to see what it was. Just ahead was a very large statue of what looked like a fat boy. This was curious to Zelda but she ran after Ness.

“As I live in breathe, it can’t be.. Ness, is that you?” asked an old man who was hiding behind a corner all to himself. Ness turned and smiled. “Ness it is you!” the old man said, overjoyed. “I thought I was the only one to travel across time, along with Porky too of course” the man said. He then saw Zelda arriving. “Oh my, what a fair maiden. Greetings dear, my name is Dr. Andonuts” said the man with a bow. Zelda smiled at this show of gentle introduction. “Hello doctor, I was escorting Ness home, but I can tell this is not his home” Zelda stated and looked around a little as she did.

“No, no, no.. this is most definitely not little old Onett. No, this is New Pork City, home to the Pig King himself, Porky Minch” Dr. Andonuts explained. Ness’s eyebrows came together in a display of anger at the mention of the name. “Yes, he’s been defeated before, by Ness, and most recently by another young fellow named Lucas. He’s an evil little boy at heart, and an even worse king” he went on. “Is he back to doing evil?” Zelda asked. “I’m afraid so, and now he seems to have teamed himself up with some rather horrible characters. Something called Giygas, Ness knows more about that creature I believe. And the other is someone calling himself King Dedede. That’s just what we need, another corrupt king” the poor old man said, shaking his head and looking at the ground.

“If Dedede is here, we must stop him, he means doom for your world, and all others as well” Zelda told him. “Hmm.. it would be just like Porky to team up with the likes of them” Andonuts said with a nod and a hand to his chin. “Who is Lucas?” Zelda asked then. “Oh him? He’s a good boy, much like Ness in fact, has some very special abilities too” the old man answered. “Do you know where he is?” Zelda asked then. From behind her a small finger tapped her on her waist. Turning there was a young boy, Ness’s age and height, with blonde hair, in a yellow and red striped shirt with a pair of jean shorts.

“There he is, hello Lucas” Andonuts said, noticing the young boy. Zelda and Lucas were both quiet for a bit, being telepathic they communicated their thoughts to each other, Ness joined in as well. A few minutes of the good doctor walking around them in confusion, and they were finished. “We’ve decided to fight the three of them off” Zelda told him. “I was beginning to think you’d turned to statues” Andonuts answered with a smile at their decision.

“If you think you can, go ahead and try!” came the voice of none other than the Pig King himself! He was flanked on either side by the gaseous form of Giygas, as well as the round Dedede. Dedede leapt down with his large hammer extended outward, ready to pummel Zelda. The princess of Hyrule was prepared though, lifting her arms and holding him back with a magical blast of fire.

Ness called a blue orb to appear and blast Dedede off to the side, “PK Thunder!” he said as he finished it. Lucas meanwhile got into fighter stance as Porky boarded his giant robot. Lucas also focused, causing blue energy to form in his mind but travel through his body to his feet where it blasted him upwards, he then twisted in midair and shot the mental attack from his feet into Porky.

“Fools, you can not defeat me. You got lucky last time Ness, you are weaker this time, you shall not triumph again” Giygas stated and began throwing out multiple psychic attacks, knocking Zelda down. Ness and Lucas glared and nodded to each other, hearing each others thoughts telepathically. “PK…” they both began and made hand motions. “Rockin!” Ness said. “Starstorm!” Lucas said. From ness waves of psychic energy blasted Giygas back, only to get tossed right into the main impact of Lucas’s starstorm which caused what appeared to be literal stars to fall down onto the evil creature.

“I don’t need this, I’ll take care of this myself” Dedede told himself as he activated one of the dark bombs. “You will not get away with this!” Zelda said. “And who is gonna stop me? You princess?” Dedede asked with a scoff. Zelda grinned a little, pulling out a bow and arrow. The weapons glowed in golden brilliance as the arrow released it blasted into Dedede, Giygas, and Porky, sending all three flying backwards and out into the stars above. But it was too late for this world, the bomb was off. “Quickly” Zelda motioned to the two boys and the good doctor. They soon were gone, back up to Great Fox.

“Another world has fallen, but we have been joined with some more friends. The enemy is also growing though” Zelda explained to the others. “We must find the minister” Captain Falcon added as the starship continued on.

