Phoenix Travel is a small domestic carrier within the Caldari State with limited international routes to the Sushiian States. The airline does a great deal of charter service from Ulan-Ude and Xi'an to other exotic destinations seasonally. There has been much complaint that Phoenix Travel does not meet even the minimal safety standards because of the lack of proper seatbelts and other safety equipment including lifejackets. PT's aging fleet is also of concern due to the extensive if not expensive to maintain so the aircraft are only brought in for repairs when it is severe. This has caused Phoenix Travel to be possibly banned from several nations' airspace.

Since Phoenix Travel is mostly a charter service, the in-flight experience is more bland than other Caldari airlines. Movies are changed every two months and they include a combination of Hollywood blockbusters and Caldari films. Other in-flight entertainment include 12 audio channels and several complementary magazines including Silk Road; the magazine on board Caldari Airlines. Meal service is offered on all flights depending on the time of day and most services have the option of two main courses: one hot and one cold, a salad and two dessert options.
