History

Frank Fierman AZA #2233 was founded in January, 1980. However, it had previously operated under the name Frank Garson AZA, beginning in 1951, before folding in 1975.

In the early 2010's, the chapter had dwindled down to just a few members, with the chapter being propped up under the leadership of two future Atlanta Council Shlichim: Seth Euster, as well as Bradley Schleicher.

In 2013, Jake Steel and Danny Hydrick switched over from Avitz AZA #2383-2490-2490-2382, where they immensely helped the chapter. Jake, serving as both Godol and Moreh, brought in a Freshman class that featured 5 extremely dedicated Alephs. These 5 Alephs (Josh Binderman, Andrew Wallach, Kenny Janis, Drew Weiss, and Josh Lewkowict) served to revitalize the chapter in membership, progamming, and reputation. After this wonderful year as Godol, Jake Steel was elected as the 86th Atlanta Council Aleph Godol.

In 2014, the chapter was changed forever. With Josh Binderman serving as both Godol and Moreh, an AIT of 40 Alephs (including the AIT of the Year and Moreh of the Year) was brought in. This new class ushered in a new wave of acclaim and prestige for Fierman, helping the chapter earn the AC Chapter of the Year award, as well as the Henry Monsky Award. After this defining year for Fierman, Josh Binderman was elected as the 87th Atlanta Council Godol.