Chapter 20: Ice Climber, Pac-Man, Game and Watch

“What’s that?” asked Metaknight, looking out across the distance of space as they moved onward. “It is a planet, planet Flatzone” ROB stated. “It doesn’t look like a planet, it looks like a plate or something. It is completely flat” Peach said. “That is why it is called Flat Zone” ROB added, Peach frowned at the robot but said nothing in return. “I think we should go down there” Mario said.

“Why Mario, it doesn’t seem to be under attack by evil” Peach said, turning from the aggravating robot. “If the enemy is growing in numbers like Zelda said, “We’ll need as much help as possible” Mario explained. “Yes, I believe they have as much right to fight for their world as we do” Zelda said. Kirby and Link both motioned in agreement that they would join the party that traveled to the surface. Donkey Kong and Mario decided they’d finish the team and soon they were traveling down in the pesky clown car.

As the group crossed the gravity field of the planet everything began to change. The appearance of Mario and the others was altered, they were no longer fully three dimensional, they were now two dimensional, flat as the planet they were traveling to! That’s when they realized they were not alone, there was a small asteroid field circling the planets surface. “Asteroids” Donkey Kong said in aggravation. Descending further still they came upon a large fleet of ships. “Invaders, from space?” Mario asked. “Says Galaga star ships on them” Donkey Kong answered. “I don’t think they are with the minister” Mario concluded.

Upon landing they found the ground to be somewhat soft, what was odd was they saw another man, dressed in the suit of an astronaut, digging into the ground. Occasionally from below monstrous creatures would appear and walk around, some of them spotted the small group and began heading for them. “Uh oh, I think we have trouble” Mario said, pointing to the crowd. Kirby puffed up and Link drew his boomerang. Kirby ran forward and ignited, blowing through most of them. Link flung his boomerang and took out another crowd. Mario began spitting fireballs as Donkey Kong swung his fists, pounding the creatures back into the ground.

More and more monsters showed up though, the group kept fighting, but eventually they were wearing down when they didn’t stop. That’s when a strange black stick figure type being jumped down from nowhere, holding his hands out, motioning all to stop. He then pulled out a strange white ball. Throwing it forward the ball began bouncing into the monsters like a deadly ping pong ball. The monsters continued to pop up still, though there numbers were lessening.

A large yellow ball appeared then from the horizon, it however opened up as thought it had a mouth, as it got closer it did indeed have a mouth! The yellow thing then ate the dot that the strange stick figure had thrown. The monsters changed forms from the strange monsters to glowing blue ghosts! The yellow monster then went around and began eating away at them, their numbers fast depleted.

After all was said and done, Mario and the others decided these guys could help them out, there was no way to communicate with them though it seemed. Mewtwo, back in the ship, could sense this though and decided to help cross the language barrier. “I am Mario, this is Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Link. We’ve come here to look for help to protect this planet and all the others” Mario said. “I am Pacman, and that is Mr. Game & Watch. Another evil force besides these creatures we fought exists?” Pacman asked. All four of them nodded in answer, and Mario quickly told the tale, leaving out most of it, just telling the main points of what happened.

The group of was soon headed back up, but as they made their way back up past the star ships and the asteroid field a large bird dropped two strange forms right on top of them. It was two people, one man and one woman, they both wore winter coats and held large hammers in their hands. As it happened they were friends of Mr. Game & Watch, and they joined in as well, mainly because they didn’t feel like battling that pesky bird any longer.

The ranks of the heroes were growing greatly, but as Zelda had already said, the powers of evil were growing too.

Chapter 21

“Ships detected” ROB said as the Great Fox continued on its way. “Friends or foes?” Zelda asked. “One is the arwing belonging to Krystal, the other is the starship belonging to Samus Aran” ROB stated then went on, “Another presence detected, appearing on monitor” From the radar a large form could be seen. “It’s huge!” Meta Knight said. “It’s not a starship?” Lucario questioned.

“That is Andross” ROB said. “Who is Andross?” Zelda questioned. “I am Andross, princess, and I have been alerted by the mighty ancient minister of your pitiful attempts against his conquest. He also has promised me a stake when he completely succeeds” Andross, the gigantic floating primate head stated. “If you are with the minister than you too shall fail!” Mario called out.

