Alexander Cayford: Hello, there. I come to you to propose a new use for the Kingdom Hearts IP since you are clearly want to bow out of the video game publishing business. See, many a fan were clamoring for a television series since the very first game in the series, and I believe that you once tried your hand at producing one yourselves, but alas, Nomura's expansive plans for the Kingdom Hearts Saga far outweighed your own so it met the fate of the Atlantis cartoon and ended up on the cutting room floor. And basically, it is ultimately for the best as it has gotten so convoluted, so dreary and so panderous that the original continuity is no longer able to stand on its own two feet without bending over backwards with clunky exposition and idiotic concepts to justify pulling a character back from their toy chest of original characters. So what better way to announce a show than to have Kingdom Hearts III set her up on the spot with the power of internet psudocelebrity Andrew Hussie!

Homestuck is known for its huge cast of characters with a relatively equal level of male and female players in each session of the SBurb universe-creation Video Game whether human or insectoid-alien creature person. The comic has recently ended its 6 year and 12 month run after garnering a most impressive fanbase, but the ending was sort of... unsatisfactory to say the least. The fact that it ended completely open-ended means you can slap on a stunning revelation that continues the story to an extent and no one would ultimately argue with you, a clean start without scrapping continuity, Something the Powerpuff Reboot tried and failed at miserably since there was only one target they were aiming for. <We're in the Money>

DeeP DiSH: Sometimes I wish I had one of those new Powerpuff Girl toys just so I could throw it against a wall.

Cut to the land of Fairy Tales, where Kingdom Hearts Unchained X takes place. There are words of there being a Traitor amongst the five foretellers heading the individual divisions of the game brought into being by the Master of Masters, the one true creator of the X-Blade.

DeeP DiSH: Now there's this Fan-Theory zigzagging about, saying that Sora and the Gang have been re-encarnated from these Foretellers: Terra from Ursius, Ventus from Leopardos, Aqua from Aquius, Kairi from Vulpis, Riku from Unicornus and Sora from that sixth foreteller who didn't get a Book of Prophecies. But who is the master of masters? Someone who knows about this world inside and out, maybe he was one of the twenty creators of this particular world after beating a certain video game in the seventh and currently final act of Homestuck?

Think about it, the reborn world from the mainline Kingdom Hearts canon would be a post-scratch version of the Unchained X universe with Eraqus, Xehanort, Yen-Sid, A version of Riley from Pixar's Inside Out and Masako (Kairi's Grandmother) replacing the Foretellers as the elder masters and the Foretellers becoming the loveable younglings we've grown to love for over a decade now. This revelation will be something no one would be expecting, and I have quite the plan for the Master of Masters.

My name is Ronnie. And my head really freaking hurts!

I suppose it all started with Cassie. 

Oh, my chrystler, Cassie.

To get through this as fast as I can, she was a veteran of a war that spanned three years. The enemy, believe it or not, were alien slug creatures called Yeerks and she along with four of her friends, Rachel, Jake, Marco and Tobias, all had the ability to morph into whatever animal they damn well please... In other words, its as if Manimal became real. I probably should mention that, at the time, she was thirteen.

But that particular war was over with, Now I was among them as the latest member of the Alphamorph Squadron. One of two teams Led by either Jake or Tobias, To be honest, I can't really recall much of the major details now. We're fighting on two separate fronts with an alien conglomerate funneling war machines to a new army of Yeerks and prove to these god-being things that humans can be trusted with being a capable species to trust the aliens among us.

But when you look at modern kids TV, find that Sesame Street's on HBO, Networks like Cartoon Nutpack and Knuckle-odeon (See what I did there.) spewing garbage programs, and the entertainment deliberately hiding their gems to focus on these glorified Toy Commercials... You can see why Donald Trump's going to end up getting the edge he needs to run this nation into the ground.

I hate to get all political here, but when you hear about what I had to watch, of course you'd be driven mad by the very real possibility that a global isolationist would end up in charge of the free damn world. With Yeerk rebellions fueled by money and resources from this freaking Pythagor Conglomerate and gods of destiny using us to test the waters for all of humanity when clearly one of our major leaders works as a bodyguard for a Russian Mafia, it is painfully easy to get lost in all the hectic chaos that is my new life.

'Well at least you have a loving supporting wife to fall back on.' I hear you cheer. And to that comment, I point you towards Gurraf 427.

