Global warming was discovered in 1841 by Al Gore.

Global warming is caused by the greenhouse affect... or something like that. The Sun heats up the Earth. However, there is too many extra gases in the Earth's atmosphere. So instead of the sun rays bouncing back, they get trapped in the Earth. Eventually, there is to much rays so the temperature starts to rise.

The main problem gas is carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide comes from cars, factories, and people breathing. Trees and plants use this carbon dioxide to produce food for themselves and in return, give us oxygen in return.
To reduce carbon dioxide, the plan is the public to use energy saving appliances and drive Toyota Priuses. This way, greedy corporation get to keep pouting the environment and keep cutting down trees faster than we can keep track.