“Don’t be a fool, your planets have all fallen to his power, and you yourselves are only living thanks to a broken up ship being held together by that psychic creature” Andross said, referencing Mewtwo. “We’ve survived this long Andross, don’t expect any change in that either” Krystal called out. Andross saved his words and instead flung both hands at the Great Fox. The strain could instantly be seen on Mewtwo’s face as he held the ship together.

Kirby grabbed onto his trusty warpstar and was outside of the Great Fox and zooming toward the simian. ROB meanwhile, along with Samus and Krystal shot their lasers at Andross to join in with Kirby’s attack. Phased but no where near defeated, Andross turned his attention to Samus’s ship, grabbing it, knowing that unlike the larger Great Fox, that this one was not protected by the mental powers of the psychic pokemon.

“Din’s Fire!” Zelda said from the cockpit of the Great Fox, a small flash of magic left the ship and headed for Andross, “Quickly, we must save Samus” she told the others. “PK Fire!” Ness said with Lucas joining in with a “PK Thunder!” Lucario placed his hands together and let an aura sphere blast phase through the ship and blast into the villain forehead. At the same time Krystal, Samus, and ROB continued their assault. These multiple attacks caused the mighty Andross to release his grip of Samus’s ship and turn to the easiest of the targets, which was of course Krystal’s ship.

Krystal was prepared for this as she did a barrel roll to escape it. “Leave her alone Andross!” came the familiar voice of Falco as he flew in. “Falco, am I glad to see you again” Krystal said. “Nice to see you made it too Krystal, unfortunately we’ve got to deal with this creep though” Falco responded. The two arwings, with help from the others, bombarded Andross with attacks. Finally he had to retreat, there was no way he could fight against them all, there was just too many. “I will return” he threatened, and then he vanished into darkness.

“Glad that’s over” peach said from inside the large starship. “I was able to reach into his thoughts while he was being attacked” Mewtwo said. Everyone seemed to turn and listen then as Samus and the two arwings docked in the Great Fox. “The Ancient Minister has successfully called forth evil creatures from all corners of the universe. He is assembling them” Mewtwo said. “Then it is more important now that we gather our own forces to combat his army of darkness” Zelda said. “That’s good, because we’ve got quite a few new faces around here” Falco said, referencing Isaac and his friends that came with Samus, as well as Pit that came with him. “I brought along two newcomers as well” Krystal said as she climbed from her ship with Marth and Ike.

“While you were gone we picked up a few people as well” Mario said as Mr. Game & Watch, Pac Man, and the two Ice Climbers Popo and Nana. “Has there been any word from Fox?” Krystal asked. “Negative, we lost contact with Fox when we lost contact with the rest of you” ROB answered. “Don’t worry Krystal, I’m sure he’s alright” Peach comforted her.

Chapter 22: Mega-Man

“Computer any information on the planets nearby?” Fox asked. The screen showed no information on any of them. However down below on one of them he could see flashes over the surface which looked like lightning strikes. A light came on and an annoying beep let Fox know he was now out of fuel. “Well Olimar, it looks like we’re going in for a landing. Hopefully I’ll find a fuel cell down there to refuel” Fox explained as the ship headed down for yet another planet.

Once getting past the clouds a largely industrialized planet was revealed, one similar to Fox’s own Corneria. However the planet was under attack, what he had seen from space was not lightning but attacks from an army of various robots. Fox landed the arwing only to have it attacked a second later by a strange creature that flew around by propeller and grabbed the arwing up in a clutch. Fox opened the hatch and pulled his blaster out and caused the creature to not only let go but to vaporize.

Fox climbed out, Olimar still in his pocket, deciding to take him in case something happened to the arwing. “I think we’d better find fuel and leave” Fox told him and went running toward a large building. Automobiles passed him, trying to escape the attacks from the robots, most were failing at that. “Fox kept his pistol in hand and shot at the robots, the people fled with grateful smiles. Fox was about to shoot another robot, only to find a blast of blue energy vaporized the thing instead of his own trusty blaster.

Turning to where the blast came from, Star Fox saw a young man dressed in blue armor, along with a huge cannon on his arm, similar but definitely not identical to the one Samus toted. “You fight the robots as well? I don’t detect that you are a robot though, a living organism like you dare to fight against the robot masters?” the boy asked. As Fox and the boy got closer to each other, Fox could tell this boy was not a boy at all, but a robot! “Uh.. yeah, I’m Fox McCloud, leader of the Star Fox team – I’m a friend” he explained.