See, there's a blatant risk of lives with the job, Melissa's dad was one of the major controllers in the earliest parts of the first war, Tobias was stuck in a hawk morph for most of his adolescence, Marco doesn't really remember much of either war these days, and I can name the four that died on the Job off the top of my head. There's Rachel, who died at the end of the first war with the Yeerks. Santorelli, who died chucking a Time Matrix into the sun, if only I had one of those. Jake who traded his life to The One so he could ressurect Rachel who then helped the team strike down a top general of the Yeerks to return the metaphysical favor.


And now, we... I lost Cassie.

And you can thank Guraff for that as well.

All it took for him to seize this one moment was some re-enforced steel doors and a Russian Chestbeater who was afraid of his own shadow. Now I aim to strike him down as quickly as I could. 

The problem here was figuring out just where I was.
===Satellite of Love===
I was on a spaceship, that was certain. But the look of it wasn't really Yeerk or Pythagi to me. Though, to be fair, I never really stepped into any spaceship of theirs, being that I'm so new to the whole mess. It looked as if it was straight out of Doctor Who, not the big budget NuWho that Cassie would tear apart for being a mess of plot (Tanks for nuthin, Moff, why don't you squeeze in a reference to 90s Adventure Bear while you're at it) but the handmade Who that dated all the way back to 1963, cobbled together out of junk and spare parts, same could be said for the two robots that were sleeping in the rooms attached to the hallway I woke up in.

I glanced at the Door behind me and it had a Number Three on it, I stepped a bit closer to open it and it did so automatically. "raaah... *snort* ...movie sign... awww..." One of the Robots was naturally stirred by the noise so I had to morph into something small.

I remember a Snake that I acquired when me and Cassie were dating. We both ate a hard-boiled egg in our snake morph and the feeling of it passing through my gullock was enough to begin the change.

My legs came together and merged into a fine, scaled tail with the familiar rattle shape at the tip. I clutched my chest so my arms would seep into my body and my head became pretty much all neck, ProJared's worst nightmare.

I slithered through the air ducts and went to check the rooms through the shafts, 3...2...1... I saw an empty movie theater with at least dozens upon dozens of empty seats. Probably for the Pythagi's Cinematic tests. 1...2...3... Back through the hallway, probably to the bridge... 4...5...6... A desk greets me as I slither my way out of the ventilation shaft and demorph. I walk up to it and find a mess of foreign objects both underneath the desk and across the room. The items that got my mind wandering were a purple sweater with the word 'Joike' sewn onto it, a diagram of an anatomically correct giant turtle monster, the shed hyde of many a native species (at least, I hope it's a native species.) and the thing that attracted the most attention: A panel with three distinct buttons, the red one on the left was flashing like mad.

I was curious enough to want to know just what it did, but smart enough to know that it wouldn't really be any good. I reluctantly pressed the flashing button to reveal a man on the hexfield with a messy brown hair styled outward to emphasise the white streak in his hair, trailing all the way down towards his moustache. He jumped with shock which would come naturally if you saw a twenty-something year old black dude in the nude.

"Erm... I take it you're Mr. Hexton..." I didn't really know what I necessarily had to do to diffuse a situation like this so I panicked and said "No, sir." This made him crack a frown of pity.

"Oh, yes... Of course you're not. See, the test subject I am referring to - The one that my daughter picked out for the experiments, - he's a bit more... caucasian than you appear to be." I didn't really care if this was a race thing or not. All that mattered was that this guy did not really have the world's best interests in mind, with individually packaged action figure parts on one side, car engines plugged into the place of human organs on the other, an NES cartridge with what appeared to be the complete works of LJN on the table. This guy was Mad with a Capital M

"But enough about me, Let's Kill You!" My heart literally sank as he pulled the lever, cutting oxygen to the bridge with me trapped inside. Is this really how it ends? Gasping for air and begging for mercy? No... Cassie wouldn't give up like this.

A mysterious group of shadows flow from skyscraper to skyscraper scouting for survivors that haven't been mutated into an incomprehensible freak of nature. Along the way, they find a few books and gaming systems locked away in the rubryx with care as the people who owned them would go flee from there.

The seven searched building after building for locals who were scraping along with the remains left behind. A task which, given the state of the city, appeared to be better said than done as the seven struggled to find anything beyond a slightly singed book or a dying savefile of a game cartridge. 

One of the shadows glanced at on of the tallest towers and searched it floor by floor to find as much ideas as they can cobble together into the SPRING. The Shadow was clad in a bright teal driving a motorcycle made out of sugary treats and the like. She glanced at the remains of the tower, she spotted something...

"A Video Arcade!" The shadow revved its engine as it zoomed through the tower's window, and onto the fractured road. Navigating through the debris of any failed manual escape attempted by the people who wanted to evacuate to an actual place instead of the digital reality that the human race is forced to call home.

