The Liberalian Reform Party (TRP), normally refered to as The Reform Party, was a short-lived, liberal conservative party in Liberalia. It was founded at August 6th, 2007, and wasn't joined by anybody before it was merged with The Centre-Right Party September 6th same year. These parties made the former Independence Party, which members moved over to the short lived Third Party – which merged into the current Reform Party.

The manifesto was published same day as the party was created.

  • For the human's freedom (this includes the right to life and property).
  • For the human's own responibility for it's own life and future.
  • For variety.
  • For mutual respect and toleration.
  • For free trade and capitalism.

[edit] Education

  • Education is very important to The Reform Party, and we will have a school of variety. Not a school of equality, but a school of possibilities and knowlegde.
  • The Reform Party supporting private schools; the state shall not own all schools.
  • Parents should have several schools for their children to choose between.
  • Mentally retarded children should get special help from specialists, and should maybe be sent to special schools.
  • This subjects shall get priority:
    • Mathematics
    • English
    • Social science, i.e. geography, history, and social science
    • A second language, like French, German or Spanish, for example
  • More weight on information technology, but this should be included in all subjects.

  • Religion is not the state's business, and the state should therefore stay out from it.
  • However, the schools driven by the state shall teach about all religion to create toleration and understanding among the children. Official religions shall have priority.
  • Lessons about religion shall be teaching, not announcing.
  • The Reform Party mean that homosexuals shall have the same rights as heterosexuals, but the state cannot force the church to marry gays; that's the church's own business.

  • The Reform Party supports free trade, and wants therefore to remove subsidies.
  • The Reform Party wants to sell some companies and services own by the state; health care, education etc. should not be solt.

[edit] Healthcare

  • Healthcare services and hospitals shall be owned by the state, and shall provide free healthcare to all citizens.
  • Private health services is allowed so long they're registred and approved by the state. The private sector have to provide the same standard as the public sector.

  • The state shall provide money to reduce leaks from areas owned by the state.
  • The state shall also force the private sector to reduce leaks.
  • Environment isn't UN's business, and UN shall therefore stay out from it.

[edit] United Nations (UN)

  • The Reform Party think that the UN is too left-wing, and should be closed down because of lacking political neutrality. The Reform Party wish to support our regional delegate, so membership of UN within The Reform Party is absolutely opinional.

  • The Reform Party will use the military as a tool of defence only. The Reform Party is against all form for agressive use of the military.
