Chapter 2

History Class was boring as all Shell. Rambling about this thing called National Socialism and this painter named Adolf getting into politics. But there was a major chill down my spine when he got to talking about the slaughter of millions of innocent lives. And almost immediately I knew how it felt to be Xehanort, understanding the sheer weight of the genocide that was triggered by these, for lack of a better word, tyrants. Well, that's one thing about the Service to be thankful for: They target only the agents of the master players, and if they can't catch 'em, hey, more work for guys like me, am I right?

We broke for Lunch a couple hours later and we all sat together at the same table, I was served this glob of thick white shapes with a side of these orange sticks. I was curious as to what this was so I asked Riley about this since she's what we call the 'Earth Expert' around these parts.

"You haven't even heard of Macaroni and Cheese?" Riley was taken aghast by this sudden revelation as if it was shocking. "Have you ever looked at what you've eaten before."

"Well, uh. Yeah! I get a cone of spaghetti every second tuesday of the month!" My reinforced stance on the service, got a bit of a stare from Riley. Luckily for me, Bonnie and Boo were around the corner to break up the tension. Bonnie is Riley's cousin who had been a native of San Francisco since birth, and she's pretty well adjusted to the world around her.

"Guys! Did you hear the news? Boo's gonna show me a world of monsters within her closet!" Bonnie's mouth was muffled shut by Boo's hand.

"It's ah, nothing much. Just showing my buddies around my bedroom. Nothing special..." Boo seemed to be troubled. While Bonnie sees her as the voice of reason in her group. She seems curiously secretive all of a sudden, as if she appears to be hiding. "Y'know, show them a few Toys, play some tunes, jack into some video games and stuff..."

"Cool, but I'm only jacking in for online after I've done a round or two of street hockey at Mrs. DeMeyo's" Riley seemed disinterested in this whole video game thing, aiming more on Hockey. Her signature sport, she's been training in her off season with a courtyard at a neat little terrace on the other side of a tunnel.

"So around 8:30, then?" Boo's words seemed to have deflated Bonnie a bit, "that'd leave Bonnie an hour back at her place."

"But what about the m-" "Magic closet, you ask? Well, that's a secret that ya gotta see for yourself, buddy" Muffled mouth again. She certainly was hiding something, that's for sure.

Chapter 3

Final minutes to the last bell, me, Boo and Bonnie had a study hall in geology. Tracing mountain areas on a map in accordance to the textures of a globe. I rubbed every cubic inch of the thing, my wayward finger somehow slowing to a crawl as I passed Russia.

"Huh, your finger's glued to the rooskies..." Bonnie pondered as my finger started tracing the country in a perfectly circular motion "That's got to be a red flag, always is with superhero stories like this."

"I dunno, Bon." I whispered, "I feel as if something's off with this globe."

"Well, then go fetch another one." Bonnie pointed at the few spare globes in the corner.

  • Bonnie hands out a book to her friend Boo in study hall, She says its from Noel, the writer latched onto Riley.

"Name's based on Francina's fairy familiar." Bonnie held up a trading card to reveal this slender, 1930s style girl with a christmas ordement around her neck as a pendant. "Twelve Elemental forms, a different weapon for each, and the cute little guy Noel: he has a Happiness!"

  • Eraqus asks for another copy of Boo's book.

Chapter 4

  • After Class, Eraqus walks home with Riley when she asks if he and Xehanort wants to go play street hockey with Bonnie.

"No thanks, I've got to meet up with Mary, 'Boo' as you call her..." Xehanort retreated from the group. "Maybe you could ask Yen-Sid to come instead."

"Wait, Why would you of all people want in on a visit to a normie house?" I then pieced together the facts from the lunchroom. "Hold up, Is it because of Masako?"

"Wha-Uh, no. Just wanted to see her stuffed animal collection..." Xehanort was sweating like mad, really hit home with him, didn't I?

Chapter A1

  • Eraqus arrives at Riley's house to pick up her hockey gear.

"Hey, what's that on your desk?" I pointed to a pair of video games sealed in their boxes and they both had the same Kingdom Hearts logo emblazoned onto its orface,

  • Eraqus opens up his gift to reveal Kingdom Hearts: Fated Fictions - I Dig Everything

Chapter 1

My name is Masako. And I hate destiny.

Destiny, you see, has been kind of a jerk these past few weeks. It has a way of twisting your world around just when it's where you like it. Or at least, when it's where you can live with it. I don't know if the universe does this for everyone, but it certainly does it to me.

For example: The Prius Incident comes to mind. But to keep this chapter under eighteen paragraphs, I'm going to say that it invloves the blue fairy and a shmuck named Edd. That's all the hints you're getting out of me, The only thing left to say here is: NEVER AGAIN!

Another example is this fine mess the Writer's probably imprinting as we speak. See, despite it being August 16th on Riley's homeworld, It is November 17th on the planet Couresant where we find ourselves celebrating this thing called 'Life Day' that originally came from Wookie culture but spread across the galaxy as time went on. And this extravigant festival I find myself participating in with my friends, that's how these monks called Jedi celebrate it.

So here I was, holding up the pink cloth with Xehanort holding the Yellow, Yen-Sid the white and Eraqus has the blue with the brown being lifted by a Jedi Master we've met earlier. And the cloths were naturally attached to the back of a flowing kimono adorned by none other than Riley Andersen.

I suppose you're wondering who this Riley kid is, well, It's kind of a long story. See, Riley is from earth, But has spent a little over a month in their little clique following their little trip to deliver an alien device to Robinson Industries.

Chapter 1

My Name is Riley... and I don't have a home anymore.

For you see, my home was eaten away from the inside out, its core replaced with a battle station capable of maintaining the planet's status quo... to an extent. Poisonous spores, child-eating bugs, celebrity meat puppets, all leading the human race to be fully consumed by the ultimate stone: Kingdom Hearts...

I don't understand! It was supposed to be just a video game! just a game... I wanted to be normal...

Why is that so hard for me to do nowadays...

I guess I should start at the beginning. See, it all started with a Video Game series dating as far back as the late eighties. Its two main heroes had a light-and-dark duo motif and fought a guild of evil robot manufacturers that want to mow down every Disney-themed world they come across. It lasted three games and spawned two sequel subseries, each having its own set of characters with a supporting role for those original heroes in the elder of the two subseries's. (Is that how you say it? I dunno.)

But then came Birth by Sleep, and it all went crashing down.

Convoluted storylines, contrived character origins, time shenanigans, you'd think it'd be easy to have the three series join together. It felt like a natural stepping stone for the franchise's thirtieth anniversary after the lackluster thirteenth anniversaries of each of the three lines that make up the series as a whole. But it turns out that the fourth wall had other plans, like stuffing the original duo and their brainy friend in my real world.

I should have seen the warning signs when I pulled the Scythe from the statue's chest, The Edelsteki emissaries, the chatroom therapy, the webcam messages with Alex, all leading me to that fateful comic-con when a couple of Video Game dweebs came to drag me kicking and screaming through all sorts of disasters like the complete obliteration of an entire world, to humans that somehow evolved from fish almost overnight to space marines known for a series incidents in Hawaii to an alchemist who might as well be some sort of witch to a talent scout who made us all into superheroes without asking to a cult of acrobatic space monks dolling me up into a vessel for some goddess to my home planet being eaten from the inside out to create a Death Star almost two decades out from the actual one to the complete decimation of the constellation my universe was apparent parked inside of.

And that's where I am now.