The shadow pulled over at the last remaining parking space that wasn't filled by a destroyed car or even destroyed itself. 'Damn... could this day get any sweeter?' thought the shadow in teal before spotting a glowing marker of light... 

The glow of a PDT ready to burn out its battery. "Zero-One, this is Three-Oh-Niner, I've found an Arcade with a Personal Datascape Terminal!"

"Probably to compete with those Cyber-Cafes we saw back in the day." sneered the voice of a short shadow in a purple robe and lime-green gas mask.

"Real laugh riot, Yana-Bravo, but there appears to be fifty-two whole yottaroos of memory with seven of which are currently vacant! And look at what's in this monstrosity: Huge collection of Pokémon Savefiles, Full Dolphin 6.4 library, Romhacks, Journals, Video Review Projects! Geez, I'm going to need a render farm for this one."

"Yeah, She's right. Lickity-Split's got one Yotta! That's clearly not even enough to contain the atomic structure of a Toddler!" laughed a jokey shadow in a baby blue cloak and red gas mask.

"Hold your tongue, Charlie-Vique!" a 'Sir, Yes, Sir' was issued to Zero-One as Three-Oh-Niner opened the Arcade door to find the humming of Arcade Machines as the freshly activated title screens do their dances upon the electromagnetic boots of the shadow powering the then de-energized libraries of pure data. Glancing at the machines adorning the Arcade, the shadow known as Three-oh-Niner cracked a faint smile of nostalgia upon seeing a 'Sugar Rush' Machine. "Check the PDT for survivors and render their bodies back into existence..."

"Roger that." Three-Oh-Niner said as it connected its hard drive to the PDT to find that its battery only had three days' worth of juice left in it. 

"A ten month wait in a seven month battery... Talk about making it last..." Blushed Three-Oh-Niner as it started to activate the render machine that teleport humans like them between the real world and their Personal Datascape.

"Scan for any userforms stored inside your databanks for rendering process." commanded Three-Oh-Niner as it warmed up its voice to sing 'the verse of atmosphere' to protect the Arcade from the poisonous metatoxin.

A barrier of water begins to surround the arcade as she finishes its song to check on the render machine as it finished recreating the physical bodies of its users. One of them being a big, broad man with messy crimson locks matched only by the hair all across his limbs. The stubble on his chin decorated with a Cheeto crumb or two as he scratched the pot belly underneath his blue undershirt which was sandwiched under a plaid-red buttonshirt and over a black shirt. By the man's side was a young girl no older than eight who wore a teal shirt and mismatched socks

"Love the helmet, bucko." the man complimented, unaware of the shadow's purpose. "Brings the whole 'Sugar Rush: Sweet Racers' vibe to the look. But I gotta-"

"Oh, Snap, You're The Game Wreckers!" jumped Three-oh-Niner with delight as it got onto its comlink! "Guys! Guys! Look who just rescued some cewebrities tonight!"

"Niner, please stop fangirling and get the survivors their survival masks." demanded a stern commanding voice to which Three-Oh-Niner sighed back: "Fine, Flan-Wow, as you wish."

"Van, she's..." Studdered the "s-she's-" 

"Yeah, I'm a Drifter, so consider me your meal ticket outta here!" smiled Three-Oh-Niner under her helmet.

"Wow! This means we're finally gonna see the SPRING!" smiled the little girl. "All the friends we've been sealed off from, more people to talk to besides ya, a quickly growing Datascape Farm, We've finally found a drifter willing to take us off this rock!"

"Okay, kid, chill out. We don't really know how many others are out there." reminded the man, "So, I take it you want me to unbolt this puppy and remove it from the stage."

"Please."

Three-Oh-Niner attached the Surge Protector strip and all the Arcade Games connected throughout onto a d-Mail to SPRING, The Game Wreckers watched the atoms of the arcade cabinets fly through the window and into SPRING as they drilled the screws holding the PDT to the floor out of the sockets for Transit. The man pulled it up and placed it onto the cargo.

The two got into the passenger cart that generated itself from an LED light beam projector on the side of the Bike as Three-Oh-Niner sat down and started to rev the bike's engine. The two got in with their PDT in tow and it drove off with the rest of the Drifter's Brethren.

Eventually, the Drifters zigzagged to the top of a tower of screens. "It looks like it could have been some giant... HUD Interface."

"Really?" glared Alpha-Bravo.

"I could tell cause they're all full of ads." snarked Three-Oh-Niner. This gained a chuckle or two as the seven Drifters gazed at the marble torch standing as a grim reminder of the utopia it once was.

