Heading to the mirror, she took a good look at herself. She could see the girl that was once seven and could tell that a lot has changed for her new ten year old body. She was long and gangly as her arms and legs were completely skinny and her face was matured quite a bit. Her hair was a little longer then before and it was down her lower neck. She was even wearing her old seven-year-old pajamas complete with a pink Barbie T shirt and sweat pants. Sure they look a tad snug in places, but they still fit her early preteen body. She even smirked when she saw her stomach exposed at the bottom hem of her shirt and showing her belly button. Katie was pleased that that she still have her childish looks with her growing body.

Johnny vs. Undertale

Mighty No. 9

Well, It's Undertale time again, though I wasn't sure when we'd get this puppy out cause, y'know. One Year In and Undertale has brought in an evolution of gameplay, an expansion in cast, and elaboration on our lead kid Frisk and it all started out on a bet. See, once upon a time, Keiji Inafune had a dream to produce a spiritual successor to the Mega Man series for fans to sink their teeth into given that Capcom seems to no longer care about the original blue bomber but a throwaway bet with Masahiro Sakurai of all fellas tied to the success of some indie title by Toby Fox spelled a major delay to install the lovable cast of monsters into his own passion project as the cherry on top of the media circus of mismanagement and overambition he had subjected his poor fanbase to what with all the gaming devices this title was being programmed for, an animated series for a game that wasn't even out yet, the Red Ash kickstarter that took focus away from the first project and months upon months of complete radio silence between backers and developers as the delays pushed it ever further and further. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sure how delays are supposed to rub me the wrong way, I get that shit happens whether you're an aspiring game designer like Toby or an Ex-AAA Director like Inafune-san. Sometimes things can go wrong and that's fine, but the communication was next to zilch and I didn't know why that was happening nor did I eventually care about it until I saw the logo and the newcomers that came with it and the first thing I thought when I spotted the shoddily worded ad was, 'Hey, new Undertale. Right after I clocked in the first one, too. I really should try it sometime, has this Megaman vibe I've been needing to scratch for a while.' And I f#©%!ng backed this game, I speak as a generous $20 backer, not an anonymous generous backer which makes up about 70% of the four hour-long credits rail but look! That's my name right there!

J: And for the record, I don't regret plugging this game at the end of the Megaman Marathon I did a couple years back despite the Undertale coat of paint and I get that question from time to time 'Don't you feel stupid for backing this game?' my answer to that will always be 'no.' because back then, I had every reason to believe this game was gonna rock our socks off, how was I supposed to predict this downward spiral that saw it crashed balls first into a Gaijin's domain, I couldn't predict that, nobody predicted that. So I don't regret the plug I did a couple years back when Undertale Mitwosis was still the budding Kickstarter Project dubbed Mighty No.9.

-Words about his concerns-

J: Now I've just spent two minutes talking about how much of a disaster the road to Mighty No.9 ended up being, but I've fired up the computer and thus, Steam's ready to roll for our second visit to the realm of Mt. Ebott. And yes, I'm using the Steam Version as that's the version I bought and I'm glad I didn't 'SWITCH' to any other version because I heard horror stories behind the Wii U port's awkward release date. With that said, let's see if this dolled-up installment in the fledgeling franchise is worth another visit to Frisk and the Gang.

Two months have passed since Frisk freed the monsters from the Underground and suddenly, Robots. Yeah, turns out there are Robots

Yooka-Laylee

Back again and about time, too. Frisk and Friends are in the mood for some Rareware style adventuring

-history-

Three months have passed and Frisk's eleventh birthday inches ever closer, but they've chosen to pick up a part-time job at Hivory Towers incorporated to save up some money for when they get their new bike. CEO Capital B entertains this obvious middle finger to child labor laws by tasking our hero with the menial tasks of an unpaid intern, paying a measily three bucks an hour every day while they spend their summer at Shipwreck Creek. A place which houses a plethora of Humans and Monsters, a aurorabiologist and Will White's latest apprentice named Doctor Patti Puzz, A snake in a hat named Trowser for his seductively thick prices, a chameleon monster named Yooka who offers to help Frisk in their hour of need, and his best friend Laylee: the totally human landlady of Shipwreck Creek and a pretty big fan of Jinkah Paint. The plot's set into motion when Alphys and White join forces with Doctor Quack to invent the Novelizer 64, a newfangled gizmo that can scan books and compile it into a full digital universe to overlay onto the internet and charge thirteen bucks a month to potential subscribers. Capital B seeks to scan each and every book on the planet to create the biggest damn digital reality he can, so Doctor Quack builds a building-sized Novelizer to suck the earth dry of the printed word. Doc White quickly takes notice and contacts Beck and Frisk who are more than ready to roll out, only for Beck to be Worfed by the sucking winds and Frisk to be worried about standing up to their employer. Fortunately, Yooka snaps Frisk out of this funk by offering to help them out on this journey. Frisk complies and the quest is on, and thank god for that, because the book Beck clutched onto turned out to the One Book, capable of rewriting the universe's magical structure, turning monsters into wizards and abortions into beasts. In the wrong hands, the book itself can prove devastating, but combined with datascape stank and xel tech staunk, hoo, you do not want to know how that story ends.
