Months can range in length from 28 to 31 days.
Julian and Gregorian calendars
The Gregorian calendar, like the Julian calendar before it, has twelve months:

- February, 28 days, 29 in leap years
- March, 31 days
- April, 30 days
- May, 31 days
- June, 30 days
- July, 31 days
- August, 31 days
- September, 30 days
- October, 31 days
- November, 30 days
- December, 31 days
Hebrew Calendar
The Hebrew calendar has 12 or 13 months.

Adar 1 is only added 7 times in 19 years. In ordinary years, Adar 2 is simply called Adar.
