Form
Senorak Valley's economy is a capitalizm. The government promotes and encourages people to start their own business and to get involved with the national economy. Rewards and tax breaks are given for individuals who do go on to start businesses that succeed in the world of competitive capitalizm. Senorak Valley's market is mostly laissez-faire with a few small restrictions to help prevent total monopolies. Examples of these include the Brooker Monopoly Regulations. It states that monopolies will be considered such when they own at least 93.8% of any market in which they are involved. If they are considered a monopoly, then certain regulations come into play. Monopolies must sell at least 1% of their market to smaller businesses at affordable prices. Said monopolies must then donate 13.814% of their income to charities which will be randomly selected at tax time each year. Monopolies will be taxed an extra 3.5%. This has resulted in there being a general stalemate between companies, which fluctuates between two or more companies. This generally benefits consumers as there is no real benefit to being a consumer to a certain company. The companies generally have the same benefits as they try to get more money than the other to gain a better foothold. This has resulted in low prices which creates general well-being in the populace.