“Friend” the boy said as he reached out a hand to shake with Fox, Fox obliged and their hands shook, the boy robot smiled. “I am Megaman!” he announced. “Megaman, nice to meet you, why is your planet under attack? Is it because of the Ancient Minister?” Fox asked. Megaman wasn’t sure who the Ancient Minister was, but he answered the question. “Dr. Wily has assembled the robot masters to attack this planet. I have been altered by Dr. Light and sent to stop the robot masters and end Dr. Wily’s plans of takeover” Megaman explained. “So the guy is a mad scientist, I’ve run into a few of those before” Fox replied.

“Listen, I’ll help you out if you can get a me a fuel cell” Fox said, hopefully he wouldn’t have to explain what a fuel cell was, the boy was after all a robot. Megaman nodded, he could use all the help he could get. So the two, three since Olimar was still with Fox, set off attacking the various robots that showed up. They made quite a good team too, blasting through the various robots and eventually coming to an area where there were no robots. That is when Megaman and Fox were ambushed.

From all sides appeared robots, these were different than the others too. These looked stronger and it appeared a bit smarter than those other robots did. “You are finished for certain this time Megaman” said one of them who had a large pair of scissors on his head. The strongest looking of the robots then stated, “I will crush you Megaman, Gutsman will be victorious this time”

Fox decided not to wait for such cheesy threats and fired his blaster at the one who just spoke. It didn’t do much, but Megaman joined in and together they began blasting the enemies surrounding them. With their lightning quick agility and their guns, they were beginning to win against the overbearing robots. That was until another robot appeared in red and white armor with long what looked like blonde hair and a sword.

“Zero, you’re not helping Wily are you?” Megaman asked. “Indeed he does Megaman, Zero is going to help me take over this and other worlds, and so will you” Dr. Wily said as he appeared from an underground elevator. In his hands was a trophy device! “The minister will not win, and neither will those that work for him” Fox warned, knowing where he got that from.

“That is where you are wrong. I will turn the two of you just as Zero here has been turned” Wily explained. That was when the bomb from behind Dr. Wily could be seen. “Not another one!” Fox said, firing his blaster at the doctor, only for the blasts to be blocked by Zero’s sword.

The robots opened it up and started the countdown. “Megaman, I’m going to need to fuel cell now, we must leave” Fox told him. “I must not abandon my mission” Megaman advised. “There’s nothing you can do for now, if you don’t come with me then you will be helping their cause, just like Zero” Fox said. Megaman’s logical thinking calculated this and saw the sense in it, at Megaman’s current decreased level he definitely couldn’t handle Zero by himself. The two of them ran away, with Dr. Wily laughing in the background.

The power cell was easy to find, one was just lying around from a factory that had been attacked earlier. It was switched and jus tin time too as the bomb blast wave rose from the direction they had come from. Megaman felt as though he had failed, and he technically had. However, he promised himself that he would return and defeat Wily and restore Zero and the world back to its rightful self. He thought this to himself as Fox’s ship carried them off into outer space.

Chapter 23: Reboot

"My function is complete, Now it is only a Matter of Time." the Daughter of the Ancient minister Looked at the Hourglass in her Locket with a pic of her father and smiled. Meanwhile, in a Game Version of the StarFox Team's Greatest Battle against Andross, Peppy O'Hare and Slippy Toad were fighting Andross and 3 Fighters. The User was Playing as Peppy, Much to his Dismay. He Ultimately Crushed His, And Slippy's Icons. Ultimately Ending the Game in Mainframe's Favor. "GAME OVER" Then there were 2 Robots, a canine, and a Young Sprite. (Judging by the First Line of the story and the People Nearby, It's ReBoot, Season 4)

"Matrix, You won the Game!" Said Hack, "I know," Then the Same Conversation came along, Blah, Blah. It's Peppy and Slippy's Call Now!

"Hey!" Said Hack "What's This Green everywhere?" Slash then Said "and Where's The Firewall?" Both saw patches of green Spawning shadow bugs and the Firewall was Absent from the scene.

