Redd (also known as Crazy Redd) is a fox who will arrive at your town once a week (on a day you specify to Lyle) and set up his tent outside the Town Hall. To get into his tent, you need a password. Once inside, he will sell you rare and not-so-rare items at massively inflated prices. It's possible to buy Paintings from Redd, but there is always the possibility that he has sold you a worthless forgery.
