Brandeis AZA #1519
Named after Judge Louis D. Brandeis, a supreme court judge who advocated against monopolies, powerful corporations, and public corruption. Brandeis AZA #1519 is the oldest continuously-operating AZA chapter in NRE-DC Council. Its oldest advisor, Mervyn "Moish" Hamburg, helped to found the chapter and has served it ever since (over 50 years of service). Brandeis AZA has been awarded the Henry Monsky award for chapter excellence over 30 times.