"So... How much did you get?" said the well-built shadow. 

"I got five lorebooks, a PS4, 360, And a few GBA Cartridges." said One-Eighter.

"I got an iPad with dozens of Audiobooks." Charlie-Vique added.

"I got like three complete shows on DVD."

"I got a Rock." Yana-Bravo sighed...

"But are they dupes, soldier?!" howled Zero-One. They glanced at their findings, argued towards the different monsters in their saves could be salvaged, Groaned in dissatisfaction towards not getting more than one or two new concepts, and sighed in depression that the city had ran out of life.

"Yet another 'Silent Night, Deadly Night'." Reference aside, the main shadow who spoke those words regarded this once glimmering capitol of a once proud nation of a once rich and beautiful world, was regarded as just another dead village.

"...Really, Joel!?" Spewed Alpha-Bravo. "You're really playing out one of the largest cities of a long-since-destroyed country with jokes?!"

"Well, considering my purpose in the new system," Sighed Zero-One. "What else can we do to keep the Nothing off our backs, Phil?"

Alpha-Bravo merely shot at one of the fragment barrier's zeicott, blowing it to bits and weakening the Barrier it projects resulting in the top of a building disintegrating into data.

"There's a thing called growing seasons that we can't have here anymore because, hey, lifeless void of nonexistence here." Zero-One retorted.

"Maybe if you didn't keep us locked inside that rubik's cube of a virtual reality for so long, maybe I could have stopped the nothing from showing up!" Alpha-Bravo roared in frustration, "Maybe my superpowers could have saved humanity from being homeless!?"

"Alright, alright, no need to linger on what ifs and what shoulds," chuckled Dapper-Zeke as she mounted her masked steed. "What matters is that we book it and leave this fragment to rot."

Alpha-Bravo was dumbfounded. "But Mom!"

"Forget it, Phil. We gotta skidoo before the nothing comes to." Rhymed Zero-One.

"Commander Zero-One's right. With any luck, the Ocean of Woe will spread through the shard first." Charlie-Vique added, "That's when the textured Freimwyrtz start flocking here."

"And what about us!" cried the Game Wrecker in Red, now brandishing his gas mask. "This City was our home!" 

"Which grew more and more uninhabitable as the months went on." Three-Oh-Niner reminded "...to the point where you need masks like the ones I gave you simply to survive outside that Datascape of yours."

And with that, the group ventured back to the 'Passage of SPRING' A gateway to their ever-growing digital santuary beyond the shards of the shattered reality they once called home.

What does Homestuck mean to you?
: It's kind of like Kingdom Hearts in that the community is pretty creative with fanart, fanfics, fantheories, music, and all that. Both became spawling mythologies oozing with memorable characters, both saw its share of tragedies and both see death become a two-way street in some way, shape, or form. But the difference with Homestuck is that ever since the first day: Homestuck listens. Homestuck knows. This is what allowed it to see all sorts of creativity flow from it, even one of its most talented composers Toby Fox produced Undertale, one of the greatest video games of all time, because of support from the many fans of Homestuck, dude even slept in Lord Hussie's Basement!

Who is your favorite character?
: For me, It's sort of a toss-up between Dave Strider and Calliope, both are nice guys at heart that have been tossed in an increasingly dire situation, even encountering alternative versions of themselves, deceased alternative versions, mind you- And after six years and twelve months of putting up with all sorts of drek on top of having to their respective brothers being themselves, you can feel for those two and I am more than happy that they made it out of Act Seven alive. Personally, I gravitate more towards Calliope cause she sees herself as ugly and thus is not comfortable in her own skin, desparately desiring to be her fantroll Callie Ohpeee.

How do you feel the end of Homestuck?
: I feel it's kind of unresolved, we don't know what happened with Ms Paint, Aradia, Sprites, The Felt, and all that. Not to mention we haven't really seen Lord English, to put it bluntly, get dunked on. And don't get me started on Hussie's little goof with the frog switch! But that's the fun of homestuck, there's always a mystery to solve, that there are hints to future shenanagans, clues as to who might one day join the cast.

What kind of world would you create if you got your mitts on a copy of SBURB?
: I'm gonna do the Haruhi Suzumiya treatment, Aliens, Time Travelers, Ghosts, Monsters and Espers, the kind of environment that main player John Egbert would thrive in. But I also want to make sure that there are people who can fight off any threat and defend their city and the world if things escalate high enough, but if we're talking a realistic wish that would improve the world, I'd make it so Money in Politics is strictly forbidden, complete with loosened copyright laws.
