Could something like bioctin be based on a useful' search? For Mersenne primes or counter examples to a well known conjecture?I think not because what is being mined needs to have a regular discovery timetable and mining maths is basing the value of your currency on no one improving maths. Mind you current bioctin hash based mining is also based on that.
