Springfield, Springfield State is a city in America. The current mayor of Springfield is Mayor Diamond Joe Quimby.

History

The town of Springfield was founded by Jebediah Springfield in 1796. In its early days, the city was the target of many Native American raids, and to this day, many forts and trading posts remain including Fort Springfield and Fort Sensible.
