The Slingshot is one of the basic tools. It can be used for shooting down Floating Presents from the sky. There is an upgrade, the Golden Slingshot, which can be gained by shooting down 15 floating presents. Following shooting these down, the next package will contain the Golden Slingshot.
Oddly enough, the slingshot never runs out of ammunition, but it does take a while to reload.
