Unfamiliar with the area, Sonia and Lauren were hopeful for the future of the Jewish youth in the Western Suburbs. After around five and a half months of recruiting and hosting events around the Naperville area, what was originally known as "Naperville BBYO" would soon have enough members to begin a chapter of their own and receive their temporary charter. Moreshet Ma'arav BBYO is still thriving today with almost 40 members, their official charter and chapter number, and one of their founders newly elected to the regional board.
