Blathers is the curator of the town museum. He will help you with identifying fossils. He will also ask you for donations to the museum in the form of fossils, bugs, fish and art. Any items donated to Blathers will immediately appear in the relevant section of the museum. As you donate bugs and fish, and complete skeletons, he will give you a short talk about them.
