History Moreshet Ma'arav BBYO was founded in the February of 2017 by various teens in the Naperville area near Chicago. It began as "Morshet Ma'arav", but after the board realized that this spelling of the Hebrew transliteration for 'Western Legacy' was incorrect, the region had this changed.