"Daemon Must be be here, C'Mon." They ran towards the Principal Offace only to run into a Old bunny Rabbit. "Who are You?" "Name's Peppy O'Hare. Crushed Both My Game Sprite Icon and slippy's to get here" "Yeah, Uh, I Don't have Time, Daemon's Gonna Infect the Intire Net and who knows what she'll Do with it?"

"Give them ze Unity of Zubspace" said a voice, It was Daemon. "All hearts of my Followers have ze hearts of pure subspace." She Knew what She Had to do. Infect the Three Clean Mainframers. "Long range Scanner, Hack" "Okey-Dokey, My Lady" Hack then gave her Binaculars and saw a Gamecube, "GAME OVER" A voice said again, It Raised to show Wario and silver haired 15 year old Female by her Yellow Skirt, She also wore a Blue T-Shirt and Go-Go Boots. "LET ME GO! COME ON AND FIGHT LIKE A MA-" then She noticed her breasts, she then dug in her Underwear, "Go ahead and Look for your happy Sack all you Like, But it's not gonna change the outcome of the Gamecube" as He Held up what Appears to Be a Sega Dreamcast with a copy of "Like Life an Hour" in it.

Meanwhile, Near a Gateway Command. There was a 14 year old brunete wearing Glasses and Blue Colored Gun Swordsman who Recently Got his Blaster back.

"Malon, Look!" the Brunet said as she Pointed at a giant Trophy, The Trophy was wearing a Weird Tiara, and was dressed in a skintight outfit colored in white and Gold.

Malon appeared and touched the trophy's Icon Between her breasts and there was a Memory Holograms There stood the Trophy, Alive as It could be and she said "forgive me, My Lady" (Dimentio: AC, You Just Rhymed) There stood another Figure, Daemon who was holding a Fully Charged Dark Cannon. "no"

BLAM! The Living Trophy was Back to being a Trophy! and Marin saw what happened, Including Some Video Game where a tap on the Trophy Base brought it to Life. so she tapped the trophy base, But instead of bringing it to life, It Dissapeared and Marin was Wearing a weird pendant around her neck.

As She Studied it, Peppy and Slippy appeared, "You're that Gun swordsman who saved Brigadoon, Malon Blue, I think." "and you're Marin Asagi." Said Peppy and Slippy, Respectively.

All Four Raced to the Girl, and they found her and Wario, the girl said "I don't Know what I should Do with a body like this!" "Well, That's-A Your Problem-A, Gina" Wario Laughed as he Leaped into the Halbird. Just then a green blink came from the top of the Principal office

"I AM DAEMON. I AM NOT AN ENTITY, I AM A TIME. MY TIME IS NOW, ZE WORD, IS CRON"

All of the Cyber-Beings Counted down from 111100 (60 in binary) If you Saw what Happened to Daecon in the Next Paragraph, You know what would Happen, Execept for the Part with the Subspace Explosion Far Away from the Area the To-Be-Deleted. There was only one Option for the five heroes in the net, RUN LIKE HECK! (Dimentio: Again with the Rhyming)

In the Spyro Universe, There was an Already Activated Subspace Bomb(Which had A Screen instead of A Timer), Spyro and All the Other Dragons were Turned into Trophies. "I have...Failed you My lady." said a Voice, It was a middle aged sprite holding a staff. Daemon was onscreen "Cron 101" Then he started counting down from five in binary. as The Two Robs close their Robotic Eyes and Nod their Heads away from it. "101...100...11...10...01...." Said Daecon. "Oh." he then Decompiled and The Subspace Bomb Activated, Taking the Dimention with it.

"Good thing Our Arwings Didn't Leave with the Game." They Hopped into the Arwings, Marin and Gina with Slippy and Malon with Peppy. They Left Cyberspace by going Ludicris Speed.

Mainframe was not alone. All across the Net, systems were blown away into subspace like candle flames. The last to fall was the once great Super Computer. Here and there a lone survivor, overlooked in the infection, felt their own hope turn to despair as the energy bridges that held the city together winked out of existence and the disks that held aloft the broken spires shuddered and collapsed into Subspace.

Even the Web was not spared. The chaos usually present in its vast uncharted reaches was now muted and subdued. Where there once was life there was now only the Purple Stuff.
