Hill Valley is a town in north California. The town was founded by William Hill. Hill Valley is located in Northern California, 12 miles east of Grass Valley.

History

Early History

Hill Valley was founded by William Hill and the town was first settled in 1850 and was incorporated in 1865 . By 1883, it was connected by railroad to San Francisco. The Shonash Ravine Bridge was completed in the summer of 1886.
