Haganah has a history of greatness. Since 1993, the chapter has been a virtually annual '''Henry Monsky Honor Roll''' award winner. and at International Convention 2001, Chapter '''Aleph Joshua Garfinkel''' was elected '''Grand Aleph Godol'''. In addition to this, Haganah won GMR's Invite competition for the eleven years prior to 2009, when the judges apparently thought that Haganah was too good and would never be beaten, so they let another chapter win.

Haganah is a great chapter located in the North Shore of Chicago. It has won Invite (a competition convention between chapters) on countless occasions including 2013. They have represented GMR very often at IC and always have great events much better than the other chapters in the region. They have won 15 straight Henry Monskey Chapter of the Year awards.
